Only issue I had was. I only had the unit for one week. When I went to return it I was refunded nothin.

Serth LWhen you get told you get reimbursement for unused miles when you ask BEFORE you give them the estimated miles and then you dont its frustrating. I only used about 50 out of 100 miles and then I call and email uhaul directly with no response it's frustrating it's like throwing away 50 dollars would not recommend you should atleast make people aware of that.
JOHN SHighly recommend! The staff was professional, courteous and very helpful. The cargo van was new, clean and very easy to operate. I have rented vehicles and equipment in the past from other facilities and this was by far the best! Will certainly be back!

Was charged and extra $50 for the rental because of pick up and drop off and I still don't understand why I was charged when I had nothing to do with the changes. Truck was not properly prepared to be used, back door was still locked.

guohua lI was charged for gas when I refilled the van. Unfortunately, the van was not given to me on full so this issue is easily disputed by the location. Cars should not be rented on anything less than full as to avoid issue that this. I am very upset by this.

Lisa AI fine with U-Haul. It is hit or miss. I have rented several times over the years the truck I got today I got in a pinch they were able to work the schedule so I had a truck available for me. That was great however, the truck I had was duty in the cab, and it did not drive very well. The steering scene very loose and unsafe.

Alicia T | Online Move InMy experience was so bad with this store. I had rented a cargo van for one day. My initial plan was to return within the timeframe for the one day rental. I ended hurting my back and was not able to return the next day. I received a call from the store and was told that my rental was late. The lady who I spoke with was the head of U-Haul Rhode Island her name is Sandra Gardner. She immediately began drilling me on my breach of contract with them. I was caught completely off guard as I thought a late rental just meant they charged you an extra day. Apparently at this store if you're late they call to threaten you and speak to you in a manner that insulting, argumentative and completely unprofessional. I told Sandra I had no intention in keeping the van any longer than I had to but I was waiting on help because I was not able to finish moving on my own. I asked her to explain what the process was on late rentals because the way she was speaking to me made me feel like I had committed a great crime. She was belligerent, rude, combative and all she did was threaten me and my wife. I live 5 minutes from the store, the van was parked at my house. I simply was waiting i On a few people to come help me finish so that I can return the van as soon as possible. To be threatened and spoken to in this way was truly unacceptable and grossly inappropriate. It's a sad day when a person like Sandra Gardner is the representative of a company like this in RI… In summary I fully understand the contract I signed and had every intention on fulfilling that agreement, but to be treated this way for being late because of an injury is ridiculous. Will never do business with this store again. Currently looking to file a complaint against Sandra Gardner…
JOHN MI am not sure this was the UHaul representative's fault but I booked a one-way truck for one day and was charged 2 days insurance. Both representatives at UHaul were very nice and tried to fix the computer to allow for one day's insurance but it wouldn't allow it. So as not to hold up other people any longer, I paid the 2 day's insurance. What happened? The truck said "low tire pressure" shortly after getting on the road. My husband stopped and put air in the tire but the "low pressure" reading never went off. The transmission seemed as though it was slipping. My husband was nervous driving this truck. It needs to be serviced.

SUMAN TI rent very frequently and only rent from U-Haul based on the legacy of outstanding service provided by the team at this location. They are professional, efficient and friendly; almost makes me feel like I am borrowing a trailer from a neighbor. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Timothy MNothing against the pickup location, but I had booked at a location closer to my home. Only found out otherwise because I went and checked for myself the day before. Telling someone you're going to call them by 5:00 in the evening for an 8:00 a.m. pick up is unacceptable when you're changing their plans. Also they changed my drop off location which was inconvenient and unacceptable. I will likely not use U-Haul again for this reason. But that's nothing against this location or the people who work there. It's large it's clean it's easily accessible and he got me in and out very quickly.
BRANDON PWe were not told up front that there was a $25 cleaning fee at the end and they just charged our credit card. Not ok. Also, the engine light was on the whole time we had the vehicle. I give Uhaul a 2 1/2 stars.

SCOTT FI had an issue with the gas tank gauge indicator per the contract. I took pictures before I left, but didn't report it using the link texted to me because I didn't have much time. I called And reported it when I dropped it off, but no one was able to help me. It wasn't a significant difference, but it was still annoying that it was not accurate and management was not flexible To reimburse me for the difference.
JONATHAN PDid not render my guaranteed reservation for a storage unit. Had me running around looking for storage in truck then said storage was available. I was offered a day of truck rental free of charge and then the manager decided to reverse it and charge 3 days for truck rental. Bad business!

RALPH MI specifically ordered a 26ft truck rental because it would perfectly fit all of my belongings. Get in the truck and it wouldn't start. The employee offered to jump the truck, but if it's dead and allegedly was running the day prior, jumping the truck wouldn't solve the actual issue (alternator, battery, or worse) and likely put me in an even worse bind. I had to be downgraded to a 20ft truck as a result of the mechanical troubles. This resulted in a waste of 3 additional hours of my time because of the improperly functioning vehicle and having to add another trip to my already stressful move. On top of that, this location had no moving blankets! I pre-ordered 2 dozen and only received 11! Not even a full dozen! This location gave me a small discount but to be honest, I'm unhappy with the experience and came out of it stressed out even more. I will NOT suggest this location to my worst enemy. Ever. Shame.
Christopher GThe truck was given to me nasty and at a half a tank of fuel. I returned the truck with a half a tank of fuel and they marked it down as below the half a tank and then charged me $37.50. I gave it back and better condition than I received it with just as much fuel in it as I received it with. I will not use your service again and I will let everybody I know hear the experience but I had. Otherwise it would have been a good experience.
Paul HI reserved a van in May. When I went to pick it up, I was charged almost $100 more than my quote and I lost 100 included miles. I want a refund or I will not be renting with Uhaul again after a decade of doing so.

PAULO NThe air conditioner discharged dust, causing allergies. One set of vent louvers was broken off. The seats were sticky. The padlock was broken prior to our rental, not noticed until we used it. Were were wrongly charged $50 for it, even though we did not cause the breakage.

There should be some type of number that you can call after hours for assistance.

Imelda L | First ImpressionsThe storage room I had was a room inside the giant warehouse type building, which is definitely a plus because you were totally out of the elements while accessing the storage unit. The building is not heated but it never got too low or too high a temperature which was also a plus. The manager of this facility was also vey friendly and helpful when needed. The only negative was that I am tall, 6'2" and I could not stand totally upright within the unit and I actually hit my head on the sprinkler head, located on the ceiling while I was there once. So, if you are tall, be very careful that you don't hit your head. There are also convenient parking areas that are at different heights to the loading doc, based on the vehicle you are driving. We used carts (like at Home Depot) to transfer our things.

Where equipment like carts were kept; and how all cards and keys were used. Went over rules, hours, etc. And said he would be happy to help if things changed. The unit was very clean, exactly as described online. I reserved the unit online and my reservation was waiting when I arrived on the date picked for move in. Would recommend U-Haul for anyone looking for storage. Prices very reasonable compared to other storage companies. Would highly recommend.

Then a day after I am normal charged I was hit with the payment automatic drawn out of my debit account, putting me in a negative draw. Now I am waiting for the payment to finalize so I can dispute it with my bank.

The building was repurposed from another business, and in my unit some nails from where the old business had a wall still had their heads sticking up in the floor, making it a little difficult to slide some items into my space. This could easily have been resolved at the time the building was repurposed using an angle grinder. To reiterate, the above is not something the employees had any control over. There's a man named Howard Hewitt who works there who helped me while I was with my two children and he helped me with the trolley to my car and I didn't even ask him. Things like that make a difference, especially to an overwhelmed mom with two small children! Every time I've seen him he is working hard and cleaning everything. One of the kindest humans I've ever met.

Went home to get the cash then was told I needed a military ID or passport to leave with them until we returned the truck. Then had to have my son show up with a debit card. After emptying my storage at uhaul which I only had for 6 days out of the month was told they don't Reimburse for unused days. Well ain't that some double dipping. RENTER BEWARE. Find a local non commercial company to do business with that take time to explain everything at one time. Will never do this again. U store it that leave a Box trailer at your house then transports it when your ready. NEVER AGAIN U HAUL. TRY TO RESOLVE. HAHA ANOTHER JOKE ON ME

I am out of there and the last letter I got from the office said you owe me $10.10 and I would like my money. My bank sent the checks every Friday for my payment and for three or four month I was told my checks were not received when they were. So I am glad to be out of there.

The only negative feedback was one of the bathrooms at the storage entrance had overflowing bins and bathroom was dirty in the morning. When I went back at the end of the day the state of the bathroom did not change. Also, the one way 20 feet truck needs work on the transmission. It never changes appropriately.

You should really reconsider your late policy and the exemptions for long term customers. I will never even use uhaul to move again. That experience was a disaster also bc of unwarranted and unknown fees and rules. Get it together uhaul.
