The staff are all courteous and professional. But there are not enough of them. The wait in line was over 30 minutes. There was a long line of customers and only one person behind the counter.Kevin R.
This location needs to have more employees in the store helping customers. They also need some training. The associate by the name of Brittanie Olivas is extremely rude and needs some type of training. We were in like 30 minutes before our reservation and when we expressed how dissatisfied we were that we were waiting so long and another customer did as well, she decided to look at me and say "Oh you're complaining isn't going to change anything." Extremely rude and unacceptable. You don't talk to paying customers that way. She had a horrible attitude the rest of our interaction. She gave us our keys and said you can find your truck outside. She didn't tell us where to go, or even come out to inspect the truck. A couple of the representatives inside were also walking around with no masks. When we returned the truck one of the employees was under the influence of something and smelled like marijuana. This definitely needs to be addressed as I'm sure this isn't the image that Uhaul wants out about them as a company or brand.ALEXANDER R.

I reserved a 20' truck three weeks in advance only to be provided a 15' truck instead. This resulted in insufficient space for my move and I must now spend approximately $1,000 to travel back CA and go through this exercise again. The company should reimburse me for my costs due to U-Haul's incompetence.STEVE C.

First of alll the truck i rentes smelles like marihuana and was poorly cleaned. I was charged extra for gas when i the 10 footer i reserved was completely empty to which i havw pictures ans will give a google reveiw later. Brittane and mayara or wahtever hee name is from the compton office not only were incompetent were also careless about their job and lack any kind of customer service whatsoever. Inhad to wait for over 45 min on the phone to get my bill corrected when i called to dispute the overcharge. This company truly does not care about their clients.GERMAN Z.

The customer service representatives did not hook up the car dolly correctly and in flipped upward off of the hitch as I drove my car up the dolly. They also did not help me at all besides the check in. I would not come back if I had other options.DYLAN H.
This location in Lynwood was a terrible experience Vehicle mileage was incorrect on the form compared to what the cargo said. Paper read 6100 but vehicle had 8300 miles. The situation happened with 2 Cargo vans they finally was able to get me a van with correct milesâ€¦ The cans were dirty and not well kept. Then cargo van I left with had 3 bad tires they were low I had to go to another UHaul to have air put in tiresâ€¦ They charged me a deposit when using a credit card and told me that it was the area has a high crime rate! However they charged me for 100 miles to cover this â€œdepositâ€ I've never been charged a deposit by UHaul when renting with a credit cardâ€¦ I had returned the vehicle early in the morning and they called me masked me when I was bring it back hours later My experience at this location was HORRIBLE and I'll never go back there ever againLASHORA B.

Blocked my car in overnight with one of their U-Haul trucks. They literally park their trucks/vans anywhere they like. No signs that say no customer parking where I parked. Had to take an Uber home and back. Never using this location again. Avoid at all costs.MARK A.
When my wife set up the arrangement she paid a flat rate. A day after I picked up the truck someone called me and told me if I paid per mileage I would save money. I ended up paying more which we are unhappy about. We feel like the person should've looked at our mileage which she did not.Fernando V.

The trailer was clean considering its age. U-haul staff and I had a difficult time locking the roll up door though. Took over a minute to get locked when it should just be a few seconds. .For older customers, it may be impossible to lock. Overall, I enjoyed the U-hauls staffs help and professionalism they displayed. trailer was rock solid. Tires were well maintained. All the lights worked well. I appreciate having access to such a quality trailer. THANK YOU U-HAULJohn C.

Send the text sooner to check the gas gage so you won't get charged extra. It wasn't mentioned either so I didn't think to take a picture myself and when I got the text it was too late. So I was charged for extra gas that I didn't even use.Precious B.

There's an attendant at the Lynwood, CA location (Long Beach Blvd) that is outstanding; above & beyond! Carlos Marcelli is super polite, friendly, professional & respectful of others. If there's a problem with whatever, he will fix it! I've rented pick-up trucks from this location for almost (8) years now, & look so forward in seeing my friend, knowing I will be taken care of in a professional manner...WILLIAM B.

I came in with an appointment for 11:00am so I arrived 20 minutes early. Despite this, I still waited another 40 minutes to event get a truck. When I was about to get my key the truck assigned to me was no longer available, so they gave me a car that was dirty and with 1/8 fuel. The car was practically empty. I had fill up the car which cost me another $80!!! After leaving, because the car was not prepared on time, I had to return because the lock was still on the truck and was not removed. The hectic situations I understand, there can be some crazy days I get it, but what really upset me was that I had to fill up the tank of this car. I only used 1/4 of the gas, I submitted proof of this through the U-Haul website, and I still was not reimburse for it. Seems ridiculous to have to wait an extra 40 minutes and fill up a rental car that costs an extra $80 and still get charged $1.39 per mile!!! This place is a fucken rip off.Marisela V.

I got the truck I needed in the end, but I had to drive 40 minutes away to pick it up and waited in line for an hour because only one person was allowed into the store at a time, Service was SLOW and the initial truck they gave us had a flat tire. It all worked out in the end, but it took an additional 3 hours out of moving day just to get the UHaul.LAUREN K.

Staff was not cooperative and unavailable to assist. Was blocked in by randomly parked vehicles and delivery truck. Could not get staff to move vehicles. This was a fire/safety issue that could have resulted in a death. Took 45 minutes to get reservation fulfilled and another 30 minutes to get trailer connected and inspected. Went through numerous calls to get any assistance from UHAUL "customer support ". Spent more than 4 hours on calls to locate a trailer for this move.ERIC F.

If you reserve online be sure it's not after business hours if you plan on moving right away, due to Covid the locks are placed in your unit. However the office was closed so you won't be able to get your lock or have it placed inside.Mauricia B. | Online Move In
