Wound up in the hospital during my rental and still got excellent service from Barney's store! Barnhill. Appreciate ya ðŸ'¯. Will be back. Downside? Gas was at 1/8 tank. Csr when I was GM on Salem ave would have been called out:Drew Case vs mark quinn? Dunno but I put $25 in and still went less than the 50 miles!

Everyone was nice, very knowledgeable. Fair prices, we had cash for a pickup truck and they only take cards for the pick ups so we had to unfortunately rent a 10" truck which I feel like $100 is a little steep considering the truck is $20 to rent and we traveled 30 miles. But w.e it was an ok experience.

The only thing i had a issue with was that my bill gets paid on 27 August of the month i move out on the 2 of September i asked them would i get anything back because i didn't use the month they told me well if i would had moved out on the same of my bill i would have gotten something back i just pretty much lost a whole $110 because they don't pro-rate unless i would have moved out sooner i don't think that was fare or right

I picked a $19 truck for a few hours. It was estimated at $33 for a local move. I ended up with $48+. How exactly did I go from $19 to over $48? There are hidden fees that simply don't exist with competitors, such as Home Depot rentals.

The wheel on the trailer had loose lugnuts and the tire almost came off when driving down the interstate. I tightened them but had to drive real slow as the tire still had a small wobble. I also had to stop a few times to make sure the lugnuts were still tight. Because of having to go slower, it caused me to go over into a second day of rental by an hour and a half so I had to pay for an additional day.

I arrived at the location and found my truck, but the utility dolly I had rented and already prepaid for online was not in the truck. I went in the store and asked about it. The associate got one for me, and asked me if I needed an appliance dolly as well. I decided to rent one. He told me it would be $10. I gave him a $20 bill. He loaded both dollies onto my truck, took me to his car where he had a $10 bill, and gave me that as change. I returned to the truck to find another representative unloading the appliance dolly from my truck, telling me it wasn't in my order. I explained I had just rented it for $10. He said the price is $12, there is no record of my transaction with the first associate, and I can't have it. His attitude was unapologetic. After some complaining and pleading on my part, I convinced him to track down the first associate and was able to get my money back for the appliance dolly. I was going to pay $2 more to rent it, but the associate had moved on to the next customer. After waiting 5 minutes and still not being helped, I could not afford to wait any longer and gave up on renting the appliance dolly after all. Terrible experience.

Don't send people 40 miles out of their way for a truck and don't send them to the wrong location the first time. 48 out of 70 of the miles I had to pay for were because I was told I was getting a truck from one location instead of the other. I would of asked for a different location if I knew I would of had to go that far.

My storage unit had a leak and I had chase the manager for a week just for him to do an inspection. Once I moved all my stuff out and took my lock off the put a zip tie on my unit before I could cancel. So I was paying but didn't have access to the unit.

The owner was very rude. We moved out of our unit so I came in to cancel the unit most things that you don't use a full month for companies prorate that he failed to mention any event to me went out to check the unit came back in then I ask him about the prorating since they just drafted my account on the ninth and the move out date was the 18th he said sorry we don't prorate anything so I proceeded to tell him not to cancel it then I wasn't gonna lose $100That we would keep it until the following month he pulled a paper out of the printer laid it on the desk and said sorry I've already checked you out that's pretty crappy of a business that you can't Prorate something that someone is not using

The truck got the job done but it sounded and drove like it would fall apart at any moment. It was fine for a local job but I wouldn't want to go cross-country in it. The staff was great; friendly, helpful, efficient. The office was clean and well-maintained. I would go back if I needed a rental.

My only complaint is them not having a phone number at the branch i was trying to call. Every time i tried to call it was a call center that put me on hold for at least 30 minutes each time & then told me i would be transfured to scheduleing & then was disconnected. It was easier to drive to the center, wait my turn then talk to someone in person.

The tire sensor was going off. After checking the pressure it was okay. Then the error message said service tire pressure system. Since I have those in my car I was less apprehensive once I had checked the pressure. Sometimes they are faulty. I think another customer not familiar would have been nervous. Called service or returned the equipment which would ruin the timing for their trip and that is sensitive in this type transaction.

It's apparent this location needs retraining. The amount of mistakes made with my entire account are unbelievable. I cannot believe businesses run this way. No worries will never use uhaul again an if I have anything to do with it nobody else will either. Worst experience of my life and it's costing me over $2,000.00………absolutely mortifying. I don't even know where to begin so I rented a truck as well as a Ubox to ship across the country….. truck problems,,,, Ubox destroyed….so I was forced to keep the truck overnight as it was full of my stuff and they had no box for me…. So instead of having one sent to the location they tell me I have to drive 20 miles to a different location to load it there…. They charged me for this mileage as well…. Keep in mind I reserved both the truck and Ubox weeks in advance. Even went into store and talk to GM and he assured me everything would go smoothly on my move date……so now that I had to wait till another day I no longer have help moving and loading this container…….. they never closed the first contract…. As well as they charged my card for someone else's Ubox ……..I I have 1 container but there are 3 in my account….. it just keeps getting worse …….still waiting for all my issues to be resolved but you sit on phone for 30+ minutes and then you get bounced around and then told your waiting for a phone call 3-5 business days…….if I were you I would not only not go here I would not use Uhaul at all……they will literally give you a heart attack

When we arrived to pick up the vehicle there was some confusion over the reservation. When asked for the phone number to locate the reservation our driver opened his phone to look it up and the employee at the counter rudely stated "I'm asking you a question, put your phone away" when the driver confirmed he was looking up the phone number the employee did not apologize or change their tone. Additionally we were given a truck that was on empty with the instruction "you better head right to a gas station on your wont make it far at all, there's no gas in it." We rent trucks frequently in the summer to move or set pieces and props for shows, we will never use this location again and would strongly advise any other theatre company to stay away from the Trotwood location. The service and the equipment were both unacceptable.

My negative experience has nothing to do with the Trotwood location. The guy who helped me was actually very nice and got me laughing after being stressed out from my original reservation never being handled and never being notified that there was no truck for me on Friday 7/23/21. I had to drive 39 minutes out of the way Saturday afternoon and ended up with the biggest truck that was falling apart, then in order to even get that truck I had to do a round-trip and waste $140 in gas driving it to my destination and then drive it back empty. Then I was told that since it was uhauls fault that I didn't have to worry about mileage since I had to drive it back. So I was charged another $13-$14 for overage. The fact that I had to spend $140 in gas because they never scheduled my smaller truck is ridiculous. It was only a 2 hour 45 min drive one way. Plus 40 minutes to pick up the truck to drove 40 minutes back to just pack it before we could head to Toledo Ohio/Temperance, Michigan. I have moved more than 20 times so far in my life and have always used Uhaul. I can't believe no one called to inform us there was no truck for us ahead of time so we could try to figure something out.

I payed for my storage by automatic payment 1 week before my move to my new house. When I requested a credit back they said no. I also rented a uhaul so I can clear my storage locker, I was given a broken vehicle. If "I was not persuaded to buy the 14 dollar vehicle coverage I would have had to pay for someone else damages on the vehicle. With my own eyes I saw uhaul charge a lady two times for storage yesterday. It is not right to steal and uhaul stole, that's why I will not recommend this to anyone.

My name had been entered into system incorrectly. Everytime I went in to pay it took 15 to 20 min just to find my account. Twice I was double charged a late fee and was told sorry that's just how the system calculates. I feel that this was the poorest choice I could have made for storage. I will never use this specific uhaul location ever again. I am disgusted with how they handled my situation knowing they were in the wrong. I spoke with over 10 people in regards to my situation and they still railroaded me with fees that weren't valid because they can do what they choose. I will continue to share my experience with anyone who asks just to make sure they steer clear of this facility and the crappy operating system. Beyond inconvenient and then they hold you accountable. I'm glad I'll never deal with these people again!! Good riddance!!

Very clean facilities. The only complaint is the lack of lighting and motion sensors in our area. The nearest sensor was not pointed out by staff upon the initial inspection of our unit but we figured it out later. I would have assumed motion sensors would be on each main aisle to turn on lights as you walk towards back of the facility. I am very impressed with your facility and staff and love that you have repurposed a business for Trotwood. Great job!

I dropped the trailer off after hours and it was a little challenging unhooking the trailer while looking around making sure no one was walking up on me. But other that my exoerience was great

I had an awesome experience at your newer facility in Trotwood. I am impressed by the pricing, the layout and the innovative pickup drop off convenience of the truck and easy storage options. I didn't have any issues until I passed the office hours. Around 7:05 my boyfriend tried to ask about the 24/7 service if it applied for the return of the truck. They completely ignored him while he stood at the entrance waving at the 3 employees inside. He asked me to give a shot as he returned to help us unloading the truck inside the drop off interior area. I then went and stood waving for 5 minutes. I had the lady give me the wait signal with one finger. Another gentle looked at me and said something to the gentleman who helped me with setting up my storage (after 6pm). The gentle who helped me with my storage looked me dead in my face twice and later walked around the counter and turned his back on purpose. It's understood that the office hours were over. But I had a very simple question. Does U-Haul 24/7 option apply to my purchase. I called customer service and held for over10 minutes just to ask a simple question. I pray I have no other issues with my belongings being in their care. All was great except for unprofessional behavior, may train employees to explain the 24/7 option when close to closing.

the owner said he would be in all the next day until close and wasn't i wanted to speak to him because he is very nice got another man that was not very nice im 37weeks pregnant and needed a storage room that was convenient in the front of the unit he stated he couldn't do that so I had to walk pretty far i was not too happy about that and if you wanted 24 access you had to pay more.

The guy who assisted me when above and beyond ! I really appreciated it. Every making sure I had a closer unit as I am 6 months pregnant. He even was helpful before I decided on the storage unit. He helped me carry boxes to my car. Did I mention he handled this all alone while serving each customer to the highest level. Even fixing my storage card when it wasn't working.

I will never use UHaul storage ever again. Worse experience I've ever had. When we got to the storage unit we couldn't use the number to get into our unit, besides that I ask for a 10/20 unit and they gave me 10/10 unit. We had to wait 3 hours to get in touch with Jeremy which meant I had to pay extra for my movers costing me more money than I had. Just the worse experience EVER!!!!!
