This was impossible, I was out state. I was then told the lock on the unit was to heavy and made the metal crack and made the unit appear broken into. 來. All is well. Just wanted this noted. Melody W.When I arrived to mobile pickup the truck, it was blocked in by several other trucks. The customer service gave me another truck but double charged me. The truck was not safe to drive, it was shacking when you step on the breaks e go over 40 miles per hour. I went to turn the truck in early so I could speak to a live representative. I explained to them they overcharged and the clerk had to wait for a manager. The manager arrived after I left and said he could not refund the money back to the card it was taken from, but he could send me a check in the mail. The entire experience was ALL BAD!!!

Regina M. | Overall ExperienceI came into the Park Forest location, I frequently use this location because of proximity. Rarely have I had to encounter dealing with an agent. I rented a van. I agreed to return the van within 24 hours, because that is what I've done in the past. I was done with moving earlier than expected. However I was close by another facility in Forest Park, and like times in the past. I followed the procedure to drop off the unit. I contacted the Park Forest location to inform them so that they were aware and to let them know I closed my ticket. Upon talking with the first associate, his immediate response was You can't do that! I expressed that I was given the option but at the time I wasn't sure if I'd be leaving it at another location. This was an option presented to me be the female clerk that was present. He responded making comments saying she's old as hell and making other shameful comments about her and proceeding to be aggressive with me. Being that the phone call was recorded per the message I won't go into all the details, I called at approximately 8:30am on 2/22 Please review. He hung up the phone on me by placing the call on hold without notifying me, seconds later another gentleman answered. I asked his name so that I could address him properly. He declined to provide his name. He began being aggressive and threatening how he was going to charge me an additional $800 for picking up the van. He's telling me what I'd better do....This is not only rude but it's disrespectful and intimidating behavior. This gentleman also made comments about the lady that I didn't appreciate and felt it was extremely unprofessional. As I'm talking he cuts me off, and hangs up the phone. I came to the store and ask for the manager. I felt this was handled way out of order, even as I was expressing calm and respectful behavior to navigate this situation. I speak with the Manager Jason Fanello. He began making excuses for them saying that they're frustrated with other customers. He even stated he was present during my conversation with the associates. I asked for their names and he refused. His response was l will talk to them, I'll let them know they cannot do that. I feel this is well beyond a coaching moment. There should be some accountability in place for that kind of behavior. Even as I was requesting information to get a resolve, I was threatened and was being intimidated by the workers. What's worse is the MANAGER mentioned to me that he was present during the specific phone call, he stood idle and watched this entire ordeal go on and did not step in and provide leadership and proper resolve. I could not in good faith recommend this place to a friend. I can only imagine how people have been treated like this or worse based off of this accepted behavior by your company.

If I should have to used another one of your storages it will not be a used up box truck. Also I had a problem getting thru the gate because of what ever reason my code will never work from the first day I arrived I always had to get one of the staff members to come out to open gate. Also for what you charge for rental it shouldn't be $50 dollars to cut a lock off especially when you don't allow them to cut lock off themselves. The call center rep told me I could send a family member to check in as long as they had my email. Not the case, I couldn't get in my storage unit. I made 5-6 calls for two days to finally resolve my rental. Waaay too stressful!!! Completely UNBELIEVABLY SCARY even. My time, energy, money, etc were totally disrespected. The computers didn't even know what was happening. Rep didn't know which facility was 24hrs. I could go on and on….. I'm appalled. SMH臘♀️

Once the unit was actually located by myself, the door was broken and was unable to be opened. I walked back to the office, and the staff member told me that the unit next to it was empty to use that one. I walk back to the unit and that new unit was in fact not empty. I walk back to the office to have the staff member help with the door on the unit I was assigned and the staff member determined that the spring to the door was broken. They had no additional units and I had to sit in their parking lot calling different places in order to find storage, while having my moving truck there ready to be unloaded. Ultimately I booked with Extra Space storage whose unit was clearly in much condition and all doors worked properly.

Things took a turn for the worse as I needed help/guidance to get my car off the transporter. I was told that they would not be able to help due to policy. I was informed that they could get someone over to help but I would need to pay that person $20-$30 dollars. I felt as if I was being scammed out of money. I immediately got on the phone with customer service to schedule another location for drop off. I also canceled my storage unit and requested a refund (which I'm still waiting on the reversal to be applied to my account). The reason for this is because I didn't trust them, and I've never experienced this type of customer service from Uhaul. Uhaul has always been my go to for storage and moving needs. Please fix this issue!

The associate inside the facility was very helpful and she was able to assigned me a new storage unit that wasn't assigned to no one else. She made the process very smooth and she was able to do it all while we loaded our items into the storage unit once we were finished loading up she came outside with the correct paperwork showing our new storage unit number. I am beyond happy with the service that she provided she was nice and helpful and she completed the task in a timely matter. See the reason why I waited this experience at excellent. The online process needs to be updated so another customer won't be assigned a storage unit that's already assigned to someone else God for bid if they came after hours wants to facility with clothes then they wouldn't be able to load the items into the storage unit plus they would have wasted all their time loading a uhaul for no reason.
