Customer service rep at Washington store was very helpful and kind
WILLIAM MThe 20ft. box truck we rented with 146,000 miles road walked a little. Good enough for us with local rental, but I wouldn't want to drive it long distances.
BRADLEY DEverything was exceptional. The check in took only a few minutes and checking out was even quicker.

DANIEL AStaff was extremely friendly and helpful and made my moving experience smoother than expected.
TRISTAN SFriendly staff. I checked the van was clean but it really had something white on the seats. And on the passenger side floor. Other than that it was clean for a leased moving vehicle.
CYNTHIA CI was not happy with the girl when I called back there to let them know. I did not need the dolly I paid for and I thought you had to take the insurance which I was not informed. Both of these was not part of the price. It was extrawhen I left the customer she was helping was not able to use a credit card so she was bringing cash for his purchase so she asked if they need a dolly hesaid yes so because the guy was paying with cash she said I'll just take the dolly off he said he need it if she didn't charge his girl for the dolly and I could swear on my life I did not use the dolly. They should be able to credit me that dolly fee of $10 back and I had the truck back in two hours not eight hours so I should be refunded the $15 insurance also I would appreciate the $25 credit. I am on a fixed income.
ANTHONY LMy dad dropped the trailer back off for me. He has no complaints, so I can't truly speak to the drop off location. But Uhaul needs to know that they need to up the inventory game. That was extremely inconvenient!
Crystal CI had a great experience. There was nothing noteworthy that requires attention.

SCOTT AI reserved the tow Dolly online, when I arrived at the store in Washington I was greeted with a professional. He had me in and out Dolly hooked up and down the road in a very short time. The equipment worked as it should.
JESSE OYour customer service reps that work in this facility are not pleasant people. A little kindness and a smile on your face goes a long way. Also the chargers are not thoroughly explained to you.
PATRICIA BThe app was absolutely horrible. First off maybe in your email confirmation you let people know they should come half hour before pick up time to get truck because the process is absolutely horrible with the app. Wasted half hour of my rental time and had to extend because every 30 seconds the app would refresh and take me back to the home page. Then when I returned the app said park car and drop off keys. It was not until I dropped keys off the app refreshed and told me to take all these photos so I had to get a worker to get the keys back out. The app is very very bad at processing
Michael SThis was an older truck, although everything worked fine. The truck could have been cleaner; cup holders and parts of the interior were pretty sticky.
MICHAEL MThis location was just a wonderful experience for this ole southern gal of 72 with my reservation and all details of where I was going to, miles etc etc. Been a few moons ago that I had driven one of the trucks but lucky me that 15ft and I got along mighty fine!! The young lady that was with me from the time I picked up and days later returned was so caring and VERY HELPFUL ( KAREN ) I certainly hope the U-Haul Company realizes she is a KEEPER!!!'THANKS SO MUCH 960 Washington Rd Washington, PA 15301

DEBORAH FThe destination location was clean and bright! I even commented on that to the guy at the counter. He was friendly and helpful and very observant! He noticed I was using the full-sized trailer and not the tow dolly as was written on my receipt. He verified that I had the right equipment, though and we were all set.

RICHARD SI am sorry that I didn't get their names, but the man with the beard and the lady that worked on Monday October 7, 2024 at the Washington PA location were EXTREMY NICE!!!! There were like 10 vehicles in the drop lane, so I felt bad that I had to double park. Their workload seemed overbearing, but they were both upbeat, patient, understanding, helpful, and just overall made me feel like an appreciated customer! I hope U-haul takes the time to thank them! It's because of employees like those two that make the whole process successful. Though it was a lot of work, this U-haul experience was a blessing to our family at a time that we needed you most! Billie HWhen discussing drop off location, please have the U-Haul representative help the customer find a drop off location that will take the rental. Not all locations take everything. This would have saved us a lot of last minute scrambling and stress.
DAVID MUnfortunately to get in and out of the location can be a chore depending on which direction you're coming from. You have to pass by the location and drive 1/4 - 1/2 mile, make a U turn and then head back. The only real issue!

crystal h | Overall ExperienceWhen I reserved my Uhaul, I also reserved a storage unit that I was told would be free for one month since I was doing a one-way trip drop off. When I arrived at Uhaul, the customer service person told me only units on the top floor--accessible only by stairs--qualified for the free month. We had heavy furniture and could not carry it up the stairs. The customer service person said that was their policy--even though I was never informed that this was the case, and would have probably found other arrangements. I had to purchase a unit because I had no other options at that point. I feel defrauded and will never recommend this Uhaul and will warn anyone who asks about my experience and the fraudulent nature of your services.

HE is the reason for the excellent rating from me! He is awesome! Treat him right!! Please compensate him for the time he stayed over to help me. He'd already clocked out when he saw I needed help, but STILL helped me. Such a gem!
Billie H | First ImpressionsRented a 1st floor unit, and a 2nd floor unit that we emptied out a year+ ago, and both were clean, dry and heated. 1st floor more convenient to get items into and out of, but 2nd floor access was steps only. I thought the prices were high, and I'm pretty sure they went up during our 2 yr rental. No issues with move out. Very easy.

Because we had to take what was available. The woman working did give us a lock for free but my husband wasnt happy at all.

Stephenie R | First ImpressionsThe staff are not the issue. They are friendly and helpful but this location is short staffed for the volume of business. I came here with a UBox. The day I received an email that it had arrived, I drove down to the location. The staff informed me that generally I should make arrangements a day in advance to access my belongings since they have to move the UBoxrs with a forklift. While not ideal, I took some things and returned home. I then tried calling multiple times the next day to arrange for access for the remainder of the items. The phones at this location seem to be on permanent call forwarding to the call center. Once that happens, you might as well cancel all plans for the day as they never pick up. I then called traffic who said they would send an email to have them call me. I received no call. If the staff doesn't have time to answer a phone, they probably don't have time to read email. I can't make arrangements a day in advance if I can't speak to someone. I called corporate, they said they apologize but they are open until 8:00pm if I want to drive down to see if they could help. In order to have reasonable access to my belongings, I ended up driving down in the evening and renting a space on the 2nd floor and unloading my UBox into it at a higher cost. Bad form U-Haul Management, bad form.

I was clear in telling them several times it was for a riding lawn mower. He said it was ok. I picked up the mower an 2 hours away and brought it to the storage unit only to find it wouldn't fit through the door. So I told the clerk and he said there is nothing he could do.

Let me tell you! The restroom was immaculate and welcoming. It was the best away game I ever had at a public restroom! The price of storage is worth the restroom alone! THANK YOU UHAUL!!

Also recently when they would no longer keep the door open or open it no one seemed to know what was going on. A few weeks ago I stopped and they opened the door and said nothing. Yesterday they asked about my passcode which j never got and af first she had no clue what to do. And when she looked at my account she asked if I set up in line and I have been there almost. 5 years.

The guy that helped said your estimated total will be $109. And some change he Said the exact amount. Heres a paper showing we didnt charge you yet. When I got in the car my bank statement showed I was charged. And also charged another fee I don't know what it was for. I had to call the uhaul number was on hold for a few minutes the lady on there seemed like she didnt want to do much about it bc it was after hours when we got back to the storage unit. Well suddenly the guy that helped showed up out of no where and said "you probably can't get in, I forgot to show you this part" I said we figured that out but there's still a lock on my unit,you provided me. He said "oh is there". After we got everything unloaded n I self returned the car...my final bill was $169. I will never go there again.
