But if you would want to take it to a whole other level, you could have the vehicles started up and warmed up for people when the weather is cold out. Maybe while one is checking somebody in, another could go start the vehicle with the heater on. Just a thought, def not a star taken away. Just a suggestion. They were very fast and courteous.

JARED DI had to wait to check the truck in because only one person was there. Of course it was Sunday. Also still having to pay when a good portion of my stuff was ruined by a leaking roof was annoying. We will see if I get any compensation with a claim. It was the second truck with the same kind of leak recently. Not really this location's fault but no where else to comment about it.

JOHN HWe rented the van Friday late afternoon almost evening on 11/15/24 when we returned the van the following Friday late afternoon, they charged us $89 for an extra day also we fueled the van back up to where it was at when picked up and they charged us $4.50 a gallon for 6 Gallons of fuel, we have done so much business with this location on rentals and hitch installations that I am very disappointed in the service we received this time. Although this is the first issue, I have had with this location I would be willing to give them another chance if they understand their error as the employee who done this shouldn't reflect on the owner but sadly it does. I am sure we will do more business with them in the future. I will also add the employee was frustrated because they had no vans to rent at the time and someone was needing one as the employee called me upset and not so polite and I told him ours shouldn't be due back until late afternoon he made the statement that he needed it now.

JAY WGentleman who assisted (can't remember his name) was very helpful and double checked the tires on the trailer before our departure (since every time I've ever rented one, the tire treads fail on the highway and roadside assistance has to be called). He was very thorough and friendly!
BROOKE BThey forgot the utility dolly, the truck leaked rain onto some of my belongings, also we had to pry the door to stay open so we could load belongings. Customer service was nice, they gave me a 20.00 discount, they were fast. Not too bad, maintenance the equipment better.

Michael WTruck was a little rough around the edges but it got the job done. My only legit complaint was a fairly substantial exhaust leak coming not the trucks cab. We had to keep the windows cracked a little. Not a huge deal.
James Na 24 hour paid rental is a 24 paid rental regardless if I said during casual conversation I expected to be done in 12 hours. Getting a call at 8 AM (3.5 hours short of 24 hour rental) asking if I had still had the truck and that the location had it rented at 9:30 AM - unacceptable. At that point, even though I could have pushed and had it back 11:30 AM, I indicated then I was going to need to extend the rental. Unless Uhaul has started renting by the hour, unacceptable in my mind to rent a vehicle out again before the 24 hour rental period is up.
ROBERT CI rented this truck with a dolly and moving blankets. 2 packs of blankets. I got a pack and a half of blankets and the dolly after I had to go back after picking up my truck. Lossing time and milage I STILL had to pay for. The workers were not only unhelpful but they treated me like it was my fault. I had to carry my own stuff to the truck. I lost half a day and about 15 miles because they didn't do their job correctly.
Edward KI came in in person to make the reservation. The person who did, after verbally confirming with the right day, made it for the wrong day. Luckily, I confirmed it online and called to make the correction.

GIDGET VWe were charged for being miles over estimated miles. I put $20 in gas in truck b4 celery back to rental office. The young woman kept my $100 deposit. The truck was clean. I feel cheated! This rental was not explained to us that they would keep over 3 miles! I am very unhappy. Truck was a $39.95 renal. To keep my deposit was line being robbed!

IGNACIO CEmployees didn't have the best customer service, seemed like I was bothering them. Also, they should not tell people that the money they hold will be immediately returned to them at time of truck return. Haley told me that my extra holding money would be returned when I brought the truck back, but it has been almost 24 hours and I am still seeing a large amount pending. I called them and a different girl (I assume but I did not get her name) told me, a little rudely, that my money returning was up to my bank. I told her Haley had misinformed me and that they should let her know not to tell people that. I'm happy with the truck rental itself but definitely not happy with the customer service I received.

DONALD MI was supposed to return Uhaul to 1010 10th St, Vienna, WV. Had rented till 9/21 but returned to 9/19. Called this location no answer and went there no one there. Returned Uhaul to 1420 Blizzard Dr Parkersburg, WV. After driving across town caused me to go over my allotted miles. Pretty disappointing. This return location took Uhaul even though was supposed to go to other location. Return location was helpful and I appreciate them taking truck. I'm not sure why sent to another location for return when never open. Caused me to pay for extra miles.

SHARON JWhen we emptied our storage unit, we found multiple dead mice and large amounts of rodent feces and urine on the floor and in our belongings. Multiple items had to be thrown out and we are still in the process of unpacking boxes. The unit was definitely not anywhere near being full to capacity so it would not have been dificult for an exterminator or uhaul staff to enter and provide pest control. Very disappointed and sad about items that were destroyed by rodents. I've always been a UHaul customer for years but will look for other options in the future.

Additionally, customers would return trucks and leave them parked- side by side in the driving lane to exit the facility and we would have to sit and wait in our car for someone to come clear the driveway.

This facilities' staff have always been exceptional every time I have used them over the years.

Wendy C | First ImpressionsI called to secure 3 storage units days before our travel date of Saturday, November 6, 2021. Spoke on Monday, November 1,2021. to Jacqui to secure 3 units. She was pleasant; however, little knowledge of how to rent units with someone in the back ground giving her direction. Received an e mail confirmation for only one unit, called again spoke to Kyle with my concern of only on confirmation on 3 units. Kyle assured me that I was "all set" for our arrival on Nov 7th. Arrived Saturday, presented my reservation number and the worker saidthat we did not have a reservation. The attendant seemed very distracted, no concentration and "out to lunch". The second attendant wasn't much better. Very disconnected and not helpful. Inside restroom just nasty. Asked if they wanted to inspect our return truck and mileage. The response was "no we don't worry about that". Storage units poor, trouble closing and getting lock on door. Uhaul truck blocking access to unit 145 .. attendants no idea how to more the company owned truck. This is very disappointing, not a good impression of folks moving into the state. Not a good representation of Uhaul very sad and management should step up and make some major changes.
