The trailer rental was a critical piece to a major weekend project. The trailer was built like a tank .. but trailered like a sports car. It was solid as a rock and easy to pull. you always fear that you might damage something you rent. This beast was built "not" to get damaged and cost you money at the end of the project upon return. Exceeded expectations for equipment rental.

Truck was full of ants. Inside and out. I told the counter rep guy who worked with me about it. He saw the ants crawling on the outside as well and said " when I drive the ants will blow off." from the top of the attic to the bottom going inside the truck. The truck also wasn't cleaned on the inside. I had to spray the inside of the truck with my own raid ant spray as the ants were crawling along the attic where my boxes were. Typical Florida.

Ants were crawling all over the truck. I told the uhaul guy that ants were crawling all over the outside the truck he says " oh they will blow off when you drive". Wow is all I can say. Also the truck was dirty on the outside and inside and wouldn't hou just guess ants were having a field day inside the truck where the attic is and of course where my boxes are. I had to buy raid to spray the truck down used a whole bottle. So no my experience with that location was awful. Should get some compensation for the aggravation but this is typical Florida customer service crap. So glad I moved from that state.

There was already gun on the back of the cargo van and the representative tried to blame it on me even to the point that she said " thats strange why is the gum soft"? well why is water clear?? i did not like her trying to blame me for the gum after i showed her that the gum was already there when i got the van.

The truck had a full ashtray. Smelled of smoke. Truck floor got so hot during the trip it burned my daughters and wife’s feet. Had to put a packing blanket on the floor to keep the heat bearable.

There was a location on drop off list I picked because it was closed when I went to drop off and there was no drop off box I put in park position and locked unit up and had the option to return via the mobile app however since I had a friend follow me there to reduce miles I drove my vehicle to bring Keys. I arrived there at 10 am when location was opening however did not arrive until 10:10 when the manager got there she told me that they don’t take U-Haul and they have asked several times to be taken off the list. Spoke to manager at Florida location explained to her my frustration she added miles to my contact but I asked her could anything else be done because now I needed to get a i Uber back to my car because of the error which cost 14.00 and I have proof of this . She referred me to this survey to express my issues I advise her I would definitely go on because this was ridiculous. For any future moves I will never use U-Haul service or any other products or services.

We rented a truck and tow dolly for our car, but the car didn't fit on the tow dolly. Eduardo Montenez Jr quickly helped us and helped change out the tow dolly for one that would fit our car. Kristina Ramos and Courtney were both very helpful as well!! Every one was very professional, very helpful and worked very quickly to get us on the road.

More employees working! The entire experience was not a very nice one. I had originally reserved a van at a location 5 minutes away from where we were moving furniture from. The day before, the location got switched to this location which was 30 minutes away. So, not only was it entirely out of the way, but once I got there, although I signed in online and signed the contract online, I was informed by numerous employees that I had to wait in line for the keys. I waited in line for AN HOUR. We had arranged for movers to come for a limited amount of time and this time waiting in line cut into this. I was the only customer in line who had made a reservation and checked in online and yet could not skip the line as the website advertised. Not really sure what the point of checking in online is if I still have to stand in line. It seemed as if there weren't enough employees to go around at this location. When I did get up to the counter, the man helping me mentioned that the truck assigned to me wasn't even on property. That ordeal took a few minutes to resolve and he had to keep asking around to open the lockbox for some more keys. When I did finally get a van, it was on empty. I had to immediately get a full tank of gas in the van as soon as I left the location. The man mentioned that I would have "$10 or something like that knocked off." I did not have this amount knocked off of the total (not that it would have mattered considering how expensive the whole thing was). When we returned the vehicle, we returned it with half a tank but did not receive a credit or reimbursement for this. Overall, I will be shopping around next time for pricing and experience ratings at other companies. This was a very disappointing experience for us.

It was fairly busy when I arrived for the amount of people staffed. There were maybe 8 other customers in the storefront with one gentleman greeting and handling all of the current people in the lobby. He did an incredible job despite being slammed with people waiting for service. The manager later appeared to help but it seems like the storefront could use some additional staffing to handle the customer volume. I was very impressed with the staff being friendly, calm, and super organized despite the volume of people lining up. This team is obviously well trained.

I don't understand why the check in also includes me waiting till the trailer is cleaned out and the air in the tires are checked before I could drop the trailer off and leave. Just had never had to do that before.

They told me I had two open invoices spoke with Nashville and Florida uhaul they said everything was ok. Until I get the recovery email the person I spoke with was very unprofessional I asked to speak with a supervisor she gave me customer service and the next agent said she thought everything was taken care of I asked to still speak with a supervisor I was placed on hold again and no one has reached out to me as of yet I got tired of being on hold and spending more than an hour on the phone.

It took way too long to check out the trailer. 20-30 minutes. I had reserved online and thought I could walk in and it be ready. There was only one person at the desk. Another employee came in and was behind the counter but when someone asked her for help she replied, "I'm off work." Other employees walked through but didn't acknowledge those of us waiting and didn't seem to care. The lobby had at least 6 customers waiting and no employee seemed to have any urgency and seemed to be moving quite slow. Once they finally got to me everything went smoothly.

I rented a 15 ft truck and car hauler online for 8 am for 10415 FLORIDA Ave. I also prepaid for it. Two days before pickup day I received a text that my pickup location had been changed to a furniture store on East Busch Blvd. 8 miles further away. The text said to call and confirm. I called and they knew nothing about it and kept saying, "we have no trucks". I volunteered the order number but they kept saying, "we have no trucks". Since they were clueless I called the Uhaul 1-800 number. He said not to worry, it was transferred because they had the equipment. Tuesday morning at 8 am I went to pick up my rented equipment. The place was closed, no answer on the phone and the only Uhaul equipment was 2 box trailers. I called the Uhaul 1-800 number again. They told me the place doesn't open until 10 am. I asked what genius transferred my 8 am pickup time order to a place that doesn't have any trucks, no car transport and didn't open till 10. He made a call and sent me back to my original Florida Ave pickup location. He said they had a truck but would have to find a trailer and bring it back. When I got to the Florida Ave location they gave me my truck and would call when the trailer arrived. At noon time my movers were done loading so I called to see if they found the car transport. They said yes, didn't we call you. I said no. No one called.

Vehicle return was a lengthy process. The staff were polite and attentive - unfortunately too few in number. It took most of 30 minutes to return the vehicle... Granted, I returned it 45 minutes prior to close on the last day of the month and there was literally a lineup of people looking to find/book a vehicle. Time was still excessive....

I was charged 11.75 for 1and a half gallons of gas was told that i didn't return same by a guy w obvious attitude problems unprofessional w huge gauge earrings in his ears. The first gentleman never said that he said get it as close as you can not it must be specifically back on that number. It was back way before time and cleaned out swept out. Really disappointed in uhaul will never use again. This was my first time using uhaul what an experience for a first time customer to experience with you. Get rid of mr attitude.

Ive had a good experience, but find your $10 a month fee for 24hr access steep n inconveinent. Perhaps allow for 3 after hours visits a month before a fee is leveied or similar.

Delivery of u-boxes was not on time as promised. Office person stated was “too busy” to return my calls and “didn’t have the number of the delivery driver.” It cost me $135 due to 5 1/2 delay!!

This facility was great. The store I rented my trailer in grapevine was not it’s on William D Tate. I filled a complaint and after several calls they didn’t resolve my complaint. So sad!!!

So thanks for spamming my email with 136 emails for this review ._. Waited 3HOURS for the manager to get my box UBox. ONE guy in lobby did EVERYTHING. Manager rude & unhelpful. Jock was the real hero.
