When a customer orders a cargo van you don't upgrade them all the way to a 26' box truck! Now I had to pay way more money in gas then I would of originally if I had received the van that I reserved almost 2 months ago! Was told I could pick up the vehicle by checking in on my phone in order to skip the line but when I tried to do that it just said that "no equipment has been assigned to me and to go inside and speak with an associate." These people are a nightmare to work with!! Went inside and had to wait an additional 30+ minutes to get through a line that only had 2 other people in it. I will be seeking reimbursement for all the extra gas money that incurred due to U-hual not having/keeping my reservation and forcing me to take there biggest truck. Then for whatever reason I was told that I couldn't bring the truck back there because it was an International truck or some nonsense. Overall they get a solid 4 thumbs down.

Customer service needs to be upgraded in how they talk to customers. Busy having personal conversations while people are waiting in line and in front on them. Then no greeting, but asks “are you here to pick up?”. Then to top it all off we did everything by the app so we wouldn't have to go through this. Uploaded head shot and driver's license 3 times. Only to have to do it again on the inside. Go to the truck that was assigned in the app, to find out the customer service rep assigned a different truck sandwiched in between another truck, so had to go back in and get them to move it. Very poor experience at this store.

Everything was fine and found my personal items in good condition after being locked inside one of your storage units for two whole months. My personal effects were kept safe and secure, which is also extremely important. The only complaint would be the darkness inside the storage unit itself - no light bulb! And the unit was upstairs, which made it more difficult and strenuous to move things around. Also, we came back on our third trip shortly after 8pm and couldn't get inside the storage building because it was locked. Wasted trip! But I was overall satisfied with the service I received at uHaul!

Rented a 5x8 trailer with a roll top door. The door became stuck in the up position and it required a pry bar to get it closed on my return trip. Next time i will request the doors that swing open rather than roll up.

The personnel were helpful, but The truck was dirty on the inside and outside. The truck was not wiped down on the inside and I would have thought some basic disinfecting would have been done. The exterior of the truck was full of bugs which tells me it was not washed.

Quick & easy checkout experience. Equipment was as advertised ready to go. Dropping off went well too. They have the largest selection in north Houston and Christina runs a tight ship.

I had to drop off after hours, which was fine. But i was unable to complete the online dropoff process. In general, all team members I was able to speak with during the rental process were courteous, professional, and very helpful. But the website was intensely frustrating to use, and at the end of a long and tiring move day i was unable to follow the checkin procedures for after-hours turn-ins. U-Haul's website refused to recognize the drop-off location, and i could not check the vehicle in correctly. It was maddening! Although the “people” part of the process was fine, the online process was poor. Fix the website!

Really wanted to use the app! It appeared the app was working as planned, but at the end of the process wouldn't allow me to finish without another source of verification. I submitted both my phone numbers, scanned driver's license and scanned purchase order...still wouldn't allow me to proceed. Wasted my time and was frustrating. Had to go in to complete the rental. I had to scan my license again evev though the accepted it earlier. Experience after that was fine.

Reserved pickup a day earlier and still got stuck with the biggest gas guzzler yall could get your hands on. I was told that the guy who had the pickup before me called in for an extension amazingly just seconds before I walked in. Of course they then looked all over to find me another pickup. I reserved a single U box container that was packed on August 21st. It was to be delivered September 11. September 4 I was called to verify schedule time and placement (even though I had already filled and uploaded info online) Sept. 11 around 2pm I called to try to find out where my container was, they didn't now except that it was coming on that day. No communication since the 4th that it was not going to arrive as scheduled. I had pay the help that I had scheduled for the unload. I was the one that was constantly reaching out to UHaul to get status. I finally got status that it was coming the 17th (via a helpful person in the Conroe facility) however due to timing I was unable to accommodate that date, since I had anticipated already having my stuff 7 days prior. Shortly there after I as charged a monthly rental fee. Not sure how I was to be charged a monthly rental fee because Uhaul could not get my box to me on-time? I was told delivery would be Sept. 24 between noon and 4 it arrived at 10am luckily I had moved cars so that it could be placed otherwise arriving early was going to cause issues. Meanwhile I was charged a late fee for not paying original monthly rental fee. I have my stuff now, I feel the box was turned upside down a few times several items being crushed without a real reason. The systems need to talk to each other better and communication should be clearer and pro-active. However, with little competition, customer service doesn't have to be the number one priority.

The people are great. They are courteous, professional and accommodating. The location is very convenient. On this experience however, the truck has simply been abused. It may be time to consider retiring this vehicle from the fleet.

I had to stopped by my storage to remove some items but unable to open the lock with my key. I later found that my lock had been changed. The next day I checked with Uhaul front desk person stated that an employee mistakenly removed the WRONG lock. I was NEVER notified that my lock had been removed & replaced with another lock. My account was always paid timely in advance. I had to wait in line for another front desk employee who was supposedly "in charge" to provide me with the new keys so I could access my storage. Access was received that day. I decided a week later to remove ALL my items. Anyone paying correctly for service should receive excellent service.

My unit, #3205, had my secure lock removed and another secure lock placed on it. So when I went to retrieve some items from my unit, my key would not work. I asked the UHaul rep at the front desk and she inquired and found that the lock had been replaced. I was never notified of this change so I was nervous that items might be missing. As it turns out, no items were missing. But had I gone to my unit at a tome when the front desk personnel had not been at work, I would not have been able to access my unit. They gave me no explanation as to why the UHaul lock I had purchased and placed on my unit had been replaced by another Uhaul lock. Bad fail for customer service.

My experience here at Uhaul was great from renting a truck, renting two storage units, purchasing supplies, and the price was affordable. What made the experience poor was at checkout when i asked the young lady for printed receipts. She told me i had to go online for that. Since i dont have a printer i asked two more times if there was anyway possible for her to print them. She finally gave in when another employee stood behind her listening to me beg for receipts. I know printing a customers receipts should not have been difficult and truly believe she just wanted to give me a hard time for no reason at all. When leaving i noticed she only printed 4 out of 7 charges. So i called the facility and was told they would reprint them for me. When i returned to the office she was outside waiting for me & handed them to me in the parking lot. I assume she had been reprimanded for the poor customer service and was trying to make up for it. Anyway, it never should have happened. She should have been willing from the get go to help the customer. I hope she learned a lesson.

The only complaint I really have is that you just kept going up on the rent every year when I put my things in there in 2015 I was paying 130 and I had to stop it because had gone up to 160 and was still raising the rent and as a result of lost everything I did. I had moved out of state and had no way I could not afford to come and get my things if there was anyway I could have I would've done it

I went to UHaul in order to rent one storage unit. The gentleman who assisted me stated he didn't usually help with storage units. Additionally, the computer seemed to be causing some issues. The process to get me into the computer took a while. About a month later, I received a call asking if I had moved out of one of my storage units. I explained that I only rented one unit and didn't know what the reference to a second unit was about. The person who I spoke with on the phone stated I must have accidentally been put in two units and stated they would take care of it. I then received an email reminding me about payment for the second unit. I called again and was told I would be removed from the second unit. I hope I have been removed from the second unit.

I had made a reservation online and it still took 45 minutes to get it done. I ask for a unit with a roll up door for the large items I had and received a unit with a walk through door.

Everyone was very helpful. Clean, safe, well maintained facility. The only negative was that the size of the storage space I would need, based on a completely full 26' Uhaul Truck, was under estimated
