I have two bad customer experience that I want to share with this location in a day. First, I fuelled the rented truck before returning it to the assigned location in the receipt paper yesterday. The fuel gage had to be right after the half gage as it showed in the receipt, so, I took a photo of the gage and panel after fueling. However, this location charged me $12.93 after an hour due to insufficient fuel. So, I called and talked with Tara in the location and asked to check the gage one more time. After recheck, she admitted she misread the gage and apologized for her mistake and promised to refund the money. But, it is not refunded yet. The second bad customer experience with this location was another representative called me a day after I returned the truck. I felt like he interrogated me when and where I returned the truck yesterday because they could not find it. He kept asking me, "Did you return the truck in another location?". So, I answered them I returned it at the right location yesterday around 1 pm and talked with Tara. Then, he just okay and hung up even without . any apology. I want to report this experience and request customer service to help me and make sure to refund $12.93. Gracias.Seong Uk P.

My experience was AWFUL!!! Billed incorrectly, triple what I was told. Screw up and double billed. Called several times, got one helpful person once who said manager would call me back. Got call from manager Tracy on my voice mail, said wrong billing was retracted and a mark down of my correct billing would be made for my trouble. Billing was same as the first one. Tried to call three times, automated answering service went dead or dropped call each time. Went back to location in person and asked for Tracy. Was told she wasn't there. Was very angry with clerk who was same one who obviously checked me in incorrectly on Monday,. Billed for exactly 40 miles when it was way less than that. Warned her to get Tracy to contact me ASAP to fix this thing a second time! I'll never go back to this site.!!!! I will blast you all on social media if this isn't made right! They have a "truck return" area you are supposed to wait at. No one came out so after 5 minutes I went in and the employee yelled at me to go back to the truck. Not too friendly, and not sure if they billed me extra or got gas charges right because I got not paperwork.paul J.

I received one month of free storage with a truck rental. This is a very nice perk for renting a truck. The U-Haul facility was clean and well maintained. I ordered a mobile pick-up for 7:30 a.m. When I tried to pick up the truck the mobile app stated it wasn't available until the site opened at 9. I called customer service and they stated there were no keys left for the truck. They then sent me to another location stating they were open. When I got there they were closed. I ended up having to wait till 9 at the original location. I had people set up to help me move so this was a major inconvenience. When I did bring up the mistake to both customer service and the actual site, I got very little response or information as to way it happened. I've worked in customer service most of my life so I didn't yell or scream or take it out on the people that probably had nothing to do with it. But it was not a pleasant experience.ROBERT N.

Only issue was the 1/4 of a tank of fuel policy. This was not explained to me at time of rental. The vehicle I was given had just a 1/4 tank of fuel. I traveled maybe 20 miles round trip. On return I was asked about the fuel of the vehicle. I did not oat attention and was advised they would charge a per gallon fee to get it to where it was at the beginning of my rental. Due to the situation I was fine with that idea. Then I was told in a not so nice way that if it's below a 1/4 I would be charged a penalty and the per gallon cost. Hell you gave it to me at that level. And you should probably make sure your customers are aware of that at the time of rental.Victor B.

Dropped off truck at 10:30 am a day early with promise of an email notification. No email. Called later in the afternoon and I was assured that I would have confirmation within 10 minutes. Nothing sent and the U-HAUL app showed the truck was still in service. Decided to return to the facility at 5pm and the truck was still at the spot we dropped it off. The unit has not been checked in. The young lady at the desk took care of checking it in and closing the contract. Still no email confirmation as promised. The APP however shows the equipment returned. Not a big deal but a bit disconcerting.Carl M.

I had an appointment scheduled for 730am. When I arrived I was told the installer guy didn't start until 9am. I waited. He came and installed the hitch. When he said it was compete I accompanied him to my car which was still on the lift/ramp. He proceeded to pull it down at which point we heard a bang and scraping. He pulled it back up, had to work on another 15 -20 minutes or so. and said he foprgot to attach something and not everything was OK. It was not. The car now has a loud rattle around the exhaust and is significantly louder that when I brought it in. I took the car in for its 30,000 mile interval at my shop and asked him to look at it. He said the exhaust was bent and is not banging against the frame. Clearly this occurred when the installed pulled my car down the ramp prematurely without rehanging the exhaust properly. I had a uhaul hitch installed on another vehicle at a different location and it was flawless. I am not satisfied with this location, the poor job they did and then saying everything was OK, when clearly he made a mistake and did not inform me of what had happened.John T.
I had to physically go to location to arrange because Uhaul would not connect me to local store. Local store had to follow company protocol which included not giving me location of drop off store until AFTER arriving at destination in a very big city. Drop off did not exist . I found a different location for drop off. The Information on website is not current. I talked with 8 separate Uhaul people before completing a one day move involving only 1 truck and 1 dolly because their records did not accurately reflect the return.LESLIE H.

This UHAUL COMPLETELY DAMAGED MY CAR. THE employee gave us a Tow Dolly that was too small for our car causing it to almost fall off on the highway multiple times. And eventually it led to my car being Damaged underbody. NOW THEY REFUSE TO PROPERLY PAY ME FOR THE DAMAGES. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM UHAUL. I booked my order online on Tuesday and showed up Saturday to find out there were no 15' trucks because the online does not inform the facility of orders until the day before. I ran into an issue with an Auto Transport shortly after picking it up. With the new check in and drop off procedure that uhaul has incorporated, the team here was unable to identify the issue before sending it out because the customers are to drop off and park equipment now instead of the uhaul members dropping it off. I notified the team, brought it back and they swapped it out immediately after noticing the issue with the trailer. The Manager Tracie, Lindsay, and everyone at this location that were involved, are great to work with!! I'm so happy this facility is here! As a former Uhaul Store Manager, I can honestly say that this facility and team compliments the area!! I've lived in Fishers for almost 8 years now, and this location puts the other uhauls to shame!! My only suggestion is to add more space for the outdoor vehicle and RV storage!Rahmel F.

UHAUL IS THE WORST MOVING SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. (Even of this gets deleted or not placed on their website I will be posting it to both yelp & Google review pages) My husband and I requested a truck for a 2 bedroom apartment moving from Ft Wayne to Noblesville. I got confirmation codes sent to my phone two days before moving. I even called BOTH locations to confirm our reservation. My husband and father in law show up the morning of moving to get our truck from the Fort Wayne office. THEY DIDNT HAVE IT. The stupid staff member said "oh we were suppose to call you yesterday about this. We don't have it." They refunded us but what were we suppose to do for a TWO HOUR TRIP down to central Indiana? So we call around to the other Uhaul sites closest to us (even 50 mins out) and we even called the Nobelsville office to beg for a truck. We thought about driving it all the way to Fort Wayne. We were that desperate. EVERY SINGLE office told us they were sold out of every truck, van, trailer, etc. ANYTHING. Thankfully the Nobelsville location gave us the month free of rental for storage, but I will NEVER AGAIN use this god awful company. And I will be telling everyone I can that both of these locations are incompetent & whoever was working on Aug 13th should be FIRED - specifically the Fort Wayne Clinton street one.Alexandria G. | First Impressions

You can offload your truck after 5pm because the staff will lock the main entrance and your card couldn't have access to let you in, you have to walk through the side door which means you can take in heavy stuff like couch or anything that is wider than the side gate. This doesn't make sense as it renders useless the access card.
