My container was lost for a few days, didn't arrive for days after it was scheduled to arrive. Staff was very nice and tried to help. I had to miss a flight then had to reschedule a flight which was 4 times the original cost and, missed a few days of work waiting. Needless to say I did receive it eventually and all in one piece thankfully. I drove down here in 24 hrs and it took about 3 weeks for my container to get here. Not sure if I would recommend doing this again. I was so worried I wasn't going to get my stuff, very unnerving.Doreen C.

I'd like to review the Largo location as well as the process to make adjustments and setting timetable for delivery and pick up. The labor higheri g process leaves much to be desired. So I'd say overall I'd pay a moving company in the guy rather than UBox as someone drive a forklift right through our box and cause irreparable damage. The delivery driver on this end said she'd email me some forms. Guess what no forms and she didn't care to look I. The box upon pick up. This location is fantastic. The staff is always efficient and professional. I would however note that the last several times I have rented a van they are dirty! This time was no exception. It required a full interior wipe down. There were cigarette ashes everywhere. Even a lollipop stick in one of the door cubbies. While I realize staffing may be an issue....we are in the middle of a pandemic. I normally wipe down my van and even blow out the back and interior. Not this time. I am sick of cleaning the vans on both ends of my rental!KARRIE R.

I had an emergency move, called in the AM to reserve both a truck and a unit. Both we were to go when I got there. In and out in about 10 min, friendly and informative employees. Highly recommend this location!emily l. | First Impressions
I actually have quite a few complaints in regard to this rental. The movers suggested by your site were over 2 hours late due to an issue they had with their first Uhaul move of the day. They were given the wrong information about their first stop as well as mine causing the delay. Both myself and EZ Movers and Shipping were able to trace the issue back to Uhaul. Uhaul also provided me the wrong payment code which caused a hold up going into the following day. The two young men that helped me move waited longer than needed for a very tough job. I also don't understand your policy of charging a months fee for one additional day. Given my experience with your reservation system I would very much appreciate my additional $129 rental fee returned to me. I will also be calling to make a complaint via phone and will be certain to leave numerous reviews describing how uncoordinated your service was. I paid over $500 in total to wait 3 hours for movers who I had to assist, a driver who could not initially find my house to drop off the ubox, and a ridiculous charge for one additional day. I might not be as mad about the additional charge if the rest of my experience wasn't so difficult. I will not ask EZ Movers to refund me because they provided excellent work and customer service which I cannot say for UHhaul.Lori J.

Open earlier on Sundays. In the van there is limited visibility on the passenger side. This becomes very important because of the sharp turn across 3 lanes south of the location. There is no solution to the location but maybe you can adjust the mirror.PHILLIP C.

I did not interact with this direct location. My Ubox was dropped off on time and picked up on time. I did not visit the location. I did have an interaction with someone regarding some billing and he was helpful but it was not easy to navigate the website and actually get to the person I needed to speak to easily. When i finally was able to speak to anyone regarding the entire process they were helpful however, it was aggravating to get to that point. Website needs to be updated!renee M.
The mobile pick up is annoying and not that easy to complete. It was much quicker to go in. We did end up having to get help and the guy working just seemed bothered by us and like helping us was screwing up his whole day (there was nobody in there) Not friendly at all. I get it customer service sucks, but take it out on the jerks, not the people treating you with respect. Also we had to pull over twice with the uhaul due to overheatingJASON I.

The vehicle we rented although clean and well equipped was "old" and the ride was very, very rough, very unlike the van I rented a week earlier. Both vehicles were approximately the same size and even allowing that one was a van and the other a truck, the difference in the ride was , IMHO, much more than one would expect. Perhaps that vehicle should already have been retired??GERARD P.

When I asked for a truck I told them I'd be driving in grass with the trailer and the truck they gave me wasn't 4x4 got stuck called office several times no help they wanted to charge me 325 dollars for a tow truck the manager was very rude hungup in my face twice I'll never use Uhaul againEdward B.

1. The wait on the phone to get any kind of help is too long. I waited over twenty minutes twice and still did not get my questions answered. 2. Being told to go to the website was not helpful. I could not get any answers as to where my u-box was from there. Nor was it intuitive as to how to schedule pick upof my u-box. 3. I was told more than once that I "should be able to get my u-box on x date" and when x date came, it was not available. 4. When on the phone for at least the fourth time to confirm a pick up that I was told was scheduled, I was told that I need to call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a pick up. I stated somewhat exasperatedly that I called during the previous week. Then the customer service rep, said she was just trying to tell me their procedure and the phone went dead. I had to drive to the pick up location to find out that they had no trailers still and their garage door was broken and they couldn't get the box out. 5. At that point, a woman named Diane offered honest, tangible help to expedite my obtaining the box. I appreciate her professionalism.Narda B.

Have a direct way to reach the store via telephone. It was close to closing and we wanted to reach the store, yet got redirected to a call center in NC. The call center did relay the message and the store did call us, yet we had already left our house to get to the store before it closed. Also, Tom was excellent, very professional and proactive . The Ubox containers arrived at my home I was selling on time(even earlier as Uhaul changed the drop off but on my moving day they were 2 hours late at having them at my new home to unload-so I wasn't happy about that but it coincided with the moving help through uhaul as the moving guys were even later at 2 and a half hours late.I got done signing my closing paper in half an hour at 12:30 then had no uboxes or moveing guys till almost 4:30.Our moving truck we rented was if course this early with noone to unload for 4 hours of wasted time making for a horrible moving experienceDebra D.

After some confusion, the N. Smithfield agent pivoted quickly and made the situation better than expected. I had called earlier in the week and was told the unit was on the ground floor. I asked the person to verify three times because I was told prior it was on the second floor and only a 5x10 unit was available on the first floor. Upon arrival, we were correctly informed the unit was on the mezzanine up 10 steps. No good, especially considering we were storing an upright piano (500 lbs.) Next issue: I had ordered the 5x8 trailer from the N Smithfield location for expediency purposes, then it got unilaterally changed to Cumberland. This added an extra 90 minutes to/fro twice of waste. As you probably know, wasting time on a moving day is not a good thing. Thankfully the person at Cumberland and N. Smithfield were very kind, polite and professional. If they had been disasters, the rating would have been POOR mainly due to the jerking around of reservations and conveyance of inaccurate information leading to undue stress. However, the EXCELLENT onsite agents saved the rating and greatly reduced the stressful situation. U-Haul REALLY needs to get the people with COMMON SENSE and CUSTOMER ORIENTATION on the phone and within reservations. Eventually more and more customers will realize there are other options with equivalent or less induced stress. This type of silliness undermines the U-Haul trade mark. Ultimately the behavior will lead to a Hertz-like business collapse. The customer interface must be crisp on all fronts to be long term successful. Best regards.Sam M. | First Impressions
