ROBERT JI made a reservation over the phone with an employee at this location. My reservation was for a trailer at 7:30 AM on a Sunday. I showed up at 7:30, the location was closed. I saw a sticker on the door advertising that you can grab your reserved equipment. Nobody ever said anything about not being able to a trailer by yourself. There was a trailer staged that looked like the one I reserved. So I hooked up to my truck and submitted my information on the Uhaul app. The app said everything was good to go and gave me the green light. The next day I went to return the trailer. An employee met me in the parking lot and asked how he could help. I told him I was returning the trailer he stated "obviously" (in a rude tone). He unhooked it for me and then got on he phone and said you're not so and so, right? I said no why? He stated this trailer has been missing since yesterday, I stated I had a reservation and explained what I did. He said I need to come in said and explain to the manager the situation I said ok and went inside. Once inside he began to tell everyone inside the situation even the customers. Meanwhile there were two other customers in there and both of their orders and reservations had something screwed up with. They whole staff seemed to be overwhelmed and had no idea what was going on. The manager made all the problems the customers fault. Including mine. When speaking to the manager she said I had stolen the trailer, I said no I checked in on the app and she said you can't do that for trailers I said well it let me. It made me scan my license and submit my credit card and then said I was good to go and showed her on the app. And she states well it's not supposed to do that and continued to say I stole the trailer and that everything that was wrong was my fault. I said why did he the employee confirm my reservation for Sunday when the office wasn't open then or say anything about the trailer procedures? She said idk who you booked with but that doesn't matter I said ok. She proceeded to check me out and charge me for the smaller trailer I had but was extremely rude while doing so. I would like a call back regarding this situation to explain further.
JACOB MNo issues here. This location has kept me a customer for over 25 years. Always had a great experience here. And full tank of gas.
Raymond BOn the enclosed trailer that I rented, it felt like the electric brakes weren't working. I didn't notice this until it was loaded and I was on my way. I returned the trailer after hours so I used the Uhaul app to check it back in. The app had no place to detail this issue to Uhaul, just a yes/no general question. The store employees that helped me get the trailer were great, both professional and friendly. I hope Uhaul will pass that along to them, they deserve to be recognized.

ELISHA JI was told the drop off location I wanted would be fine as long as it had a key drop box but it was not verified by the original employee. The location was technically closed due to illness and I was being threatened with additional fees. Simon saved the day and called the gas station to verify the truck was there and made sure they didn't apply any fees being he knew I was given incorrect information. Thanks again Simon!
WILLIAM GTook forever to get our truck because the person at the counter was waiting on myself first then proceeded to wait on a second person before finished with me. The truck smelled of cigarettes!!
jackie bCheck engine light was on for the full 900 miles we drove. PO420 code. Shaking and popping during every turn. Very bad alignment. Was told "this is the only truck we have"

CAMILLE MFor the second time in three months, U-Haul attempted to overcharge me. Some workers could be more friendly and more patient. I feel that the workers need more training.
OONA RI would not U-Haul at all to anyone. I was overcharged on mileage. I literally went up the street from my house I was moving out of to a storage facility. I was charged for a 119 miles. I never left the city. I will never rent from U-Haul again they're dishonest at least at that particular place. Nobody has money to give away. And I'm very dissatisfied as to how I was treated. The manager Simon called and left a message on my dispute. And put on the ticket it had been resolved. Without ever talking to me. So I don't recommend the Bay rd location in Saginaw Michigan. Make sure you take pics of everything and document everything. Because these people are dishonest and will R.I.P. you off.
Berths DOne way reservations need to be the same as return to location. I reserved a month in advance only to be told less than 24 hours to my pick up time that no trucks were available. It took some work to find a location with one and it was not near me. So it was stressful.

OLIVER JExcessive misbehavior by Mr. Williams Wiley needs to be investigated and check. Mr. Williams is treating customers so badly. His attitudes towards customers is very unprofessional. I rent from U-Haul all the times, and I never had any issues except him

MONIQUE SStaff is always friendly..even when they are busy....Trucks and trailers have been in good condition and no problems when renting. Checking back in when due has always been fast. Defineatly recommend U Haul!!
JOHN cHaving spent many years in customer service I understand how important it is for a business. Simon provided the most outstanding customer service. From my call yesterday, to installation today he went above and beyond. This is my reason for choosing U-Haul to install the trailer hitch on my car. He was also kind enough to put on the new Bike Rack I purchased from U-Haul also. THIS IS A TOP NOTCH MANAGER THAT KEEPS CUSTOMERS COMING BACK. I will return and recommend U-Haul on Bay Road for any services they provide. Thank you, Simon
Renee GThe manager in Rapid City, SD was really helpful. The staff in Rapid City, SD was helpful. The Rapid City office, delivered the pods, the day they were supposed to. Didn't have to wait. It was a little aggravating having to wait close to 60 days, before receiving my two pods. The crew in Saginaw MI
matthew mYour employees can be more welcoming and inviting first they was rude and the communication was horrible and then we got on the same page but very rude customer service.
Angela SSimon, the store manager and Tracey, the assistant manager have a great team and they always provide excellent customer service. I never have any reason to even check out what a competitor's company may be offering. I honestly don't know and don't care because I know that with U-Haul I am going to have both great equipment and excellent customer service. Thanks.

The truck we were given was from Arizona with 160000 + miles on it and we were driving it one way to Howell,Mi The transmission seemed to be slipping every now and then.But overall it was a good experience. John RI was a couple hours late, called the location earlier in the day to let them know and they said that was fine. After leaving the location, my bank was charged an additional $15.50 for a whole extra day, I guess? I don't know and I am not going to call to ask, 15 bucks is 15 bucks whatever...
Holly YWanted to drop trailer at different location. Seemed like a big hassle to amend contract. Could be easier to pay a fee and do it after the fact.

Thomas MManager Simon is not a good manager. They send all there phone calls to the call center. The call center doesn't give out information correctly over the phone. They make people waste trips and there gas money. They don't give the correct information. They are very rude and disrespectful

This resulted to me getting locked out of the building while I was still unloading and had to take an extra day to unload and drive 5 hours. This entire experience was garbage and has cost me 400 bucks and U-Haul thinks they are going to charge me for miles but I will not or I will get my 400 I am owed. Will never move with U-haul ever again.

Then after my First load because I'm currently in a law suite I took pictures befor and after I left and the first trip! Came back and things where different. Bulta where missing and the storage unit next to me has a unit with electricity running from it to my unit. I spoke the manager about it and she told me The was medication and a fridge that needed to be ran in that unit. Then I told her that just seemed weird because we where not allowed to to that. She said they paid extra and there was a camera in the unit as well. Well why do u need a camera in the unit of you ha e them in ever corner or hall of th storage place? Little writes to me. I asked to change units and I did. Came back to the new unit and same thing. My property where moved and the structure of my unit was different. Very strange and in easy. The workers keep saying no one can get in so it makes me question is it the employees who are messing with the units themself! After I complained manager was very rude and said I couldn't do anything unless I had pictures. I told her yes and she got mad and Walked off. Why would you be so mad at me about figuring out why things are being messed with? I didn't want to question any more and could tell she was not interested in my Issue the manager that is. Then they guy that helped me Saturday was nice but when I went on Monday to address my Fees still on there him hisself gor mad and said whatever and walked away.
