Customer service was great, really friendly and quick! However - your mobile process needs improving. Second time I've tried renting that way and both had to go into the office. For picking up and dropping off after hours it didn't work and wouldn't recognize my location which was turned on. I took photos to prove but was not able to follow your mobile process to return the truck at night. I hope to not receive a fee for not completing it online.BROOKE M.

Under the section I filled out online to return the truck I was asked if the charges were ok and said no because I was charged for a utility dolly which I did not use, need, or want, especially since I already paid to rent an appliance dolly. Even though I brought that up I was still charged. Maybe I filled out a section asking about dolly usage incorrectly on the return form but what's the point of asking me about incorrect charges if you don't listen and help out.JASON M.
Improve customer service and train employees better. At this location the manager and an employee (Shawn/Sean) lied and attempted to gaslight myself and my group in order to save himself when he did not check our faulty equipment. Manager was not helpful in fixing the situation or keeping Shawn accountable to his mistake.MICHELIE M.
The employees did not seem to know how to do their job at all. One individual in particular who is an older white male, that was a working Saturday January 15th AM used profanity and vulgar language throughout the entire reservation pick-up process including but not limited to â€œshitâ€ â€œfuckâ€ â€œgod damnitâ€ â€œI should not have come into work todayâ€. After 30 minutes of trying to look up my reservation I was told the truck I reserved was not there. This location and its workers are awful, if I could rate it with negative stars I wouldJohn T.
I went to pick up the truck at my chosen location. It was not there. The clerk had no clue about the reservation and rambles off a phone number for me to call. A very rude lady in this call told me the truck is at another location. Across town! The only other thing she said was you got an email and text about this . Which I didn't. So after the drive to the other location a man checked me in, walked me to the truck and said there it is. Back out and leave using this exit. Then without another word to me he went into the fast food restaurant next door. No walk around the vehicle or anything. Good bye U Haul. Hello Penske. There was damage caused by rodent droppings and damage to items. The rodents chewed pictures and rodent droppings on furniture. There was damage to my leather couch caused by rodents along with my mattress.Megan M. | Overall Experience
When I first called to ask what was available for the day the person who answered the phone had an attitude was not listening to my question that was very straightforward and easy then ultimately hung up on me or I could even respond. I ended up calling back and got a different representative by the name Phill who was the complete opposite Who won the pole wife alcohol and 830 very easily that question that I had asked before. After Phill answer the question I can't get location am I not be checked out it was on my way. we don't take the time to respond or review for those who don't provide good service first person to answer the phone way out of line clearly having a bad day Who was clearly projecting that back over to me when I called.JOHN R.

The truck I was given should be retired from the fleet soon. Transmission issues. A guide cable on the left side of the overhead door jumped out of its track leaving the door 60% closed with no more movement. After 193k+ miles it's been â€˜rode hard and put up wet'.WALTER M.

Day of pick up they said we had to pick it up in Pensacola, FL. when we got there they gave us an old truck when they had newer ones on the lot. We had to drive 6 hours to our destination. I want to share the excellent experience I had with Shaun in your N. Davis Highway location. I was set to have a hitch installed on Monday (11/22/21) for a sailboat that I was to pickup on Friday (11/26/21). The hitch was delayed for the original installation on Monday (11/22/21). On Wednesday (11/24/21), I received a call from Shawn to advise that the hitch was set to arrive around noon that day, that he was leaving to head out of town for the holiday (look at your calendar Thanksgiving was 11/25/21), that he knew I was preparing to pickup my sailboat that Friday, and that he was going to come in that afternoon just to install my hitch. I was floored! He was going to delay his trip out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday just to install my hitch so that I could pickup my sailboat on that Friday. Excellent service! I advised him that I had already delayed the pickup of the boat and we agreed to have the hitch installed today (11/29/21). Thank you to Shaun for your willingness to take the extra step to help a customer even when it would have affected your schedule. I have told several family/friends about his great experience and will be sure to refer others to you in need of a hitch. Thank you again!Timothy S.

You need to start buying some new trucks. This truck had over 136,000 miles and had a lot of histerisis in the steering. Also had a check-engine light on the entire time.JOHN B.
I reserved a truck 2 weeks in advance and received a call 20 mins before I was suppose to pick up the truck saying my time would be pushed back 4 hours. I hired movers and had family take off which was a HUGE inconvenience. I reserved the truck for 24 hours so common sense would mean I would still need it for 24 hours. I received a call from Dwight at the original drop off time telling me that it was not their fault that the customer returned the truck late and that I would further be inconvenienced by having to bring it back 4 hours early. I will never do business with this company again. Very ghetto and unprofessional! Customer service is definitely not the goal here. SADAretha H.

I bought many packing supplies because I was told if not needed just bring them in for a full refund. I returned the unused items but the owner would not give me my money back- he said because I lost the receipt. Even though I paid for them through their system with my credit card. BUT he kept all the boxes and paper wrap I returned to resell but for free, he would not return any of the money that I paid for them just two days prior. I bought & rented everything from this location- boxes, plastic wrap, paper wrap, 26' truck and a car transporter. GREEDY OWNER! PS... Check your fuel level before signing with this place, it was close to a quarter tank lower than what they noted on the paperwork.Marcolm D.

These ppl charged my CC 3 times for an auto transport and I've been trying to get in touch with uhaul; on hold 47 min one time & 40 min the next. Still haven't gotten any results. I've even emailed the contact on the contract receipt and no response. The issued auto transport was broken, roadside assistance scheduled but transport had to be towed and replaced. I had to go back to uhaul for a replacement and I've been charged several additional times on my card.EDWINA R.

Overall not bad. I am however shocked at the attempt to, in my opinion falsely charge for a surcharge for fuel usage. Thank god that I took pics of the fuel gage. I brought this detail to the attention of the associate when returning the vehicle and was told me problem. After I left I was charged an additional 40+. When I called to ask I was told I would to prove this by bring the picture to the location. So they could review. Make me wonder how often this scam takes place. There was supposed to be a lock inside the unit, but there wasn't. The light wouldn't turn on at the switch or by the chair. It looked like it was hanging from the wall and when I touched it it sparked. I reported it to the desk and one of them came to verify it wasn't working.
