Service time was rescheduled to later in the day- not convenient. Tech did not have the tools to compete job after he broke a nut. Was given partial refund but still have to go elsewhere now to have job finished. Tech was helpful but job was not completed as promised. Very disappointed

The website does not relay the correct information to the locale. The photos are a real PITA to do through the website. The RETURN customer service representative was EXCELLENT. He was very informed and provided information to us to consider in the future. He has been trained well. Thank you.

I had to go back to the store after I picked up my initial rental because the steering was so bad that the steering wheel itself was halfway turned to the left to just keep the vehicle straight. When I returned to the store the employee that was there, which is the owners daughter mind you, told me she just drove the truck up to that store from a service center in Syracuse like that. If you knew it was that bad then why was it rented to the public. That vehicle is unsafe

First trailer we were given, the lights weren't operational. We were concerned about how worn the tires looked as well. We were switched to a different trailer with newish looking tires so it all worked out It was all handled well and as quickly as possible.

wiper was broken on the truck, i'll remember for next time to check that and not just the dents, because it rained like crazy and I had to pull over. No way to let them know as I dropped at the closer location then arranged.n

The front desk employee for this rental experience had a overall good demonstration for experienced customer service. 🤔 however, the only complaint is that while explaining his previous negative experiences with him and customers he became quite loud and very angry slamming his fist into the desk and hand into the signature pad. The continued behavior he kept for the rest of the services. He was possibly more likely trying to direct anger tword.us while putting blame for it on a excuse that was not direct. It was disturbing to me and it is a very unprofessional problem that hopefully is not in the process to.become more normal of a occurrence.

The young blonde lady was very rude. I was returning my equipment and instead of finishing with me , she decided to start a young man's return instead . I waited for some minutes then I have confronted her , and she quick dismissed me saying that she was sorry and continued with the man's return. That was absolutely unprofessional and rude, and most definitely won't go back to that location.

Thanks for having this trailer. When the reservation was made trailer I wanted wasn't available at this location so I made the reservation at another location. I arrive at location I had reservation at and they have no trailer. Thankfully you did,which is where I wanted to rent from in the first place.

The only reason we moved our stuff out is because the price of rental had increased 3 times in less than 2 years and was getting ready to increase again. We found another unit that is the same size for half the price at a different location that is closer to our home. Otherwise, UHaul storage is good!

I tried renting a trailer and storage unit at the Watertown uhaul on Washington street at 7 17am Monday August 7th. I intially conducted my transaction with the GM of the facility. After purchasing a tow hitch for my truck a bearded gentlemen aided with the trailer hookup, after doing the pre inspection on my truck and their trailer. The rear passenger traiker light wouldnt work. After he tested my trailer connector and checking fuses. It was determined that my wiring was faulty and because the trailer lights wouldnt operate properly i was not able to rent due to saftey. So i rented a 15ft box truck full price and got a refund on the trailer. Rented a storage unit(no free month they are advertising). I left their truck on the lot and I took the my truck to the mechanic, picked up my wife,and had the same wiring tested. Our mechanic determined that my wiring was properly functioning. So i arrived back around 8:09am at the facility and had informed the GM that my truck wiring was fine and brought up the trailer, i was told because he didnt want to go through another refund and rent me out a trailer which started out at 14.95 that he didnt want to tie up anymore money. Which isnt his place to spend my money. I ended up paying 60 dollars for the truck for 22 hrs. I recently stepped down as the ASM of Piggly Wiggly down the road from the facility and have rented trucks from there before. I feel like not offering something for the hassle and obvious lack of empathy for the confusion their employee started and having a Store Leader tell you they dont want do something and then offer no other solution(s). I'm gonna point out that their sign out front states that they are "under new managment". Management for the WIN!

My hitch was installed the same day. It did take a little extra time because some of the hardware they received was incorrect. They were able to get the items locally and my hitch was installed before end of day. So no serious complaint. The staff were easy to deal with and did get my job done. Had they checked to see if everything was there prior to my appointment it would have saved time and complication. But again,the hitch was installed and I was out by 3 P.M.

I believe that when I dropped the truck off at the location today that I was talking with the owner of the store. I explained to him the situation with the two different issues with the truck that I was dropping off and he said that he would have his mechanic look at it but if it was something that they could not fix then he would send it down to Syracuse for repairs. I also explained that I had called the regional support office to make them aware of the issues as well and he was very appreciative of the information. I will continue to work with Uhaul in the future because they are very customer service oriented and as a former customer service representative that is very important for me!!

Tire blew. Horrible experience. No one had a tire to replace. Customer service was ok but not enough communication. 5 hours on side of interstate before finally getting someone to show up. Very un organized and should not have had outcome like that if company really cared about their customers. Had to be towed to a U-Haul to get permission to take a tire off another trailer. The tow truck guys were great. Total delay was 7 hours. No acceptable. Never again.

I used this facility for 6 years and would have continued to for another 3 years had the price not continually increased without any services provided to justify such increases. The greed is too much. We’re all just trying to survive in this economy. But I will NOT be not ripped off by any company/business just because you can.

Rented the unit for storage, upon arrival, could not get into unit via card, then unit rented to us was already being used. We had a trailer full of belongings for that unit and had no where to store them! Very disappointed! Staff offered to get us a unit further away! I suggest to your company that units are checked before renting them out by physically going and looking at them, not depending on a computer!

It's a small population who needs a storage facility for 24 hours or less. I was that population. I was urgently leaving a dangerous situation. I understand that I shouldn't get a full refund but half or a partial refund would have really helped. I had to also pay $2,150 for moving my clothes to another state, via moving company and for a flight home. I was over 1,000 miles away from home. You can show that you support women who are strong enough to leave a violent situation with a man by at least meeting us hallway. That would be a nice way to encourage women who make the choice to leave a violent man. Many women are in dangerous situations with men who won't allow them to leave or make it very difficult for them to leave. Many die in making the choice to leave. My boyfriend was screaming at me and my movers while on your property, while in full Army fatigue..He tried to scare and intimidate us all. Your staff was kind and friendly through it all. He left me on the property and they told me that I was fine to stay as long as I needed, until close. I was calling a Lyft but my boyfriend ultimately came back. I appreciate you all for the quick and professional service..thank you for setting up my unit so quickly. Your staff deserves a raise. They perfectly represented the Uhual brand. I've been a customer for many years in several different states.

The staff IS AMAZING! However, the storage unit has alot of water damage done to the ceiling with insulation falling down. There are many holes in this unit which means the mice will have a fun time! I have too much time and $ invested in the products I have made for my business, to let it get all destroyed. I will however use them for a van or truck rental as needed. I do understand that the units are older, but I just can't take the chance. Thank you!

I’ve had a unit at this site since August of 2019 and have moved half way across the world all the while. I felt completely reassured that my belongings were taken cared of at this U-Haul location. I was always offered help when faced with financial inconveniences, and the service I was provided was nothing short of excellent the entire stay of my rental. For this, I am eternally grateful and am a proud forever-customer.

None of this is convenient. My wife had a reservation for a truck to move my family to Ohio from New York. We ended up having to rent a tiny space to store our belongings, of which only half fit- the other half of our stuff is at a neighbors garage. Now, we must press on to Ohio with only what we can carry in our two SUV's, including our 2 small children with carseats. This has cost us so much. So much money. So much stress. So much time to struggle and try to find a solution. We simply cannot afford $2,500 for a Penske truck. This is just poor etiquette. Don't tell someone you have a truck for them to move in if you indeed do not have a truck. Appearantly, this has happened to other people quite often. Fix it.

You changed the locks without any notice so we tried our key it wouldn't work. We had driven 3 hrs to empty the locker asked staff to help us thought it was the lock it wasn't. After waiting over an hour finally an outside person cut the lock off. This unit has no seals or caulk on the end and all the cattail fluff ended up inside along with many spiders dead and live. Lots of things we would have taken were garbage. Not good customer service.

The owner was amazing and such a huge help! I had to put my entire house into storage at the last minute and the accommodated me accordingly and explained in detail what I should put into heated storage. Super nice, friendly, informative, helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

The lock on one of our units was accidentally cut by another customer. That customer notified the staff at uhaul. We were never notified, our unit was left without a lock for months before we returned several months later to find our lock missing and the shavings of where it was cut on the floor. Because this was one of several units at this facility, we are not aware at this time if anything was taken. I do believe uhaul had a responsibility to contact us. We purchased all four locks on our units from them. They really should have replaced the cut one. Overall our experience with this uhaul was very good and we would rent equipment and storage from them again 5182312662
