UHAUL IS THE WORST MOVING SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. (Even of this gets deleted or not placed on their website I will be posting it to both yelp & Google review pages) My husband and I requested a truck for a 2 bedroom apartment moving from Ft Wayne to Noblesville. I got confirmation codes sent to my phone two days before moving. I even called BOTH locations to confirm our reservation. My husband and father in law show up the morning of moving to get our truck from the Fort Wayne office. THEY DIDNT HAVE IT. The stupid staff member said "oh we were suppose to call you yesterday about this. We don't have it." They refunded us but what were we suppose to do for a TWO HOUR TRIP down to central Indiana? So we call around to the other Uhaul sites closest to us (even 50 mins out) and we even called the Nobelsville office to beg for a truck. We thought about driving it all the way to Fort Wayne. We were that desperate. EVERY SINGLE office told us they were sold out of every truck, van, trailer, etc. ANYTHING. Thankfully the Nobelsville location gave us the month free of rental for storage, but I will NEVER AGAIN use this god awful company. And I will be telling everyone I can that both of these locations are incompetent & whoever was working on Aug 13th should be FIRED - specifically the Fort Wayne Clinton street one.Alexandria G. | First Impressions
Being provided an exact return time and paperwork when vehicle is returned is preferred vs getting email with information on it later. Vehicle was returned at 7 AM but paperwork shows returned at 7:26 AM. Luckily. I was not charged any extra fees, but it should not appear I was late when I was on time with the return. Otherwise, everyone was friendly and helpful. Very satisfied with the overall experience.Angela J.
I did the truck share thinking it would be more efficient only to find out it wasn't at all. I waited for 25 minutes to be â€œverifiedâ€. I also had to wait in line for 30 minutes because changed my time from 1 hour to 3 hours the night before, and I needed it to be corrected back to my original time. It was a very frustrating process. I think I had more problems with the Truck Share agent then the location. Hope this can get resolved for others, so they can get where they need to on time.Dana O.
The windshield was full of bugs. Also your newer trucks should be used for long distance trips. This was older ans beat up some. Need USB ports not 12v lighter ports.Dean R.

- I saw a slot for the contract above the slot for the key return, however; it was unclear if I needed to put my copy of the contract in with the key or if that was to keep. Ultimately, I put the contract into the drop-box just in case. - Prior to use, I noticed that the vehicle had a patched gash along the left side near the back end. The truck operated correctly, regardless of the flaw. * 22 Miles were driven. * Vehicle was dropped-off 3-minutes prior to estimated return time. * Gasoline was refilled to starting point, if not higher than the starting point. :) Over-all a smooth experience with U-Haul.Cory G.

I had no way to calculate whether price was fair. I was never told how much it would cost per mile and I don't think I drove nearly the amount of miles the fee covered. Also, Moving Help took money from my charge card prior to work being done, and the vendor did not show up to do the work.James G.

Girl working at location was RUDE. Told me I was interupting her lunch. Appeared to be too many things at once and I was clearly annoying her by not knowing exactly what I needed. The wait was a but long both checking in and out. Otherwise, the van was clean and well maintained, it seems. Service was pleasant. We just waited in line 20 minutes, no more than 30, for sure.Theodore A.
I love the people that worked there. They were friendly, helpful. As much as i love to do business with this location, i didnt like the truck. Frightening at best. I would still use this company once more, perhaps for a different truck. The truck wouldnt start. Took 2 hours when uhaul tow got to us, brakes were not good. I first went to Carmel uHaul location. I tried call them all day to ensure they were ready for me. no one answered just voicemail. I left 2 voicemails and no response. When I arrived at my time in the evening, the code did not work, it opened the wrong box and I could not get my truck. I called uHaul support who tried helping me in troubleshooting, they eventually sent me to Noblesville to pick up my truck. that location which was great. The employee that checked out a trailer to us sent us away in an unsafe condition. The trailer tongue was so low to the ground she said it may drag one the ground some but it should be ok. Immediately after pulling away we.realized there was no way we could use this setup for an out of state pickup. We had to pull the trailer home and switch vehicles we were pulling with which meant everyone could not go on the trip. This location was no help in flipping the hitch or anything else to make the trailer safe. Ironically this was the same location where I showed up for my appointment to install the hitch and was told the person that installs them does not work on that day and wouldn't be able to do it for 3 days. I will not be using this location for anything else.Randall S.

the drop off location was changed further from my original, I arrived, started online check in. A attendant said it wasnt necessary, that she would inspect, check it in and I'd get a receipt in 30 min. I received nothing! It was never checked in NO ONE CALLED ME! Toll free number was no help and I had to return to the rental location in Noblesville and spend 45+ min waiting while they located my contract and checked me back in. We got lucky and the ladies working were still on site to help me. I never got a code to pick up my van. It kept saying someone will hand deliver it in the AM. There were also no furniture dolly's but the website let you select them for that location. The staff was helpful and drop off was easy but will probably not do the 24-7 pick up again lolNatalie W.

The experience I received was poor at best, the location for a corporate facility/location lacks in customer service, professionalism, empathy, need I go on? Over the years I have rented quite a few U-Hauls, and this is my 2nd in the last 60 days (same location) and 3rd in 6 months. In Flint Michigan, I misplaced a receipt in Jan when I moved my folks to Noblesville for some dishes boxes and being it was purchased at a neighborhood location, I was told they were not on the same system. They did try inputting my card info to try, but nothing come up. Being we were moving again in July as we did, I didn't say anything and kept them. For this rental, I called and spoke with one of the ladies and mentioned I would be late do to having to pick up my personal vehicle that was being serviced and took longer than expected. She was a bit short with me on the phone however, said she would update the system. When I arrived, she did not update the system as she said she would and the representative was a bit brass with me and rather than asking one of the ladies if I called, said there's nothing in the system and was unprofessional in their approach. We check out, confirmed everything and then I walled out frustrated to the truck. Getting into the truck I thought I better check the back to see if their was a hand dolly. There wasn't one in there, and I was not given one while checking out. Going back into the location, the rep was helping a different person and didn't even ask if I had a question as I stood there. A different person come from the back and helped, we went to look for one and none available. The rep helping me told me my choices were either, change for additional money for an appliance dolly or refund me my dolly price. Guess I didn't have a choice, so I elected the appliance dolly. In returning the equipment, the lady who checked in our truck asked if there was anything else. I said yes, we bought too many large clothes boxes and needed to return two of them. Being we packed up the receipt by accident, I could not produce the contract number that she was asking for however, I provided the day 7/7/22 of when we both it, and asked if she could look up the card and said no. She said 7/12 was the furthest she could go back and I gave her the exact dollar amount and what we bought ($93 worth of boxes ... 1 small bundle and 4 large clothes boxes). My wife went back today, spoke to the guy who sold them to her and said without the receipt even though he sold it to her, he could not return it or help her. This is the type of customer service I would expect from a neighborhood dealer, not from a corporate store/location!JEFFREY J.

Try maintaining your fleet of moving vehicles the front alignment needs done and even a full load the truck bounced like riding a rocking horse and it also had no turn signals try changing lanes with no turn signals.JERRY J.

I think this locations needs to market itself better. It is a one stop shop and of the highest quality of any uHaul or any storage/hauling facility. This would create even more traffic and increase revenue so you can higher more people especially like James.TODD P.

Was told nothing could be done since it was a â€œtrickle down effectâ€. Requested an appliance dolly to move specific items and received a smaller furniture one in its place that would not work for the item. You can offload your truck after 5pm because the staff will lock the main entrance and your card couldn't have access to let you in, you have to walk through the side door which means you can take in heavy stuff like couch or anything that is wider than the side gate. This doesn't make sense as it renders useless the access card. I don't see the purpose of the access card if the main gate where truck can offload stuff will be shut at 5pm, it means you can't offload after working hours.OLADIPUPO D. | First Impressions
