PHILLIP MAs I was unloading my truck a mice tried to enter my unit when I was told pest control come once a month. Plus my 1st reservation was canceled when I had insurance on my reservation the one I have now isn't showing my insurance due to my belongings are in outside storage unit,Manager offered me a larger unit for same price of my 1st reservation do to what I experienced the entire day and I'm unhappy with my entire move with U-Haul.

GEORGE JWhen I called Friday morning to reserve I asked for price she said van was 19.99 and dolly was 10.00. She asked how long I needed it for I asked how long do I get it for she said tomorrow at 3:30. I said ok so 19.99 and 10.00 I can pick up now and it has to be returned by 3:30 tomorrow. She said yes. We picked up and at 1pm Saturday they called me looking for it. I advised I was told I had it until 3:30 she put me on hold and came back and said ok. I said as soon as we unload I will bring it back. We returned it at 2pm when I looked at receipt later they charged me 2 x 19.99 and 2 x 10.00 which is not what I was told. If I knew that I would have kept it until Sunday morning and moved the rest of the stuff. Not happy at all. We co I was tolduld have had van back earlier if I would have known it was going to cost more but we had until 3:30

MARVIN B | First ImpressionsThe store rep instructed me where to leave my vehicle wrong then I get a call from a manager many hours later, saying that I have to move my car before they close. I was in the lot for ten additional minutes, if they knew I parked in the wrong spot they could have come out to correct me at the moment. Not when I'm out doing my trip hours away after several hours it being there with only a three hour closing notice. I very specifically told them I wasn't going to be back for before closing. They gave me attitude, they admitted their sales rep misguided me, but somehow blamed it on me and basically were threatening me with further action if I didn't have my car removed and hung up on me.

RONALD W | Overall ExperienceTire gauge said the pressure was low, so initially, I was unable to check the mileage. Once I found out how to check it, I calculated and was slightly overcharged. However, I was grateful they had a truck available-after visited two stores who did not. And the young woman who assisted me was a super star! She was professional, funny accommodating and considerate for this trip. I didn't dispute the charge because she was so awesome. So my suggestion would be to clear any error messages that might throw off the operation of the vehicle-so they are properly charged. And always reward great people who represent your business. I would work with her and come back to rent from this location.

It was a total cluster on your location and your support transferred to 16600 Kedize location wasn't open either at 9am. I will be writing corporate on my experience. Lashun JThis is my first time using U-Haul storage services in my experience was beyond what I could have imagine despite others peoples previous reviews. At this particular location in Markham, the general manager (Tamica) along with the cashier (Nunn) made me feel like family rather than a just a customer. The atmosphere was friendly. The store was very clean, and although they did not have the unit that I wanted available at the moment, they were still able to accommodate me temporarily until the wound that I desired will be available free of charge.

After 20 hours on the road, my storage unit was not updated to another facility as discussed with U Haul customer service prior to my move in date. Tamicca was able to get me into a unit and was very pleasant throughout the process. I would have been stuck with a truck full of my property and nowhere to put it. Thank you for having an employee go above and beyond for a customer. Five stars for Tamicca!!!

Traci BThe equipment I rented should have been serviced. After trying to return the equipment. My key code wouldn't work. Which meant I had to get early the next day to return the equipment, due to me not being able to store my items. Called the next day and, spoke to the manager and, she said she will handle my rental. I pray that I don't have to pay for a full rental due to the inconvenience. But, overall the service is professional. Especially Ariane? Very nice and treated my husband and I like family.

I am waiting on my $50 credit. Other than that, I would gladly recommend Uhaul. I had a very professional and pleasant experience.
Terrie NWhen this facility was run by the woman I 1st rent from it was better. Every manager since she retired has been absent, less professional & just plain worst!!! Uninformed not knowing policy or communicating policy to renters. I was told that my rent refund cold be pro-rated...when I move out she suddenly doesn't know how to process a refund! She calls her coordinator who states no refund or prorated amount will be provided & stated a call to corporate was a waste of time!!! Clearly the customer is not your focus...just your profits.... I had rented for several years auto pay customer & to be absolutely no consideration at termination of my rental contract is disgusting and only profit focused. Managerial staff at this location has gone from great to incompetent!!!!

She is so pleasant, professional, courteous, kind, and just a very nice person. It was a joy working with her. When issues arose, she handled them quickly, professionally, and to everyone's satisfaction. If anyone in that area needs a Uhaul recommendation, I'm sending them straight to her. God bless you, Ms Rockett. And thanks for making our Uhaul experience very pleasant and memorable. Unused rent not being refunded caused me to have to move in a hurry and resulted in me being injured while moving. Before Uhaul took over, the previous owners prorated and refunded unused rent. I'm extremely disappointed and likely will not use Uhaul for future storage needs.

I had a storage unit for several years and therefore my access card became worn and would not work well. I often spent 10 minutes swiping the card many times to open the gate. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she did nothing. I asked for a new card or perhaps a code. Later on she gave me a code that worked for about a year. Also the fact that the rent kept increasing like clock work was ridiculous considering the terrible customer service.

You had to go inside to speak with someone to get information. This facility also changed management, the new manager is not as efficient or informative as Ms Vernita. The facility is average.
