DONALD MDon't lie to customers. I was told a 15' truck was the smallest one way rental. I was stuck so I took the agent at his word. The website shows I could have saved money by renting a 10' truck plus I wasn't aware of the $48 charge for insurance when my auto policy woul have covered me and the truck. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

DOUGLAS GI was charged 3 times double my invoice and stating I didn't return a furniture dolly that was never in my truck to begin with. This over drafted my back account and I still have not been reimbursed nor has the store manager returned my call 72 hours later.

LARRY HThe only issue I had was probably user error but the app wasn't very user friendly. I tried uploading pics as required both pre use & upon turn in & both times the app either froze up or wouldn't take my info. Anyway an associate took care of it after my struggles & that was that. The equipment was perfect for the task & I definitely will use Uhaul again in the future when needed.

DIMITRI VI did a one way rental. The pickup location was changed the day before my scheduled pickup date. I was giving an extra 15 miles, which I didn't need. I thought the equipment and location was guaranteed??? The staff at the pickup location could use a few smile and courtesy lessons. When I asked if he was going to hookup the dolly trailer before I left, he asked annoyed and bothered. The drop off location staff was nice and very helpful.

They also told me that I could have took it back to the location of rental and gotten it all changed but they couldn't do anything about it so I feel like the place I originally picked it up from caused me to loose my money and I feel like I should be entitled to a refund at their expense
WILLIAM WI’ve always had a good experience with my local U-Haul employees & facilities here in Charleston, WV and was happy when I learned that the old K-Mart building & parking lot on 4th Avenue (Patrick Street) was being updated & converted to new Climate Controlled U-Haul storage & rental facility as the location is very convenient for me and the facility is very nice.

RODNEY LI made my reservation online and was directions to pick the vehicle up at Patrick St., Charleston, WV location I was to pick it up at midnight and when I arrived at that location, I got online to go through the procedure of picking the vehicle up only to find that this location does not even have to share 24 seven option, I spent hours trying to get another vehicle. I was promised eight $50 credit. They tried to charge me double rate when my original reservation was $19.95 . attention and they changed it but did not issue the $50 credit and refused to give me a receipt that I was going to get the $50 credit. They informed me that corporate had to issue the credit.. Well evidently they lied about that because I have not received anything.
carolyn cI didn't get the text message with the link to go over the vehicles condition until 30 - 40 minutes after I had it. When I clicked on the link it said it had expired so so would have had no way to prove what condition the vehicle was in.
micheal wConvenient location, easy access to storage unit, well lit and secure, very helpful and courteous staff. Would definitely use this facility again if the need arises.
Gail M | Overall ExperienceOne employee in particular held a grudge for months and would never speak to me after my car was damaged at the facility. And immediately after the damage to my car, the manager on duty called a few staff into "his office" where they proceeded to watch the security video and laugh at me (I could hear them as I waited in the lobby). Not very professional... Aside from that, the manager Stanton and all of the other staff are great (especially Daylen!) and super helpful and friendly.

MICHAEL VFirst, there was water pooled on the parking lot from a main issue, which wasn't their fault. But, it's the first time I've ever gotten a truck that they didn't have it pulled up and ready for me. I had to hunt through all the rows in pouring rain to inspect and locate my vehicle, and the man at the counter was not helpful or polite.

I reserved a utility dolly because I have back and health issues, they did not have it when I went to pick up the truck and pads. When I asked the guy who I made the reservation with why the dolly was not available, he had an attitude and just said it's just not available and look the way and continued on with his business. He may know attempt to give me a discount or get the equipment that I reserved.

I looked up at your monitor and he was washing the vehicle so I went out and asked him if I was all set and he said "ya" I waited because I thought they had to inspect the vehicle. After a long day of moving it would've been nice to have been told I could just leave. The young lady that I checked the vehicle in from was great though and the vehicle drove great

However, I decided to end my contract because of the continuing price increases and diminishing differences between competitors. At the time I closed my unit, a uhaul 5'x6' was over $60. I found a climate controlled 10'x10' at a nearby competitor for only $90.

(Right hand doesn't always know what left hand is doing.) Overall, though, I definitely recommend them - they care, and that says a lot.

However, the only complaint I have is that the garage door to the unit never stayed open to make it easy to go in and out of. You had to have 2 people there most times, one to hold open the door and the other to carry stuff in/out. Next time I will just have to buy something to hold the door unit door open or use something to wedge it from closing on top of me. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Other than that, the automatic doors and carts to load were very helpful and I would use it again if needed.

ANGELA R | First ImpressionsI was so impressed with the storage facility! My mom was actually the one who set everything up, so I hadn't seen it initially. When I went to grab things out of storage, I was blown away with how nice the facility actually was. There was a large interior space and it was climate controlled. There were multiple access points, as well as indoor parking access, which, on a very hot day, was amazing to find! There were carts available to help tote boxes in and boxes out, so I didn't need to worry about having a dolly myself. Everything was incredibly clean and I felt very secure both in my possessions being well-protected and safe. My mom was the one that dealt with staff, and she was also very happy with each interaction that she had with staff along the way. Overall, I don't think we could have had a better experience (unless a genie had come with the unit, bestowing magical gifts while we were there 藍). Thanks U-Haul!

I believe it was the month of June bc I was only off 48 hrs in three weeks time. Overall my experience was good. Also I had my unit for a less value and they just started charging me more even before you sent a notice stating this. Gracias

Young sandy blonde female and large man with a Go-T, I cannot give names bc they refused to provide them, did the bare minimum to assist. I explained when I walked up I was transferring units, it was not processed as such. I was told if I wanted the transfer and credit from ky original unit applied to the new "I guess call the manager and get it done bc I don't know how". When said paperwork was finished, it was handed to me, nothing said, no new unit humber provides, nothing. When i asked for the unit info it was a huff, an eye roll and then she handed me a map, still no unit number. I literally had to ask her again, for the third time, if she can tell me the unit number so I can find it. This is the absolute worst customer service experience
