I saw where to go with the van once I returned it, but there was no clear place marked to park the van for return.

The truck drifted on the freeeway as if the suspension needs attention. Also the sketch of the location the fuel needle on my receipt did not match the portion of the needle when I turned in the truck. I drove 33 miles and put in 5 gallons of gas. The location charge me for four more, a total of 9 gallons for 33 miles. More importantly the their receipt does not match the truck fuel gauge. I have photos.

Guy at the front counter wasn't really friendly and gave us wrong information. He told me if I kept the truck an extra day it would be twenty additional dollars only to figure out at the drop off location that it was $60. Not cool.

I think the customer service overall is good, but the staff on hand could use some improvement, there was only one person working there to handle returns, and for truck rentals. However he still worked faster than the U-haul representatives by himself than the three representatives that were on site at the U-Haul on Baltimore Street in Detroit, MI. Anyway, I would go there again.

The inside of the trailer had not been swept out and items from the last use was still in there. No attempt was made to clean it before my using it nor an apology for the mess inside. The back door of the trailer was off and they had to take a hammer to it to aloe the door to close. The worker also left his hammer on top of the trailer and if I hadn't seen it in my mirror he would have lost it when I drove off. Instead I drove around to the main entrance and returned his hammer.

I had to drive 45 miles to pick it up when I reserved it a week on advance from a UHaul location 5 miles from my house. Trailer had 2 holes in the floor and a hole in the side the trailer was absolutely filthy I side.

Staff was helpful. The truck was clean. All was well at the depot. The truck seemed to be idling way too high and wasting rpms--consuming additional fuel. When compared to similar truck rentals from Penske and Enterprise, U-Haul used about 30% more fuel.
