The young man who checked me in was very knowledgeable, friendly and was able to make sure that I had everything I needed for my unit. I was back-and-forth several times to the unit and every time I saw him he had a smile for me and always made me feel safe and welcome. When I made my reservation, I was told I could pick up the truck an hour before the store opened by using the 24/7 Truck Share check in on my smartphone. When I arrived at the store at 9:15 am, the app told me my order was switched to in person pickup. So I had to wait for 45 minutes for the store to open. Then had to wait another 20 minutes while the truck was checked in and cleaned before I could take it. This fiasco caused my movers to have to wait around for me for an hour 15 minutes.JEFFREY C.

The initial location I reserved, did not have any employees there and the did not return my call after initial contact. I had to wait 15 minutes at the next location for the employee to finish using the bathroom. The vehicle was very jerky and the check engine light came on right after I picked the vehicle up. Call in customer service was excellent, but I would have hated to be on a deadline.STARISK W.

The only complaint I have is that I moved into the unit Nov 1, and out on the 13th. I paid for a month in advance. I was told at checkout, that they do not refund partial payments. I was due over $120. There is no way I am paying for something I'm not getting full use of.. Especially in todays economy. I am not even sure this is legal, and will pursue further if I dont get my money back. I need my money back, asap. Clerk that served us was rude. Had her child of maybe 2 or 3 years old at work with her and couldn't do her job for taking care of him. We had reserved and paid for a dolly. She told us they don't have dolly's at that location. Couldn't do anything to get us a dolly. Didn't want to give us the mattress covers we had prepaid for even though she had plenty on her display pegs. She finally gave us those. Had also told us they didn't have furniture pads which we had also prepaid for. She finally left her son with us and went and found the pads. Very unprofessional. This was not the location we had reserved our truck at. They moved it a day before pick up to this location. We would never recommend this location. Also, our truck was reserved for 1:30 pickup and they called to ask if we could pick up at 4:30 as it was not ready. Setting us back 3 hours on our loading and causing us to load in the dark. Very disappointed with the Springdale location!!!James D.

The staff was great and I left completely satisfied with my new storage unit. The only thing that was a cause for concern, is due to being active duty military, I was asked for my commanding officer's name and phone number. I was told that this was company policy in the case a service-member is deployed or any situation that would warrant contacting military officials. The reason that this is an issue is because a service-member's commanding officer (CO) changes quite frequently. It's a temporary billet assignment not one permanent person. A better point of contact could possibly be the manpower headquarters element for the particular branch of service. The service-member should be able to generate that information. When I switched my pick up time online, I never received another email that had the new information in it. It was confusing because when I changed the time, it automatically changed the location. Additionally, in the store they said that all pick up trucks had to do an in person check in. But it gave me the option for online when I booked. Just some confusing things about the website! Please state whether or not equipment is available before purchasing. I ordered a utility dolly so I could move my furniture downstairs; however I assumed the dolly was in the back of the uhaul when i picked it up because I heard a lot of noise while driving. It was not. No one called to say anything about the miscommunication. So I called and the lady directed me to go and pick up one from a different location. My car is too small to pick one up so I had to drive the uhaul which resulted in more miles which thus resulted in more charges than anticipated. Which also costed me more time because of traffic. My experience was different for the two locations the equipment was split between. The UHAUL on 3755 Airport Rd rep showed no concern for the inconvenience of not having a dolly with the truck. The purpose of the reservation is to reserve equipment for the appointment. Then the guy told me I couldn't park my vehicle in their parking lot. Now I'm a customer but I cannot park there temporarily. When I raise concerns about not having a dolly to haul my appliances from a 3rd level unit he stated I just need to go find my own dolly from another store. I received not support on this matter. I had to do all the running around myself even though I reserved it. The next split location was in an entire different city it took over and hour to get a dolly makes no sense. I called corporate and the woman I spoke to stated equipment isn't guaranteed so you should expect to not always get what you reserve. I said so inconveniencing the consumers is practice of this company and we should just accept that. She stated I would be contacting in 72 hours. I haven't heard anything as of yet. By the way I paid nearly $300 and that's way to much money to not be compensated or accommodated for anything. Going forward I will not use this company.Vvonaka R.
