Made a reservation on May 4 for a 26 ft and a auto transport online supposed to have someone call me on May 20th a day before picking the equipment and never did had to go to the dealer and find out on what location was I supposed to pick up the equipment they checked everything just to find out they didn't have a 26ft truck only a 20ft was available and no auto transport, end up getting the truck in that location and drove it all the way to Waterfort Uhaul dealer for the auto transport that was over 100 miles wasted on my miles limit, at the end of the day i ended up renting a 6x12 enclosed trailer because the 20ft was to small just to load a washer and drier and a stove on it spend a lot of money and time just because they didnt have nothing ready with a little bit over of two weeks in advance now they tell me well a 26 ft is to difficult to get because people always rent them!! I think that if UHAUL dont have them let people know there NOT AVAILABLE its that simple don wait to the last minute to let people know and force them to rent more equipment than needed its too much stress knowing that you don't have the equipment ready with time in advance when you need to move out and drive 1600+ milesbriseida E.

Stop the gas issue. Prior rentals from this location led me back here, however, I will go elsewhere next time. 1. The gas gauge was overstated on my rental so I came right back in and she said she would correct and resend contract, she never did. When I returned, I made sure to have it just a bit over how it was given to me. Imagine my surprise when she brought in my checkout paperwork and she hd marked the gas gauge higher than how I returned it!!! I will make sure to let people know of this practice at that location. 2. Make sure that non-usb ported trucks offer a refundable rental of charger! I needed my phone for the navigation there and back. Once in the truck and prepping to leave, I had to go back in store for the gas issue and then again to be charged for a cigarette lighter type USB adapter. In today's world that is absurd. 3. The clerk was not friendly and inviting, but I understand in these times you have to hire anyone to keep your doors open. I wasted too much time during this rental. I will not be going to the Taylor Telegraph location again and will be seeking out other truck rental companies. I will also make sure my friends/family know of such practices.Barbara A.

Had to wait in a long line. Truck wasn't totally clean. But fine enough. Pictures were hard to see any potential damage beforehand, there should be a scale on cleanliness. Had to wait 40 minutes in line to pick up my reserved truck because only one person was working and the website I was supposed to use to pick up the truck kept crashing. At drop off there was another line so I used a the drop box. I was charged a $97 fuel charge when I only drove 27 miles, when I reached out about the charge I never received a response back.Timothy D.
The scheduling department messed everything up. They delivered empty containers while my loaded containers were still at the Taylor location. It took 2 days before the scheduling department understood that my loaded boxes needed delivered and that I didn't need empty one's. I was charged twice for delivery. I am confident I was arrogantly discriminated against! I ask for the owner contact information, not provided! I have (most recently) used this location while relocating. The staff is not consistent in how they interact with individuals (perceived) from a racial perspective! There was an issue with the mileage and the gas was empty when I got in and I asked the Owner about both he made the mileage adjustment in the computer he said and when I returned it there was no change and It was over a 1000 miles that I would've been responsible for If I hadn't asked the return attendant about it before I left. First of all I specifically asked for a 19.99 truck, instead they gave me what they wanted to give me, which was a 29.99 truck. I actually didn't notice until my niece said something. I then looked at my paperwork and sure enough I was charged $29.99. Second, I dropped off the truck earlier than I expected and was charged an additional $20.00 fee for not checking the truck in which I had never had to do. I was always told to park it and put the keys in the lock box. So yeah definitely won't be going back there. I will find another company to rent through. These things should have been explained during my time of reservation. The clerk was too busy laughing and talking to her co-workers instead of tending to the customer. Definitely not professional. When I arrived at the Drop-Off Location the areas were labeled, so I knew exactly where to go. I appreciated this because I had just arrived to a whole new state. When I parked in the designated area I witnessed Christopher Caruso assisting another customer. Christopher was prompt, yet efficient. When Christopher finished with his customer he approached my vehicle. He asked me a few questions to verify and to make sure everything went safe and well on my trip. He walked around my vehicle and before I knew it, he was back at my window telling me thank you and to have a great day. Christopher worked quickly and I am appreciative of his customer service. 1st had scheduled for uhaul and appliance dolly they didn't have the dolly available and offered a regular utility dolly saying I wouldn't be charged. Then I get truck checked everything and didn't realize the dolly wasn't there... went back had to wait over 30 minutes tore I've. Then upon returning the rental I still got charged. I rented a trailer to move my child from their apartment subsequent to the recent school semester term. The taylor location has again mis-charged me. They double billed me when I moved him in last year, and this time they added an after-hours charge when I returned the trailer 2 hours prior to closing. The issue is primarily that this is a waste of time and frustrating. I will not utilize the Taylor location for my next trailer rental and would not recommend them. Better communication with corporate. Our truck broke down with a full tank of gas (our cost) and delayed our move a day. Roadside towed it away but for two additional days I had To field calls from your team requesting me to return the truck that had already been towed away by Uhaul roadside assistance. Their checkout system was not working properly when I arrived, which delayed the checkout process, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and figured it out. My only hesitation to rate 5 stars is that my original reservation (at a different location) was unable to be fulfilled, which left me having to drive 45 minutes further to get this trailer.Justin R.

They do a great job in keeping the storage area clean. During several days, I kept running into the cleaning person who was busily mopping the floors. When I first moved items into the storage units, they were both very clean. I'm a repeat customer of this U-Haul Moving and Storage facility in Taylor, MI. They have consistently provided me the highest quality of services. My most recent experience with them involved renting a storage room for home goods I was giving to family I have in Marion, OH and in Traverse City, MI. Being able to store items at the same location I could rent a trailer for moving these home goods was a game changer. The storage area was very secure and clean. Plus, the friendly staff were extremely helpful and effective in all of our business transactions. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service they provided me. I didn't however like the fact I was getting emails and phone calls for 8 months afterwards that I owe for a unit I had moved out of. When a worker had walked me to the unit I paid him an extra $10 to remove the one nightstand I left there because I didn't know where to throw it out. One of the staff members I worked with was great, so I didn't want to say no to that question. Their name was Billie I believe? The main person I worked with (Her name escapes me) I had worked with before and she is extremely slow and seems like she does not want to be there. She said she had a headache, but I remember her being this way when I got a truck rental there before. The process is archaic. For my contact info, I needed to give 2 phone numbers to reach me. No one has a house phone anymore so I gave my boyfriend's cell phone number. Then I was told I needed a secondary contact, so I use his name and told her it's the same phone number I just gave. I'm then told I cannot have the same phone numbers, so I changed my second phone number to my dad, then needed to give my boyfriends address which was the same as mine and that wasn't allowed. I had reserved a unit ahead of time thinking it would cut back my time, it took me literally 30 minutes to go through this process in person... it was extremely frustrating.Krystal S. | First Impressions
