The online check-in system sucks. Also, there is signage for equipment drop off, but no signage for when you are picking up. Terrible experience.

It's been a while since I've used your services, and boy...have you changed! What a terrible experience. The truck was fine, but everything before and after was somewhere between an imposition to infuriating. Never again. AND...I was quoted $19.95 and you charged me $80! It was too late for me to find someone else. I had the thing for less than 4 hours! I put $50 of gas in it! $200 for a 4-hour rental???! NEVER EVER AGAIN. I feel sooo ripped off.

GAs tank said 1/4 full but it was well under that. First thing i had to find was a gas station. Minor point, the associate told me i would get 10 miles per gallon. Having driven things of this size in the past, I thought closer to 6-7. I put in 37 gallons to go 273 miles. Otherwise, the people were helpful and the experience was very good.

This uhaul is by far the best one we deal with. My company rents uhauls several days a week, and this location is by far one of the greatest drop-offs/locations to deal with. Large store, always have what we need, and staff is super welcoming and great. We go out of our way to deal with this location. Highly recommend them compared to the 100s that we’ve dealt with.

The app does not let you connect unless you are the store’s wifi. The wifi is not good. I waited in the rain (the snow the last time I rented from here) trying to get it to work in order to turn in my vehicle after hours. I ended up leaving it and staying on hold for 20 minutes with the U-Haul 1800 number to confirm my turn in. Not a great system.

Returned vehicle and man took keys never did a walk around said i was all set then sends me a 800+ damage bill.. not once did he do a walk around like other locations have when my son rented I don’t understand and I never saw anything so I have no idea

My dude, Cody, hooked me up with a dolly when he didn't have any and didn't have to! Saved my back when it came time to move the boxes! Best customer experience around! Come to think of it. Everyone on his team has a great attitude towards guests with a "I got your back" vib. Keep up the amazing vib guys.

Get rid of that customer service rep they hire for afternoons he rude dishonest and thinks he the boss he is no good for there company but everyone else was nice polite clean and welcoming. But that dude they have for the afternoon .turn around and don't give them your credit card facts he is a very dishonest smart mouth human being .

No one mentioned a damn thing about smoking but because I smoked half a cigarette on the way back to the U-Haul office they wanted to charge me an extra $25. I will never rent from U-Haul again if they don't make it right. It says on Google there's no problem smoking in U-Haul trucks as long as you don't leave ashes or burn holes in anything. Which I did not.

I don’t know if you could improve in today’s world. The staff did great and if they had more qualified people to speed up the service that would be nice. I think the people who helped me were great. If they doubled equal quality staff my wait time would be reduced. But in today’s world I think that would be hard to do.

Young man at drop off was courteous and helped us right away even though he was backed up cleaning vehicles that were dropped off prior to our arrival close to closing time. Pulled up late to other sites in prior experiences where they appeared more concerned about clocking out. He was very professional.

The HUMANS at the storage in North Lansing are BEAUTIFUL. My mother passed away in the winter. The first men in November were very VERY helpful. I came back to remove my belongings from my unit in May. They helped me navigate my life some more with love and grace. Thank you

The outside could be given fresh paint, not to .mention the storage garages looked horrible on the outside. Doesn't give a good first impression or show pride in one's work.

I would have to say the way it’s run right now. There really is no need for improvement. The help is the nicest of any Uhaul‘s. I’ve ever been to they would do anything for you and every time I go in there to rent some of them are outside cleaning trucks cleaning the lot they’re constantly, moving and doing to improve everything over there it is a great place to rent and do business with and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to rent a U-Haul. It’s a great great location and great people working there.

I waited in the lobby over half an hour to pick up my truck that i had reserved and checked in online because the ONE employee was helping another customer….for over half an hour! That didn’t bother me. The lone employee raising his voice and getting combative with me instead of giving me the courtesy of a simple “i’m sorry about your wait”… THAT bothered me! I was hoping to give him a hug when i returned the tuck and offer to take him to one of my MMA classes where he could learn some manners…but he was gone…. It was the WORST customer service i’ve receive from ANYWHERE in a long time 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️.

One of the guys at the Waverly location found my wallet in the truck that I left behind by accident and when I got to the store I was completely shocked after I looked in my wallet... The guy was actually a honest good man because he never stoled one penny from my wallet and I had over $100 cash in it. I'm so thankful to this guy!! Of course I gave him a tip for the honesty 🫶

Raise the standard of the equipment cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicles. The staff guy was aware of the tire system monitor failure but only acknowledged that after I asked him if they would pressure up the tire that was creating the error message.

Greg, had a hard time getting me through the process seemed very slow and difficult for him!! Some 35 to 40 minutes my time valueable more training is needed. I’ ve been coming to that location for 20 years and never take this long to Process me!!! Not happy customer!!!

Vehicles should be no smoking. The vehicle smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. The vehicle also had an engine light on and major rock chip in windshield.

The app was really slow to self check out and check in. The return space for trucks was full and it was tough to get the truck into the parking lot to return at 7pm.

Drive in front of my unit was water and mud which was splashing up on door and my lock. Lock was getting very hard to open due to water and dirt inside it . At some point I’m going to need something from inside my unit and I’m gonna have to have them drill out the lock turning a 5 min stop into an unexpected half hour or more

I’ve been in a long time U-Haul buyer I am using renting trucks from you guys I drove a truck from Florida and piggyback from Tampa to Clearwater Michigan had a little difficulty what’s the tires it was a brand new truck they took me from Tampa to Georgia two days cause the tires One tire had a bad bleed and your balance is off balance .I call made A guy come out and change it he said your front end is off alignment I it from Middle of Georgia to Clearwater Michigan and one day and I had to go to Dewitt Michigan because your U-Haul place was on 27th in Lansing. You guys said you were going to reimburse me when I did that and August but I never got reimbursed for the trouble on sorrow but Use U-Haul.I asked the store person if I could deliver trucks to state to state she told me to go to grand Rapids I would love to do that I love driving my number is 239-293-5870

I tented a storage unit and truck bcuz I had 24 hours to get my belongings from my current residence. I paid for the storage specifically ask the gentleman before I left if the storage would be unlocked before I got back because U-Haul lock was on it and he said yes he would take care of that. This was 2 hours before they close I come back with a whole entire load out of my house and the lock was still on it oh, they were already closed oh, so I couldn't drop my belongings off to go back and get the rest of my things. The next morning I waited over 3 hours just to find out that this door is rented was already rented and it took me another two hours to find a new storage. Why I got a new storage I do not know because I lost all my belongings because I didn't get them out of my current residence in enough time. So out of my entire house all I got was the things from the shed. And I also only got a refund for the storage unit. Considering I had to pay for the moving truck but yet didn't get to use it because I had nowhere to put my things. He don't have to worry about that now cuz they're all gone, thanks again U-Haul

My only complaint is that the door on my unit tended to get stuck. But any time I couldn't open it myself the staff were more than willing to help me out. So overall it wasn't a detriment, just a slight annoyance.

I tried branch employees....national call center...and going through your Facebook page....I get no solutions just empty promises and ME having to constantly call cause no one apparently is interested in service.

The staff were great. The storage unit was filthy; glad I had a large broom and time. I also am concerned that I have to sit on the ground to see my lock combination and when it snows both I will be cold and the lock will be covered in snow.

When we would go to our unit there would always be an extra lock on our storage unit. There was NEVER ANY REASON FOR IT. We paid for 24 hour access, never did we pay late and the general manager would put the extra lock on our unit so we couldn't get into when we wanted. We would ask the young man that was working and he had no idea why the extra lock. Also when we took our storage elsewhere there was mold all over all my stuff and the floor was wet. Destroyed alot of my antique furniture Destroyed. I will never recommend this place for storage units.
