Got a phone call that i had to return truck with gas that was in truck initially… at that point i had put way too much gas than what was going to be used, unaware of how much money i would be loosing, being a first time renter…

SEBASTIEN DOMINI L.I didn't catch the fellas name but he's older and was close to his 5 years with the company! All I can say is he went further than above and beyond to help me out and get me on the road! I was the last rental at 6:30, had to use a different trailer than original, and he stayed after closing to get me on the road! Having a registered mechanic on staff really makes you guys stand out! The guy deserves a raise for his help!
Jace P.The service is excellent, infinitely better than on the other side of Uhaul from Moncton. The guys are extremely polite and explain all the details of the rental. But the back of the pick-up where you carry things could be cleaner despite the fact it is exposed to the weather.

Rodd L.Moncton location was fantastic. Very helpful and pleasant. The call centre experience leaves a lot to be desired. It took multiple attempts to get the dates booked properly as there were frequent data entry errors, and when I got the confirmations I would have to call back, again, to straighten them out. An example would be I booked from April 1st to 6th, and concerned I wouldn't have enough time, called back to have it extended to the 7th. The rep on the phone booked the pickup on the 7th and I didn't notice until the day before and I had to call back in again where I kept getting forwarded back and forth between scheduling and sales trying to resolve the issue.

David H.Let me start with I called the call center a total of 4 times and 3 of those times the line got disconnected with no call back after providing my details. Not to mention the total of 40 mins of Company time WASTED FOR NOTHING. After looking at invoice when I called to extend another day for the rental I noticed that there was a 10$ daily charge per day for insurance which no one in our wanted or ask for. Sure enough over the phone they couldn't waive this fee. We needed to in store to get this refunded. I sent one of our employees to talk to a manager however there wasn't working that day. Not that I could call that office directly and confirm if there was anyone their either because it goes to the contact center. To be quite honest the 10$ that was charge and I want credited back is going my company more for the time I am putting into getting this money back then its worth but its the principle. I have not received back but intend in the coming days to make an appearance to get my money back again. Not done yet.. We only rented this van for 2 to 3 days. After my employee got back to the office a few days later he said the fan was definitely questionable on whether it was safe to drive. At the end of the first day he noticed it was pulling a lot and out of line. He looked under the van and realized the tires were almost balled in certain spots. Sorry for he rant but the only companies improve is to get feedback and implement it. Unfortunately for our company the bad taste in our mouth from this experience will probably make us look at other options the next time.

DEBORAHMARIE L.The worker was amazing! Friendly and able to answer all pur questions!!! Only thing that was poor out of the uhaul company was the fact that 3 days before moving our pick up location changed to one that was 20km away from our original pick up location which ended up making us have to drive a longer distance as well as use more fuel. We did receive a discount but it was still a pain to have to change our arrangements and time wise made it tight.

And the website kept telling me they needed my location so we left the van hoping we wouldnt get charged but it sucked
Jean-Pierre C.First of all the pick up location was changed a few days prior to my move. The new location was twice the distance for me to pick up. This means extra fuel for me to pay for. They did offer a discount on fuel but I should've not had to pay for mileage beyond or over the original pick up location. Also, I had to scrape of three inches of snow and ice on the windshield and cab roof. I was lucky to have a brush in my car. I was not impressed at all with the snow and ice. It's one thing to make my overall distance travelled but to make me clean off ice and snow that had been on the windshield fora days, not cool at all!!!!

Dan M.The only uhaul got this rating is the location. The traffic office was absolutely terrible and the way the reservation system works is even worse. The staff is rude and has a conplete lack of customer service. The gentleman at the pick up location was excellent.

Ronald Dana L.The truck itself was nice and clean however the shocks were basically non-existent. The truck was very clunky and rough; we had professional movers and, despite that, numerous expensive pieces of furniture were broken beyond repair within the truck. Every single bump in the road hit hard and the furniture reflects that. Not impressed and will likely not use Uhaul in the future.
DAVID RICHARD B.Must be decreasing your rate. I had driven 9 kilometres and I filled up 2 litres gas but uhaul charged me more 12 dollar of gas. How can possible.

George E.10-foot cargo van had no gas cap, windshield washer fluid or knob to control heat/cold, it was missing or broken. The Gas cap in particular- as I topped off the tank before returning vehicle, gas was spilling on the ground at the pumps. The Manager on duty was apologetic and while I did receive a break on my final bill, its astounding that vehicles aren't checked over before rented out again to customers? I will be renting elsewhere in any future moves.
Marty K.Both gentlemen that served me on-site (during vehicle pick up/drop off) were fantastic. Excellent service, very helpful; they were common sense kind of guys. They turned my initial negative experience into a positive one. As for the booking agent (call center) that made my reservation.....well this was the source of my negative experience. See below: The booking agent was polite & courteous, however they made my van reservation at the wrong facility. Upon arrival at the Mountain Road Uhaul (which I requested), the on-site staff said my reservation was for the Main st Uhaul. The booking agent was made aware that I was using a Visa Debit card when they took my deposit. Upon on-site pickup, I was made aware that Uhaul only accepts major credit cards (not Visa debit cards or cards like Koho, Stack, etc). The reservation agent made zero mention of this. Due to the credit card issue, I didn't get a van as requested. Fortunately, the on-site staff were able to put in a box truck. Not what I asked for, but they did their absolute best to make it right. Also, the Main st facility does not accept debit, only cash or a major credit card (not a Visa debit card). I had to run around to a few gas stations to withdraw cash. Not the fault of the on-site staff....this is a Uhaul issue. In closing: Would I personally do business with the two on-site staff guys that helped me? 100% yes, I give them a 10/10 score. Would I rent or do business with Uhaul again? 100% no, and the booking agent gets a 3/10 score, which Uhaul is responsible for.
DAVID ROSS G.Everything got messed up. Your billing's… well; I'm still dealing with it all.. the size of our truck was messed up….Had to make an extra trailer rental and an extra trip back to Moncton and still was charged for the trailer. Your staff was friendly. Truck was clean.

The windshield is not clear it was dirty, tried to use windshield washer but there was no liquid coming out. So i drove it and it is not safe as i cant clearly see some part of the road so i had to go back to my house and tried to clear it. It would be much better if atleast clean the windshield as it is the most important thing before renting it out.

SCOTT RICHARD M.There was snow in the cab/drivers seat area when I picked up the truck. The back door/lock bar was frozen closed, had to pour hot water on the lock bar and all across the bottom of the door in order to get the door open, it took almost an hour. It was a very frustrating start to our day. I really believe these things should be check before rental.
