I was overcharged $24 for “EZ Fuel” yet I returned the truck with the fuel it had when I picked it up. I called the office to ask what the charge was for and the receptionist just kept saying “read your original contract”. Clearly they do not know what they’re talking about. I will NEVER rent from this place again.

Vehicle was unsafe, front end was out of alignment once I got over 46 mph the truck was drifting all over the place. Fuel and mileage stated were inaccurate. Lastly I was not even offered any compensation by the folks at uhaul. So a very disappointing experience. Especially since I have used the location 3 times in the last three weeks

I used the online method for easy pickup. It was a complete disaster. Keys weren’t in the lock box for the truck when guided to retrieve the keys. Took over 20 minutes to obtain the truck when it’s suppose to be “quick way” i won’t use this location ever again.

I rented at van for $19.95. Was given an estimate of $36.06. But when I returned it less than 4 hours later, the bill was suddenly more than $70! What a rip off! Big time bait and switch. I will be taking this to the State Attorney General's office. NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL!

Make it clear in your 24/7 application that users only have 1 hr to pick up the truck before it gets rented to someone else. I know it states it, but in all the other things users have to sign off on it gets lost in the mess. Thankfully the crew saved me from this app. Big thanks to the guys at the store.

They need to make sure all the gas tanks are full when they give out trucks. Not have full or almost full because they are trying to over charge me for that reason. I try to give uhaul another shot because prior to this time I've always had bad experiences due to unprofessionalism. I will not be using uhaul ever again in life even if I was desperate!

The location is great, right by the highway, secure, & well lit but our first unit had a water leak happen above it, I never received first month promo for booking a truck, & no one answers the phone.

Should be more accurate on the gas.before you take out the van. I would suggest the service person come out with the customer to accurately record the gas that is in the van instead of the customer driving back to the office and waiting in line to do your job and waiting another 15 minutes and told to take a picture so I can prove the correct fuel in your truck. Really, cmon not that hard and not to be redundant but this is a problem that should be for the customer convince not your.

I was unhappy when picking up the truck. We used the 'express' pickup option through my phone. When we went to get the truck, we found the pickup area to be covered on ice. Not just a little, I mean there were sheets of ice on the ground as well as covering the entire truck. Luckily we had an ice scraper to get all the ice off the truck windshield. The other 2 trucks next to ours were also covered. This area should have been sanded and the trucks cleaned off by staff. It looks like they had been sitting there awhile. Someone can feel free to reach out to me on this matter. Thanks.

I returned the trailer on Thursday and then got a call on Saturday asking where the trailer was..then my receipt says I got billed until Saturday and should have only got billed until Thursday night when I dropped it off. When I dropped it off the girl said I was all set and didn’t need to do anything else.

Regarding equipment clean and well maintained, the back was not broom swept, the windshield wipers were poor and one of the tie down boards came unscrewed and fell down during transport. The van did not have a USB port so I could charge my phone, as that was my expectation so I did not bring my 12V adapter. The team is always friendly, helpful, and courteous.

When I arrived and rented the truck and tow dolly all the employees I worked with were great. Unfortunately the dolly they gave me had a flat tire, when I returned it after hours one of the U-Haul regional managers happened to be there and spoke with my wIfe and said she would be in contact with us. I then called Sunday morning to confirm the dolly was taken off my bill and was told that the dolly I returned was not the correct one. I gave a statement by phone Sunday but as of Tuesday I have not heard from anyone else at U-Haul about what they are doing to rectify the situation. VERY UNHAPPY

The customer service at Uhaul was beyond awesome. I accidently missed my returns time but they extended it no charge! I asked and got a free month of service for storage, awesome! The next day it started to snow I had a half hour to return the truck on time and tbey called and extended my rental no charge due to weather conditions. I had an amazing experience with this Uhaul location. Third time using, all times at Plainville location were awesome, unlike the Waterbury location. Recommended 5 stars!

After being a faithful UHaul user for over 30 years UHaul of Pinnacle Rock in Plainville really dropped the ball. I own a theater company in CT. and we rent trucks between four to six times a year for moving sets out to the theaters. The last two times we used this location, the after hours sign in did not work after 1/2 hour of trying on the cell phone. The next day I contacted UHaul corporate and they refunded the fee. One month later I rented another 28 ft. truck. I explained to the salesman what had happened and he told me to leave a note on the receipt if the same problem occurred. It did, I had with me a very tech savvy guy, neither of us could make the sign in app work. The next day I called the branch and the owner told me that that is their policy and no one else has any problems with the app and I have to pay the fee. I asked to speak to the complaint department and told me he is the complaint department. I called corporate and they explained that many times the app does not work. They told me they will handle it. That was over a month ago and still no word back. After over thirty years I refuse to deal with a company that finds this acceptable. I will not use them again.

I was told that if I brought the truck back later then 4 that there would be no additional charges and was charged $20 for late delivery. I've never heard of a 6 hour truck rental. Most vehicles and trucks are rented by the day or even 24 hours. Who can move in 6 hours?
