I have rented trucks before and no one has told me that i have to return the truck with the same amount of fuel that i took with. When i stopped at the location of uhaul , i told the gentleman that was working that i need the truck for 2 days.i rented the truck on 03/30At 5:30 pm, at 6:15 pm 03/31, i received a call from uhaul market street location and the lady said that i was supposed to return the truck by 5:30 pm 03/31 . Also when i rented the truck, there were several customers that walked in to return their trucks and the gentleman only asked for the keys, he never asked them.about fuel filled or not. The rental was for 29.99 a day. Why would i be charged 120 something dollars for the period 5:30 pm 03/30 to 6:15 pm 03/31?KAMAL A.

Was charged $250 for THEIR faulty key that broke off on the ignition. I'm not the hulk. I'm not strong enough to casually break a key in half. I was supposed to use one truck. And the guy at the counter had me walking the entire parking lot looking for the truck, even after i told him it wasn't out front. He then saw me standing outside and realized that i was right and the truck wasn't there. He went inside and got me another key of a truck that was already unlocked. The tank was at 1/4 tank. And i was charged $30 for fuel when they shouldn't have. Terrible experienceAbby G.

When we got there, no one was at the front desk to assist us. After 20mins of waiting, the male worker arrived . He was having a conversation on the phone, as well as trying to talk to us . Eventually he was able to help us out, gave me a paper and keys and told me that the truck was out front. He never gave me directions on the truck and I thought the paper was just a receipt. I had asked if the truck had full gas and he said yes, â€œ bring it the same amount of gas it is currently at â€œ said worker Deonte Mitchell. When we got to the truck, it was on empty. That is exactly how we brought it back. There were no instructions what's so ever given before about the truck . I made sure to take a picture of how I had received it, and how the gas tank was when we got back. By then, it was a different worker and he was trying to charge almost $70 additonal because of the missing gas when there was nothing there to begin with . We were able to fight off the additional charges but this was a horrible experience. The lack of professionalism and communication is ridiculous.malena A.

I included moving blankets in my online order and they were not included. The store said they did not have any in stock. That's ridiculous. I'm not even going to ask for a refund because I know it would not be worth the countless hours I spend with customer service, who all sounded incompetent and careless when I spoke to them. Beyond that, the U-Haul website originally brought me to the wrong location. Luckily the right location was only 2 miles away. This was a terrible experience. I had to call the Customer Service line because the app and the website WOULD NOT WORK after multiple tries on two different days. The employee at the first location was not available despite it being during the time I was supposed to be able to drop it off. I had so many issues, but finally was able to get the drop off changed to this location and everything was SO EASY! The location really does make a difference.Sabrina S.

The employee was not knowledgeable about properly attaching the trailer to the truck. And knew even less about securing the vehicle to the trailer. I did that myself, but there was a faulty latch on the trailer that I pointed out. During my rental, I had to fasten the faulty latch 3 times a day for 3 days. The drop-off location was unbelievably more unprofessional than the pickup location.JASON T.

Front desk was okay but the guy who was mounting the auto transport was a little too desperate and unexperienced . When I came back return it , he was in a rush telling me to park the auto transport exactly on the lines he wanted me to park. Not because it was affecting other parkings sports just because he wanted me to. He had a very bad actitud . I told him because of the haze and the rainy day I was able to park 100% backing up the auto transport. Who the heck is going to park 100% an auto transport? Are you kidding me? Remember it wasn't because it was an obstacle to another trucks or it was on the way you guys return the cars. Employees like those always scare customers with their bad actitud. Just a little advice for your employees. Tell them to leave the problems at home and not to bring to work otherwise they can another type of work !!! By the way , the $50 dollar credit it has not appeared on my account which you had to give it me because you guys again messed up my reservation. By the way, this day was messy with most of your employees. I girl called me saying that the auto transport wasn't there , saddle Brooke, which was the one I reserved and I had the confirmation number as well. She said it was in Paterson then she didn't admit it was your employees or systems errors/mistakes but me. This girl called me from the â€œhead quartersâ€ which she said it was located in Elmo wood park , NJ. I don't know but this girl was the worst person I have ever talked to. Her actitud was nasty and very unprofessional . She was treating me like if I was an stupid person who didn't know what I was doing and lastly she said to call down . I never disrespected her in any way but she did. The funny thing is she never said â€œI'm sorry it was our mistake â€œ she said just calm down . Headquarters employees now acting like nasty ?
