Equipment was dirty when I received it I literally hauled boxes and a couch replaced the dirty ropes with clean ones and got charged 56 dollars for a cleaning fee totally unfair and I will be complaint on social media

Mark C. | First ImpressionsAdditional feedback - the system said they required a tow inspection, but this site did not ask for proof, nor perform one. Submitted by email - I am currently moving with my family across the country and using one of your 5x8 trailers. While the trailer has worked well, some other parts of this move have not. The ball that I purchased to tow your trailer has consistently come loose from during our trip. Its recurring knocking and rattling has caused greater stops to retighten. Also, when making an overnight stop, the trailer does not have a pin lock to secure the trailer to the car. I did purchase a lock set from the pickup location. That "master" lock set is for the pin, ball, and hitch pin. The ball lock does not fit over the coupler due to a ridge on your coupler. That, combined with the lack of a lockable pin makes the security of the connection quite low.

Hollianne M.I reserved a van and an appliance dolly to move bedroom furniture that was too heavy for me to lift. When I picked up the van the dolly had been rented to someone else. The employee was nonchalant about my concern and made no effort to assist me with finding what I needed at another location.

Dennis E.I am severely disappointed in the reservation system at U-Haul.I was emailed that my equipment pick-up was at Waverly Rd. And when I arrived I was told that my equipment was at another location.I never received a notification of that so I wasted tie and fuel to finally pick up my equipment.I should be able to contact the actual facility but it seems that the calls go to some calling center instead.VERY DISSATISFIED.The Pierpont Dr. Location was helpful but didn't inform me that I needed to get the moving blankets by the door on my way out so I didn't have them and was charged for them anyway.

Wade L.Mobile pickup still required that I go insider to get a key. The van had a low fuel light within 5 miles of leaving the pickup site low washer fluid and a tire that was low on air. The van also smelled badly of cigarette smoke
Arjay P.There were several times in the winter that there were issues with the security passes to log in not working. The large center door didn't always close. One of the elevators was broken. Shutting down access after 10pm to the indoor facility did not match with my work hours and made access difficult. The operators at the generic/after hours number have no idea what they are doing. They could never help me.

Only surprise was not receiving the promised email confirming what the final charge to my credit card would be. Not a "deal-breaker" since after later checking my account, the charge was the same as the original quote. :-)
Jock M.The general manager said I would get a gerund if I put fuel in the vehicle because it was on E empty when I picked it up. I haven't received the refund yet. The truck was on E, tires were low and windshield washer was low. I checked the oil and it was low also.

Alexis E.The guy told us that we had the U-Haul for 24 hours. He calls at 11 am and says it has to be. Back by 1145 pm we got charged 20 extra bucks when we were told different. They also charged us for a trailer the miles that wd didn't even get.

jim T.I had to hook up the trailer myself because a young lady with 3 days experience was left there alone on a Saturday morning. It also took more than 20 minutes for her to complete the check in because of software problems or lack of employee training. When I returned 5 hours later a young man was there alone and said that he did not have time to unhook the trailer because he busy with other things. The only good thing was the trailer was in good shape. This was the worst experience I have had ever at a UHaul facility. I paid $40 to rent a trailer and received no service.

I was never able to reach the store manager after multiple failed attempts. One of the representatives sent a text message to the managers personal phone while I was on the line with him marked urgent. I never heard from him and was never able to get a hold of him at all. And I lost all everything for $89.00 credit from selling it. It wasn't that I was delinquent in payment, I already knew this and when call I expected to hear that. But to tell me that I could still get my stuff and then not answer me back?

When we arrived at 8am I was told the truck was not returned yet. After I told the girl to call corporate she finally told me I could go to another site. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. I was told not their fault not their truck.

Now you have billed me an extra rental day charge when it was returned the same day. 6 hours later. I am done renting from you & your manager ain't assist me is a refund. I am beyond upset with you.

My U-haul smelled liked someone smoked cigarettes in it before I got it. Which isn't a big deal really. But a quick spray of smell goods or sanitizing after each use once returned would be much appreciated. All in all though, I'll always come to this location as long as it's available.

We had massive difficulties with the app and our account not showing our reservation, and we were unable to use mobile pickup like we wanted.
MARGARET ELIZABE F.I was lucky enough to get a unit on the first floor. The facility is clean and very secure. Plenty of carts available to assist in move-in/move-out. I like their billing process as well. I would highly recommend this facility for storage.
