Bring back face to face customer service. Make sure that the associates that work there park there vehicles on the street, since the area that the truck I picked up is extremely narrow. Give more training to the associates. I WAS TOLD whem I brought back the truck to leave it the same way as I got it, this was done when I talked a person over the intercom. A few hours after I dropped the truck off I called uhaul since it bothered me that I was given the wrong instructions. Good tbing there is a camera showing the time I returned the truck. The associate I talked with said she took care of it for me and was surprised by what I was told. We will see when my charge bill comes in if it was taken care of.CECILIA W.

There are no system in place to prevent ppl from taking a storage you have paid for. Even if you found out someone was using the storage you have paid for. There's no system in place to get that person out and you in that storage unit in a timely manner. Only system in place is to move you to a different storage unit. Which means time and inconceivable inconvenience on a clients part to travel back and fourth to switch units, only to find out more units are taken even though they showed available in u-hauls system!Ser X. | Overall Experience

I rented my storage locker online and that process was very easy and convenient. My issues are, 1- online it doesn't explain nor show pictures of how the measurements work for the lockers, that would be very helpful because the height of my locker is not big enough and I now have to get a different one. My 2nd issue is when I rented my locker online there was a promo for rent now and get the lock free with the locker, it clearly stated that all I had to do was go to my locker rip off the green tag open my locker and my lock would be in there, simple easy move in. Well that wasn't the case because my locker didn't have the lock in it as stated and showed in the video in the email I received. So now I have to find time to go to the office for my facility which isn't in the same building as my locker its at an actual Uhaul store and explain all this to them and hope they give me my free lock. THAT is very inconvenient and not an easy move in. Especially since I had a whole load of stuff to move into my locker that night and couldn't because I didnt have the lock for it. So maybe the staff should double check and make sure that there are locks in the lockers when they get rented out.Janelle K. | Online Move In

The young lady did not have the current knowledge or updated information before she went to space out to me, and because of that I had to move my things to another location which was on a second floor level and there was only one elevator in the building and it was blocked so it took a lot longer than we anticipated. This particular storage facility is very far from the customer service office. I thought that I could do everything at the storage facility. The thing that saved you a poor rating and me pain and money on movers is Jenny and Diana at the facility. They went above and beyond to fix my confusion and difficulty quickly. However, I still had to go back far to the state street office to rent the lockers. You did not have the size I reserved but gave me 2 small lockers that were a little restricted in space but luckily fit. Jenny and Diana were so helpful. The store was rather slow and should have noticed that I reserved a locker when I rented the car. Also the app did not work for me very well either to rent the truck.Gregory H. | First Impressions

I was amazed with the security of the the storage facility. With the correct code a person can only go to the floor that their storage unit is on that is double security because no one else has no need to be on a floor different than where the storage unit is and I truly like that thank you for your service to meJohn M. | Overall Experience

I had it scheduled for 9am and didn't get the Uhaul till 10am due to no one being on site. Had to wait for the manager to come from another location. So we waited outside in the cold until about 930am. I reserved the uhaul 2 days before and it should have been ready when we arrived. On the plus side the Manager was very helpful and Nice to us.Wendy R.
No staff at this location that I could see. The app does not work well. It did not give me a code needed to get the truck key. Had to call U-Haul.Jon R.
They had roaches on the main floor Then I was moved up to the fifth floor in the fifth floor also had roaches it's a whole infestation and then on top of that my container on the 5th floor got shot up through the window because some people on the bridge of 35th was doing a shoot out ( 5 bullets shattered 3 window ) they shot the windows outs. Then I was blocked out of my unit for a week straight. This is just a horrible business location and it isn't being operated properly with the infestation that have in this huge building. It was not clear how to get my truck picked up and the app was not very responsive. Wasted my time getting the truck picked up and there was no one on site to help. Then the gas tank was only half full. Wish I had paid attention to that before claiming the keys. Not worth it or helpful on this move. Won't use this u-haul againCharles F.

got to the facility and was never informed that it was all self service and i needed to go to another location to check in. the. after waiting to finally get a storage unit; i go back to the facility and the u it i was issued was already being used and locked. took me another 1/2 hour to get someone on the phone to correct the situation. never an apology or anything, plus i had to upgrade to a different storage unit than i reserved due to not being told i would need to climb stair with my belongings to make the unit work. very unsatisfied with UHaul and would DEFINITELY think twice before referring or utilizing your services again.Jason B. | First Impressions
