There was a trailer hitch. That was left in the back. Of the truck. I told the representatives. Apparently the truck. Was not. Inspected before it became into my possession. So I do believe. That truck was not. Well maintained or cleaned.Ricky C.

The cashier was extremely rude and the vehicle was not cleaned out. There was old food and sunflower seeds still on the floor around the drivers seat and the cabin area. Your staff members do not sanitize these vehicles at all which is extremely dangerous and unprofessional considering how many hands the vehicles go through. This is such a bad practice of customer service. I feel that someone in upper management should be doing surprise inspections for cleanliness of vehicles to ensure customer safety and quality of services. Lastly the cashier was very rude and unprofessional for the reason of arguing with my wife and i about our updated drop off time for the rental vehicle and him texting while on the clock. He should NOT be utilizing company time for personal reasons of cellphone usage. I'm sure management would agree.Ghmal M.

REIMBURSE THE CUSTOMER FOR OVERFILLING YOUR TRUCKS SINCE THERE IS NO FUEL TANK CAPACITY INFORMATION. I accidently overfilled the truck past the required amount and wasnt even given any type of option to be reimbursed or at least compensated for a later use.Jabril T.

Not sure if the location is to blame or your online system, probably little of both. When I got there I could not pick up truck online I had to go in. I expected with a reservation the truck to be up close to building and extras already in truck and ready to go, but no! I had to go inside and check in and he brought the dolly out to me and I took it to the truck located at the farthest point from the building!Michael B.

Make sure gas and mileage readings are accurate. I checked out a vehicle the mileage on the paperwork was lower than the mileage on the vehicle dashboard. The uhaul agent said I should change it on the link sent to my phone but the link don't work. It does not allow you upload photos and without photos you cannot make any approve changes.Musa N.

When I rented the unit I set up auto pay with Bret And gave my credit card information Yet I was charged a late fee. When I called I was told by the calling service that it was nothing they could do. Brakes on truck in poor condition. Truck had 146k miles. Well worn .Ed E.
Took me awhile to find where the entrance was as there was no one around when I showed for my appointment and one of the entrances was locked. The app to document vehicle damage was a joke and would have taken 30-60 minutes to complete if I hadn't given up and told staff I was not going to complete it. There were scratches and dents all over the vehicle with none previously noted and somehow it was my responsibility to photograph and upload every one so as not to be charged at drop-off time. The photos provided in the app were taken so far away from the vehicle, shot into the sun and in shadow that you could not see any damage. The app kept kicking me out and did not allow me to go backwards or forward and forced me to restart 3 or four times at which time I gave up. I needed to add a 2nd day to my rental when I did not complete my move in time. The reservation center told me the only charges would be an extra day rate with "no additional charges." However when I returned the vehicle the next day, all charges were doubled including being charged twice for dolly rental and insurance rate. At that point I was too tired to argue, paid the overcharges and walked out.Greg S.

I had an awesome experience at your newer facility in Trotwood. I am impressed by the pricing, the layout and the innovative pickup drop off convenience of the truck and easy storage options. I didn't have any issues until I passed the office hours. Around 7:05 my boyfriend tried to ask about the 24/7 service if it applied for the return of the truck. They completely ignored him while he stood at the entrance waving at the 3 employees inside. He asked me to give a shot as he returned to help us unloading the truck inside the drop off interior area. I then went and stood waving for 5 minutes. I had the lady give me the wait signal with one finger. Another gentle looked at me and said something to the gentleman who helped me with setting up my storage (after 6pm). The gentle who helped me with my storage looked me dead in my face twice and later walked around the counter and turned his back on purpose. It's understood that the office hours were over. But I had a very simple question. Does U-Haul 24/7 option apply to my purchase. I called customer service and held for over10 minutes just to ask a simple question. I pray I have no other issues with my belongings being in their care. All was great except for unprofessional behavior, may train employees to explain the 24/7 option when close to closing.Dominique T. | First Impressions

When we got to the storage unit we couldn't use the number to get into our unit, besides that I ask for a 10/20 unit and they gave me 10/10 unit.
