It would have been nice that since I returned it at around 7 pm that I would not have been charged for a whole 2nd day since I had no use for it the 2nd day. Plus they charged me an additional $3.00 and didn't even tell me why. But otherwise I was very thankful for it because without it my move would have been very stressful as I'm a single mom with 2 small children and currently 6 months pregnant. So thank you for having services in my current location.

Only one person on duty made for long 30 min + to return trailer because he had 3 customers inside. I would think a Sat would need 2 staff to make things go faster.

The service was great. The truck was perfectly clean, however, the driver's side bottom mirror has a broken bracket. The reverse lights were out. The driver's side door has to be slammed excessively hard in order to get it to close properly. Something is rattling inside the cab. It sounds like a cooler of ice shifting around. But it did the job

Check out was painless. Chris did it super fast, felt like five minutes from when he got to me and when I was leaving. Efficient. Phenomenal. Check in was about the same. Took awhile to get someone to help, less then time minutes though, seems like only one person works there at a time, but they do the job really well. I was very impressed.

10/7 -Equipment was confirmed to be in Waterloo for Friday pickup 10/8 -was told it was not available, nearest trailer was in Marshalltown (64 miles away, 128 miles RT) Had to go get it - they wouldn't move it here. What good does it do to make a reservation, if, they're just gonna tell you a day ahead where the closest equipment is?

I have rented a truck two times & one storage unit from this location in the past week. They are obviously under staffed as you typically have quite a wait time then when it's your turn they rush you through it. Also inside the truck they put a utility dolly & furniture pads with a zip tie lock on them. They get in the way & take space away from the items you're moving. In my case the zip tie broke on the dolly while moving furniture out of the truck so I got charged a rental fee for it when I didn't even really use it

At the beginning of our experience there seemed to always be screws and nails in front of the parking lot. Seems to me the employees of this u-haul need to establish a daily routine of going around and making sure things are picked up and clean. Also we had on our day of moving out a roach came out from under a box. We now had to go through everything and make sure we were not taking with us these bad and nasty cruisers. Think if they would bomb every other month to prevent this from happening. Other than these the staff is differently helpful. Chris the manager bends over backwards in making things right. A+ in his customer skills effort. Thinking they just need to dial in the cleanliness.

We had an issue with our Walmart debit card, computer kept reading it as a "gift card" so we were unable to complete transaction. Hopefully this gets cleared up because not everyone uses "major credit cards".

The time from when I got to the door to when I actually talked to an employee was longer than strictly necessary. Both at pick up and drop off I had to hunt for an employee. After that everything went fine.

My reservation was lost. I had to drive nearly 100 miles out of the way to pick up the equipment and then I was charged extra for the additional distance. Horrible experience. The person working the desk has cuss words tattooed on his arms.

Customer service skills were slow. Address information was requested 3-5 times for every single question. We were at the U-haul company for pick up for 75 minutes to get a truck in the process of loading a storage shed and this down time was very frustrating! The employee placed the order to return the truck on July 6th at 10;00 when I told her multiple times that we were leaving the truck set in the parking lot of the Super 8 hotel until Monday morning , July 6th when we would be leaving Iowa with the truck to drive to Missouri!

The guy at the Uhual place wasn't helpful at all. He didn't tell us there was extra cost if we went over certain milage (rented truck for one way)...was taken back when the return person told us of the extra cost. Also, the cost for one way + filling it back up was expensive and then to add additional cost was so wrong on all levels.

When I booked the trailer it was 32$ a day and when I checked a few days later it was 55$ then when we picked up the trailer it was 60$. Im guessing you guys show a low price to pull people in then jack it up when they've got nowhere else to go. A fucking joke, this won't be the only review I give.

I will not be using ubox or uhaul for any other services after this fiasco. I still don't have my ubox after being told a week ago its being delivered to my house that day. Chris was efficient and professional. It was easy to get a storage unit the size we needed. Chris explained things and made our unloading convenient - inside with carts available. Prices were reasonable and no administrative fee like some others. The facility is well lit and clean.
