To begin with, if you reserve an equipment to a customer, asks the customer to confirm availability at 530pm before coming to pick, the customer acknowledges and follow YOUR obstructions, then leave work to come rent the equipment, YOU SHOULD have that equipment and NOT rent it out to another customer that got to the store 5 minutes before me. I ended up paying way more than u should because you didn't communicate and respect a commitment already made. We rented a 10x20 warehouse at the facility in Sunrise. Based on our renting of truck the warehouse was supposed to be free for the first month. when we were there no warehouse available 10x20 and no reservation. We also paid the insurance. Set up a standard return procedure and post it for all customers to see. Don't make us stand in line and be told a set of confusing instructions which, as it turns out were not correct Also reminding staff that they are customer service and should not be rude, short and unfriendlyrobert S.
I the fuel amount was higher than what the gage should and was to be corrected. I was charged for gas that was not needed since I returned with the actually amount shown on the gage. Trailer was very old and did not have jack to put it on the ball and had to be lifted by hand on and off. I was sent to randomly look for the Trailer twice before finally being directed to where the Trailer was located. Very time consuming check out process. Return was easier. I was also charged for insurance which I declined so all in all I received very poor service, dated and extremely worn equipment and was overcharged.Bertram W.

This location saved the day! U-Haul books a guaranteed reservation at another location. When I arrived, no truck. 2 hours later a larger truck was available at this location. I drove further to get the truck than the move of my storage unit, but at least I had a truck! U-Haul's reservation process is horrible. Reminded me of the Seinfeld episode! They know how to â€œtakeâ€ the reservation, just not how to â€œkeepâ€ the reservation!Randall L.

I still have never been able to complete my online check in from my phone. Most unpleasant, as it takes multiple trys for it to find my location even though the location is all on. (Connection glitch) and i enter milage do gas thing, take the pic, and it never goes through, I literally redo that pic taking process and it goes back to the start. I then get frustrated and order my ride home. I rent every weekend and wish this would operate for me.Richard O.

I want to take this time to commend Ms Maureen Smart for providing me with exceptional customer service. She went over and above when it came to assisting me. I walked in and they were swamped with returns that were already accounted for. Ms Smart greeted me and explained she will be right with me from there I by her tone I know I was in good hands. I rent uhauls every week and this is now my primary location because not only did she exhausted all options to get me a truck her manager was just as dedicated to ensuring I was helped. When I picked up the equipment only one person was working. There were two people ahead of me and during my stay five people came in after. He was doing his best but one person can't handle that many people efficiently. He was very good at directing people so that they didn't have to wait. Returning my truck had two people working the desk and even fewer people in the waiting room. That gravelly voiced man was excellent.BRYAN M.

My storage was reserved and given away to someone else before I arrived I was sent to multiple locations in search of a unit. I was forced to use the biggest most expensive unit because after uhual inconvenienced me they had me pay two times what I would've if the unit I originally reserved had been ready and available to me as I was told when confirming my reservation and order. The service is now being done by the customer, they have to check there vehicles conditions, mileage, gas . Before you provided service now the agents simply sit back and tell the customer to go on site and do all the work that U- haul use to provide. I had reserved my pick up at a location it was near my house. The night before I received an email which I had not opened because I was busy packing that they had change the location of my pick up. This was very inconvenient as it was a distance away. I was charged extra for going over the miles which I would not have done if I hadn't had to go A different location. I was also charge for bringing the truck back late what I would not have done if I didn't have to travel 30 minutes each way out of my way and waited an hour to pick up the truck. The change of location put me behind two hours and I was an hour late returning the truck. How is this fair!?PATRICK D.

We paid for a unit on Friday and when we needed it on Saturday they had freshly paved around the units and couldn't be driven on. We spoke to a representative in person who guaranteed access on Sunday. When we called to see about unloading into our unit on Sunday morning they said it was still not available. This inconvenience was never communicated with me and caused serious problems as we had people lined up to help with the move on Saturday. We had to park the trailer overnight Saturday and when we tried to access our paid unit on Sunday it was still "not available". We requested a refund and the representative advised up to 10 business days to process which I feel is unacceptable. We were so upset that we found another company to do business with for a more reasonable rate. We were very unsatisfied with our experience with the location at 4747 N Nob Hill. Side note the representative did allow us to use one of the Utility Dolly's for the 2 days free of charge and for that we were thankful.Craig N. | Online Move In
