I reserved the trailer for the 301 location. We got there and they said they didn't have one available so they sent us to another location 25 minutes away. It states that the reservation is guaranteed or you give me $50? This was a major inconvenience, we were on a time crunch and certainly we're not expecting to have to drive to a different location to pick up our trailer.Shawn W.

I think his name was John, but I'm probably way off.. either way man working morning of the 15th was AMAZING!!! Our reserved rental at that same location fell through thanks to the previous renters. He helped us still get a truck to move with and gave us a fantastic deal to cover the headache of changing our rental plans.Coriander W.

The sole clerk/equipment handler on duty was clearly overworked (and probably underpaid). This made him grouchy toward me (and probably other customers). I was told I could leave the lot without receiving any confirmation that I had returned the trailer in good shape; otherwise, I would have to wait another 30 minutes.Anthony K.

More customer parking. Everything about my experience was wonderful except the fact I had to park across a major 6 lane divided highway and walk across with no light. I would have had to walk quite a bit out of my way to cross at a light. The reservation process was super and friendly. The associates at the store were very friendly. Normally I have a good experience. Two issues this time. I completed all the information for mobile check-in and ended up still waiting and providing the same information again. The gas guage was inaccurate. While it showed touching full when I got in the truck, it quickly dropped. I drove 16 miles and required over 5 gallons to fill. The person who checked me in blamed it on me for not returning to bring it to their attention. It truly was the error of whoever got the vehicle ready for the next rental.Andrew O.
Your reservation system is terrible!!! I've been renting vans off and on at the same location for approximately 10 years and things always went smoothly. I'd phone the location and they would simply advise me whether they had a van available on the dates I needed. Now, you've instituted a centralized reservation system that wouldn't even advise me whether the van was expected to be available until one day before the date for which I requested the van. I went, in person to the location and they readily promised the van for the requested date. But they couldn't cancel the centralized system's reservation. The rationale for this new approach is that the van might not be returned on time by the prior lessee so UHaul can't promise me the van. While I understand this issue, that has always been the case and maybe UHaul should impose higher late fees to eliminate this problem. Also, it's my understanding that the real problem is caused by the fact that UHaul's agreements with large lessees like Amazon and FedEx allow them to hold over their rented equipment with little or no penalty. This effectively makes the average individual lessee a second class citizen whose equipment reservation may be bounced with UHaul's acquiescence. And means an average individual lessee cannot reasonably rely on an reservation for UHaul equipment. I suggest this new reservation system should be overhauled to address this serious deficiency.Edward C.

There is NO parking on site. They expect you to park & walk across a very business main street. (route 41) that is 4 lanes and is VERY DANGEROUS. Huge liability for the owner/s.Sandra S.

One of the lady employees was not friendly. I had to go there because no other places were close to me, but if I had other choices, I would not go anymore.Shinichiro F.
The older woman with long brown hair at the counter was less than friendly when we popped in to pick up our key for our self service reservation. She was in the middle of a conversation with the manager and even though the manager greeted us and said she'd be happy to help us, she continued to look past us and finish her conversation with him before even acknowledging us. Then when she did she said that we better make sure we finish the self service out properly because she didn't want to have to report a truck stolen but didn't explain anything more. Alarmed by this we asked what she meant and only then did she explain that some people don't finish the rest of the questionnaire after getting the keys and then it looks like the truck should still be on the lot. We thanked her and left. This wouldn't have been an issue alone, but when we brought the truck back I read the app's instructions and was following all the prompts that state to park it in a parking spot and not to go through the staff at the office or there would be a charge. However the same woman told us we had to move the truck back to the drop off line so it could be cleaned. We moved it and I finished out the app instructions. She got mad and said we shouldn't have done that and we should have let her do it. I told her, I was already almost done with it by the time she got to us. Not to mention I did not want the $20 charge. She said that the app drop off is only for after hours but that was not anywhere in the directions provided so I feel that training is likely needed here or better explanation in the app. Overall, what should have been little to no interaction with staff was more than necessary and it was an incredibly rude encounter at that. Smiling, kindness, and a simple explanation of things goes a long way, but was missed today.Stephen C.

First of all no parking at site. Doesn't mean over night or anything. Even if you are there to pick up. Next door business don't allow uhal customers. You have to cross busy 2 way road without traffic lights . Manager told me i should have ask someone to give ride . SeriouslyAbdul Q.

The supervisor I did speak to was helpful, and the manager of the facility are the only people I give credit to and I really would like the thank. Other then that I will never use UHAUL again! I ended up having to pay more for a truck I shouldn't have gotten charged for because the lack of knowledge to help me get INSIDE a storage lacks. I got sent to a 2nd place just to be able to be moved and was given access, but arrived and access didn't work. Again, thank you to the manager who came out living far just to help me get moved in!! The confusion, and lack of description to help with the moving process was very unsetting. My move in process was very frustrating and pushed us back and caused alot of headaches. Then about an hour roughly on hold waiting for a customer rep didn't help much either! First time ever using uhaul and just very unsatisfied with them.KARA B. | Online Move In
