the inside of our trailer was filled with mud and dirt. took me about 15 minutes to clean it up enough to be comfortable putting any of our stuff in it. Otherwise it was all good.PATRICK L.

They did me good my whole 10-11 months having my stuff in storage. They waived my late fees for me multiple times when I talked to the manager as long as I wasn't too many days late I would call the first or second day at the least ahead of time to let them know and the worked with me. On my last day I called them and told them I was going to be moving out of the unit and I didn't have to pay a dime to get my stuff out on the day my payment was due they just told me to have the unit cleared before the office closed at 8pm. This location tried to commit fraud I rented the largest vehicle and received it with major damage. One side the entire metal was destroyed hanging like a road hazard and ruining fuel economy. I tried to return the truck and after 20 minutes none would come to the return tent. I went inside and they said i could just leave it without waiting for check in if i wanted. This felt wrong and suspicious so I went and got someone who came and immediately said this truck is damaged and it was NOT preexisting! We would have to "deal with it". Preface we were not allowed to fill out a condition form by text. Enfuriated i told them all to come see what I had just recorded on video and see that on the truck itself where the damage is they still had the insurance claim sticker showing not only was the damage preexisting but they have been paid out by insurance and NOT made the appropriate repairs endangering lives with unnecessary road hazards. The workers became angry that i undid their attempted fraud but i demanded a receipt and kept the video as evidence of the blatant attempt at fraud! No apologies were given no attempts to reconcile just angry workers who got caught red handed trying to cheat the customer! Oh and my wife asked for corporate to which I believe it was Christine stated i don't care it just comes back to me anyway so nothing will be done about it. This was the worst uhaul and overall worst experience I've ever had and almost got frauded out $1000sAUTUMN D.
I would not recommend using U-haul to move at all & will not be using this service again in the future. The only reason I even went the U-box route is because I had a one-way trailer reserved for months in another state, but the day of pickup I was told the reservation was made under in-town move and there was no available trailers for 1-way in the entire state for the rest of the month. I made the reservation for the day before I was supposed to leave town for a reason and now was left with nothing. When this happened they offered no alternative solution for trailers and they did nothing to fix THEIR mistake. Yet despite this error, I inquired about a U-box and chose to regretfully stay with the company and spend over a thousand more dollars to have my stuff shipped through them. When it comes to the U-box rental, there is no such thing as a guaranteed arrival date because the shipping company picks and chooses when and what boxes they want to take. My box showed up almost an entire week late because supposedly the truck that was meant to pick up from the original location was not big enough to fit all 5 boxes, and therefore my box was sacrificed. When this happened, there was once again no alternative solution put in place to get my box shipped, it simply became a waiting game for someone to offer to pick it up. Nobody contacted me to let me know it was not shipped on time. I spoke with several representatives, every other day throughout the entire process and was told something completely different by each individual. It seems as though there is no sense of organization or urgency. On top of all the mess I went through waiting forever for it to ship, my box was dropped off the forklift upon arrival to the warehouse and busted open damaging several of my belongings including my TV. Once again, nobody communicated this with me until a couple days later when I had to call on my own to get an update, yet this was after they had already repackaged my things in another box, which means my stuff was not secure for I don't even know how long. One thing I can say is if it wasn't for Megan and the other owner at the Springs, TX location, (I believe her name was Christina) handling the situation at the end & being very understanding of how wrong the situation was on their part, the service would have been beyond poor. They did however go above and beyond to save the situation & deserve credit for being great managers. I appreciate that they at least stand by their 50 dollars a day for every day it is late, but money doesn't matter when a promise is on the line. It has been a little over a week since this occurrence & I currently am still waiting for a response from the insurance company for the damage to my things. This whole thing could've been avoided if they had a better system in place and included more fined print when writing their contracts. All in all, the entire process is completely frustrating and ruined my moving experience.Linda O.
We were asked to back up and place the trailer in a different place because the individual at the storage unit did not want to pull a trailer forward. We felt we were more of an inconvenience then dropping off equipment and/ or returning it.Jaime C.
You can fill the windshield washer reservoir with windshield washer fluid. You can activate the horn which was not working. You could change the trailer tires as one tire there was no tread and the other the cord was showing. It would be a good idea to clean the cab of the truck out at least vacuum it and make it smell good for the next customer. The outside of the truck needed to be washed, at least scrub off the bugs off the headlights so the next customer can see while driving at night. And the cruise control was not working. First time user of Uhaul equipment. Process was easy and efficient. We reserved a 15' truck, 12 blankets and 2 furniture dollies. When we went to pick up, the dollies were not available. Several calls were made to surrounding locations to no avail. It was a Saturday which I'm sure is their busiest day. We made do but it would have been nice to have the dollies. Staff at this location is very accommodating and answered our many questions with patience.Elisa S.

the tuck i rented was a pc of junk the front tires were bald, and when reaching frwy speeds the truck walked all over the road due to steering wheel play, also the ac cut off when you gave it some gas. Over all this truck shout be retired!!fred W.

If I was late the staff would harass my emergency contacts over the phone and through the mail demanding payment from them or just revealing financial information intended for me even after warnings that doing so violated the state finance code. The Spring Cypress location was very helpful. There was a mistake when scheduled over the phone however the staff in-store fixed it and was able to accomplish my move in a very timely fashion. Thank you to the Spring Cypress location. 5 star rating. However, Spring Cypress was not my original pick. I made a reservation for pickup at the Franz location in Katy. When I arrived, I waited 40 minutes after opening time for someone to arrive so I can get started on my move. No one showed. When I called the location, I did get an answer who only advised me to just wait, which I've already been doing. I will not recommend this location. 0 stars. Thank you Spring Cypress for helping getting me squared away and working with me when the other location didn't even show for business.Anthoney G.

Everything was fine and found my personal items in good condition after being locked inside one of your storage units for two whole months. My personal effects were kept safe and secure, which is also extremely important. The only complaint would be the darkness inside the storage unit itself - no light bulb! And the unit was upstairs, which made it more difficult and strenuous to move things around. Also, we came back on our third trip shortly after 8pm and couldn't get inside the storage building because it was locked. Wasted trip! I had to stopped by my storage to remove some items but unable to open the lock with my key. I later found that my lock had been changed. The next day I checked with Uhaul front desk person stated that an employee mistakenly removed the WRONG lock. I was NEVER notified that my lock had been removed & replaced with another lock. My account was always paid timely in advance. I had to wait in line for another front desk employee who was supposedly "in charge" to provide me with the new keys so I could access my storage. My unit, #3205, had my secure lock removed and another secure lock placed on it. So when I went to retrieve some items from my unit, my key would not work. I asked the UHaul rep at the front desk and she inquired and found that the lock had been replaced. I was never notified of this change so I was nervous that items might be missing. As it turns out, no items were missing. But had I gone to my unit at a tome when the front desk personnel had not been at work, I would not have been able to access my unit. They gave me no explanation as to why the UHaul lock I had purchased and placed on my unit had been replaced by another Uhaul lock. Bad fail for customer service.carrie g. | Overall Experience

My experience here at Uhaul was great from renting a truck, renting two storage units, purchasing supplies, and the price was affordable. What made the experience poor was at checkout when i asked the young lady for printed receipts. She told me i had to go online for that. Since i dont have a printer i asked two more times if there was anyway possible for her to print them. She finally gave in when another employee stood behind her listening to me beg for receipts. I know printing a customers receipts should not have been difficult and truly believe she just wanted to give me a hard time for no reason at all. When leaving i noticed she only printed 4 out of 7 charges. So i called the facility and was told they would reprint them for me. When i returned to the office she was outside waiting for me & handed them to me in the parking lot. I assume she had been reprimanded for the poor customer service and was trying to make up for it.
