Shorter phone wait time and trying to charge over 700.00 to just go from up and back to one way travel. When I was pulling the trailer I had to stop every so often to tighten the lug nuts on the back 2 wheels because they kept coming off and when I was coming home the trailer was pulling to the right.TIMOTHY J.

The truck ran rough. Check engine light was on. That cost more gas to run. The interior of the truck had a ripped drivers seat that pinched me as I bounced along. Turns out the truck was locked inside service gate. The guy that checked me out was rude, two other employees had unprofessional conversations in front of me the customer. You did not have an appliance dolly although I reserved one online. I do have a couple of questions/issues. 1. I requested and paid for 2 Dolly's. Only had 1 in the truck 2. I drove the truck 16 miles and was charged 4 gallons of gas. That literally has to be the worst gas milage known to man. I like this location. Always friendly and helpful!!!Tina P.

I would not recommend this location for use as a storage unit. Rented a 10 by 20 and the building is in poor condition. The roll up door does not operate properly and won't open fully. The walls are patched with multiple patches not finished. This was the only place available for rent so I had to take what I could get.Albert V.

I reserved my rental through the u-haul app. I received a quote of 52 and some change. I was never informed that my rental was an in-town rental. My quote of 52 dollars turned into over 126 total. The app is very misleading if I was informed of the possible of being charged an extra 74 dollars on top of the initial 52. When I filled out my application on the app and received my quote of 52 dollars. I reserved the vehicle as a 24 hour rental. I was never ask how many miles or how far I would be driving. I never was informed that this was a in-town rental. I feel that i was rent a vehicle for 24 hr with no limitations on mileage. The service staff at the 1420 Blizzard Dr. Parkersburg,WV site was very rude and insulting to my wife when she picked up the vehicle. When she pick up the vehicle that is when she was going to be charged 108 upfront and the that the rental was an in-town rental and that we had a hundred mile limitation. The staff told her that she never seen a price quote of 52. I was the one reserved the rental and informed her that that was the original price that I was quote. I ended up with a total cost of 126 after returning vehicle with the proper amount of gas that your recommended on my service agreement. I was charged an additional 19 dollars for gas overages after filling the vehicle to the recommended level for return. So for a original price quote of 52 ended being 126 with no prior knowledge of this becoming this expensive. 52 original quote changed to 108 quote when vehicle picked up to a final price of over 126 dollars is unacceptable. You app is misleading your staff was rude. I will not use or recommend using U-haul service every again. Be upfront with your price give customer the information to know how much your be charged upfront. Don't suck them in with one price just to charge them on a technicality of words like in-town rental and mileage limits that I was never informed of. I would never use your app or another app for any rental company if I was going to be mislead one the total price. Be upfront and honest in your price quotes. Don't be rude and condescending to your customers. You have lost this customer for a very long time.CHARLES S.

The truck that I rented leaked in the cab and in the box area. I had a mattress and box spring get wet and several other boxes as well. When I dropped the truck off the attendant stated he did not work for U Haul but that he would take the truck out of service to get if fixed. No offer to help with the damage goods. After I was done moving I brought the truck and EVERYTHING on it back right before they closed. The little boy working with the hickey on his neck took my keys and said he'd send me an email recipe. I check about two hours later and I had been charged $100.00 for a missing dolly that I returned on the truck. I called customer service to make a dispute and they said it would be 3-5 business days for them to make a decision. Very upset with this employee's overlook and the fact they didn't even call to tell me they â€œthought â€œ it was missing. Now I have $100 tied up for a dolly I don't even have. -_-Maegan G.

Get more UHauls. We moved from Wellsburg WV to Parkersburg and we had to come to Parkersburg to get a truck.we were told there is a shortage in trucks.and we had to get a smaller truck we wanted a 36 ft. But all we could get was a 30 ft.so we had to make 2 trips at an extra $172.00. + gas.but the staff was very friendly.and the truck was clean.Corinna F.

Manager was absolutely SHOCKED that the Richmond UHaul let us take the trailer with a tire that BALD, he said it was totally unacceptable and we were extremely lucky that we didn't have a blow out. He was going to replace that tire right then, said it was dangerous!Nason L.

Really did not enjoy having to drive 200 miles out of our way to find a truck at the last minute. The system of â€œyour reservation of a truck is dependent on someone else dropping one offâ€ is ridiculous. If someone reserves a truck and one isn't coming in, you as a company should send someone to pick one up and bring it to the location. At the very least, give the customer more than one day's notice that a truck won't be there. Luckily we had someone who could drive two hours away to get a truck that should have been at our rental location - some folks are not so fortunate.Joseph N.

Fix lockbox for remote pickup. If that can't happen then have employees extend hours for early in the day pickups. At least have employee show up on time. Not this locations fault but We couldn't get the size truck we ordered, the original pickup location we ordered and the time we ordered. He was personable, genuinely cared of others as it was easy to see, and basically treats you with kindness and respect. Your reservation process sucks. I made a reservation a week before my trip. Called 5 days before and confirmed everything. The day before my trip, I get a message wanting me to go 2 hours in the opposite direction to pick up the trailer.James S.

Improve the uhaul website. Attempted online to extend my trailer rental by a few hours but website said it couldn't be extended beyond 730 AM this morning. So we hustled, forfeiting much needed sleep to make sure I would be back at rental location by 7 AM. I arrived at approx 645 AM and began online return process. I was, however, unable to lift trailer off my hitch by myself, so I sat back to wait until 7 AM when someone would surely be in. After waiting until almost 730 AM with no one around, I looked up the location information and saw they didn't open until 9 AM. I am beyond irritated that the online reservation system didn't provide that information when I attempted to extend my reservation. Instead, the site said if I was later than my 24 hour period (7 AM), I would be subject to additional fees. Really??? Where is my compensation for waiting for over 2 hours at the location for them to open? UnrealRobert C.

Our unit leaked, and our possessions were covered in mold and mildew. Everything smelled and is basically a loss. Staff seemed uninterested in helping other than to tell us to make an insurance claim. Customer service was disappointing. Even if we are able to recoup and rebuy, there are things in the unit that are irreplaceable (pictures, baby book, etc.). So incredibly easy to take care of something that is usually a logistical pain. Everything could be done from my phone, and it was really convenient that I could access my unit and return my truck event though it was past store hours. I called an employee a couple minutes past close to ask some questions and he picked up and stayed on the line with me for probably 20 minutes just trying to help me out. Great overall.
