My unit had mouse droppings in it. When I showed Jessica, she said she would have some one clean it. Whoever cleaned it didn't clean it all up. There were several locations in the unit with mouse droppings. I loaded my belongings on one side of the unit and will see if someone can clean the remaining droppings. Or I may do it myself. I know many storage units have mice, but at least TRY to make it look like you don't. . The locks don't work well on the units either. I have to go back up to have them drill a bigger hole so the lock actually works. The unit should have been cleaned and inspected before I checked in. I wish I could say I'd recommend it, but I can't right now. Fortunately, I will only need it for a few months. If this were going to be a longer term rental, I think I'd look elsewhere.Robert J. | First Impressions

I wrote down the mileage when my husband came back to our house and then again when he parked it in the drop off lane a half hour after closing time. I was not able to check it in according to the directions on the pamphlet so I called first thing in the morning. When I received the final bill email I saw that I was overcharged by 7 miles. It was at 162009 at pickup, 162032 at home and 162036 at drop off. I was billed for 162043 by emailed final bill the next morning. I sent an email response questioning the overcharge and was totally ignored. Your billing sucks at the Pleasant Hills, PA location.VANCE S.

The pick up/drop off process was relatively painless. However when picking up I asked to have an extra day of rental added just to make things easier on myself. Be careful about extra charges. I received a voicemail stating that I didn't ask for an extension and that I needed to return the uhaul. When I called they asked if I returned it today or yesterday. They should know this. I returned it 9/25 which is the same day I got it. I returned it while the store was still open. Then found out I got charged a $20 late fee. Not ok. I wasn't lateDanielle H.

The person that helped us, Dane, was a huge help. We were anxious about driving a 26' truck with a car trailer behind it 1000 miles but he set us up and encouraged us throughout the entire check in process. The truck itself was very clean and spacious inside the cab. The drive was not 'as bad' as we thought (though strenuous). Thank you Dane!LARRY H.

Reserved a truck WITH appliance dolly because I needed to move appliances. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have any dolly, this makes it a bit difficult to move appliances. After explaining to the employee the purpose of needing a dolly, he was able to find me a regular dolly, of which I had to purchase a strap for $10. He did credit me the cost of the dolly, but definitely had an arrogant attitude. After getting me my truck, I didn't get a â€œThank youâ€, or â€œsorry for the inconvenience â€œâ€¦. He just walked away. I will not use this location againJon W.

As we know there is nothing fun when it's involves moving but when you have a wonderful experience with I say one of the biggest keys involved in the process, it makes the day much easier. Everyone from the phone call to reserve the truck, to pick up and drop off we're so friendly and helpful. Each process was quick and easy. No one explained to me that there were steps to get to the unit which we found difficult but our main issue was the height of the unit. We had a truck full of furniture that would have been too tall to fit in this unit and also a fridge. I was never told the type of storage I was offered was short. So only a small load of stuff was brought there. I had to rent another place Saturday from A normal style storage unit. The uhaul storage was free to us however the unplanned mileage put on the uhaul truck cost me extra money. I will be contacting uhaul about this because not only did I have to rent a unit elsewhere I now put an additional 20 miles on the truck. And ontop of that I'm going to have to pickup everything I did put at the uhaul facility another day.Matt C. | First Impressions

The unit was clean, but I was extremely disappointed to find that my large storage unit was located on the 2nd floor with the only access to the unit was to carry large, heavy items up steps.
