Not only did the location not have my pre reserved storage space but upon inquiring as to why I was being given a 8x7x9 unit to fit everything from a 26' truck the staff became defensive When I asked for the staff members names to report them to a corporate office one of the employees attempt to escalate the situation and began to get hostel. Thankfully I just went right down the street to a way nicer location with ample storage space.. AND with 0 advanced notice

They didn't do mobile check in. Like it said online so it took an additional 25 minutes to get my uhaul van. And the milage was wrong.

Rep did not check tires for pressure , had a blow out on transport trailer, between Midlsnd Tx and LaMesa Tx, Set there over 5 hours in 102 degree temp before service truck showed up. Staff was very uncooperative after i had called twice about service.

First class operation. They facilities and equipment were well maintained and the truck was spotless when I picked it up.

The initial processing to rent a car hauler took longer than anything else. But the check in person was very pleasant. Only had to wait a few minutes before Mark got it hooked up and on my way. Return was very fast. Everyone was helpful. More office staff would help.

When the miles are unused, they should be refunded back to the client because you guys will charge 41 cents per mile if they go over. That's not a mutually acceptable exchange. Paying full price for a truck that is sub par from an acceptable standard shouldn't be the companies business practices.

The staff seemed friendly, but was definitely seeing the difficulties of staffing, and was absolutely overwhelmed. Just overwhelmed with anything, and struggled to cope with whatever challenges that came from different problems or things that weren't a quick fix.

I had one problem- the truck was an older unit and I'm sure the fact I needed it for one day and less than 40 miles was deciding factor in giving me that unit. But after 30 miles the low oil level light came on, could have been a big problem

Fuel seems to be an issue. I recommend the truck be received full and returned full to avoid the guessing game of trying to return it with the exact amount of fuel as originally provided.

Dear future customers, Please beware of this location, I had rented a motorcycle trailer for the duration of four hours and was charged for two whole days. The store manager claims I had it for two days but I told him to check the cameras. Obviously he didn't do that either else he would of seen me rolling up maybe two and half hours laters tops!! But lesson learned had I know the employee working outside would of done his job correctly none of this review would be taking place. I guess I went by his word and that was a mistake. But I will say this if you rent out equipment from this place be sure you go inside and get it on paper or an email saying you have checked in whatever you rented. Hate to say it but I called the store and got redirected to an out of town office and still got nothing. So what was the point of trying to point out they made a mistake because they will just deny that they were in the wrong. So customer service ha that's a joke. Good luck to whoever reads this review and hopefully this helps whoever is reading this. Remember beware…..

Overall service was ok. However my big dissatisfaction was that I was not verbally told about not overfilling the gas tank. I filled up a half tank and not even used a quarter of it. Since it's part of your written contract I was not given credit for what at today's gas prices amounted to over $35. In the last 4 yrs I've used uhaul equipment for my last three moves. I've probably spent over $2500 in that time renting your equipment. I'm not happy and probably will not bring you my business again.

Equipment was not properly maintained. Electrical equipment was not fully functioning. Equipment was dirty. Tires needed to be balanced, could feel the vibration through pulling vehicle.

Location didn't have any of the items that we reserved. No dolly, furniture dolly, or enough furniture blankets (booked 2 dozen, received 5). To make matters worse, truck had less than a quarter tank when i picked it up. I realize the truck may not have a full tank but having to go to the gas station immediately after picking it up is ridiculous. Location is sacrificing customer service to save a few bucks on gas. Truck was in good condition but my experience with Uhaul was already ruined. Location can put more of emphasis on customer service. This place doesn't care.

I truthfully will never use you guys again because of the incident that happened with the manager Paul. I'd honestly take a deep dive into this store and see how things ar evening ran. I never asked where I wanted to drop off the equipment. The salesperson just picked a place about 50 miles from my house. Instead of picking one close to me that there are Several in katy where I live he picked one in Houston. No communication

The girls inside were just rude. Way more so the girl who checked us in. I'm not a rude person and was trying to say yes ma'am to try and get her to chill and stuff or maybe smile. We had a reservation and she made sure to make a snarky remark and tell us we were late and the sighs, oh lord. I get it's midland, and midland sucks, glad I left but people are usually already stressed With whatever situation when dealing with getting a uhaul, spending a lot of money, and very tired. If I can be nice, so can the people gettin paid to work there. I think this is the only bad review I've left anywhere in years.. We tipped both moving companies over 100 dollars in cash, simply for being cool.. this isn't me trying to get any money back but if I owned this place, I would want to know.. The guy who got our truck was very very nice but that's about the only good experience we had. At least the moving companies you had on here were great.

I only dealt with one gentleman and he was nice and fast as well. I believe the Caucasian manager, is the problem at this location. He doesn't know how to talk to people. That was a previous encounter. But, today was better, because I didn't deal with him.

I feel like if you order online everything should be ready when you show up but it's not and they still ask 50 questions and they don't listen to your destination and then you have to call and jump through hoops to get your destinations changed !

When we walked in to return the rental they looked at us like we were a bother. One guys refused to help and walked out the door. The other girl hesitantly helped us. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at both locations. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone ever.

The two times I used them I had reserved my rentals. Both times they completely changed what o had reserved to something that was twice as expensive. When something is reserved online I expect it to be what I'm getting: midland uhaul is screwing people just because they work in the oil field and assume everyone has a pile of money. Never again.... NEVER
