Barbara G.Despite seeing the no smoking sign on the window of the truck I rented, the inside smelled badly of cigarette smoke. It made me nauseous and uncomfortable the entire ride. Opening windows or using air conditioning helped, but not completely. There need to be more signs and warnings about not smoking. You cannot get smoke out of fabric so maybe you need specific vehicles that are completely non smoking. It honestly made me question whether I would rent from you again because of how sick I felt.

Victor L.Service at the Morton Grove location was fine. Not great, not terrible. We will go there again because it's the closest location. Our issue is with UHaul charging insanely outrageous inflated prices to change a 3-day round-trip trailer rental to a one-way rental. Going from $180 round trip to over $1,000 for one-way?? That's price gouging, plain and simple. It's unacceptable and what's worse, no one at UHaul seemed to care in the slightest. It made our trip much more difficult to not be able to return the 12' trailer we rented in IL at the destination location of TN, because who in their right mind is going to pay that much money?? An up charge of $820? What a scam. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing that UHaul's customer service was so indifferent and poor. Do better, UHaul.

Kevin H.The staff was sitting in a truck on the phone when I arrived for pickup. No one was inside. I had to hook up the trailer myself because no one came to help until after I was done. The furniture covers I ordered were not in the trailer when I left. I had to come back for them. I was told I would get a refund, instead you charge me an extra fee for no reason.

Kwutae Y.I requested a location along the blue line to make my pickup closer to the location I was moving from. Instead I had to take a 60 dollar cab ride to the other side of Chicago, then sit in traffic over an hour to get to where I needed to be in the first place. Between the cab ride, lost time, and then paying for parking, you added $100 more in expenses. Then on the Denver side you requested I take the truck across the Denver metro area instead of drop the truck off at a location .5 miles from my house. I dropped it off at Monaco tire instead which was very convenient for me. You can do better than this!

We were in the end storage unit and you didn't know if anyone was around the corner as it was a dead-end and someone could have been hiding there. I did see the cameras, but I feel a large mirror at the end could show if anyone was hiding around the corner. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we will be using your service again.
