I first went to the u-haul and on 8th & Jefferson, and after waiting almost 35 minutes to rent a truck, I was told that the process would have to be done over because the info was submitted wrong. I left in frustration and went to the one one Greenville and was taken care of in about 15 minutes. EXCELLENT SERVICE.

You have to park your car on the street, they will not let you park in the parking lot. I rented a truck for 2-4 hours but had to drive through the surrounding neighborhood to find a place to keep my car parked.

Speedup and maybe automate the rental process. I have rented at least 15 times from U-Haul, ant multiple locations in CA an TX, and the intake process is cumbersome.

Didn't like the hidden fees

Passed around uhaul locations multiple times. When I finally got placed, 3 hours after my initial reservation, I had to wait there for an hour for them to look up what happened and how I ended up there. My rental time got cut into because of how long I was at the uhaul location. Lastly, they had the truck running when I got into the truck. I did not receive a paper copy of where the gas mileage was and no one walked around the truck with me for any previous damage. I filled the gas up where it was when I got in the truck and informed the lady who took me to the truck that the return time should be changed, along with the gas mileage because I was there waiting for the truck for an hour. I was charged another $75 after returning the vehicle. Very unprofessional. I have used uhaul multiple times in the past but I will not be returning.

Sapphire was a rockstar! She helped multiple customers at the same time, was quick and efficient and thorough, and such a joy to work with!! The customer service was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. Once I got my rental, there was some weird stain on one of the seats and the truck was just dirty as a whole.

The truck size that was recommended by the employees was too small. It didn’t have a ramp and was really hard on my moving team. Cost me extra trips.

I have had 2 experiences with this location in the past 6 weeks. I rented a truck to move apartments and had 0 issues, then i rented a van to pick up a couch i was buying. When I went to rent the van the shop only had 2 employees, and was busy. I waited about 25 minutes for my turn and was told by the employee helping me that I was late. I purchased 15 miles and was told to return the van with 1/4 tank of gas. The van had a different amount of miles on the gauge than what was in the link to the check in that I was sent. I received the van with 5179 miles, and dropped it off with 5191 miles and a 1/4 tank of gas. I used a total of 11 miles over the course of and hour and a half. I got my receipt and was charged for additional mileage and gas. I can understand when a shop is short staffed, but overall I was very disappointed with the experience and will not be using this location again.

Customer area - with desks and product to sell - was messy and dirty. Walls not painted, junk in corners, customer chair rickety. Simply unkempt with no pride in their place of business. Three people at counters, no recognition of me at all. No attempt to get me taken care of and on my way. Took forever to check in a van to then check out to me. NO WHERE ONLINE DOES IT TALK OF ME HAVING TO REPLACE GAS. That should be taken care of with the amount/mile I also paid. My $19.95 van went up to $57.32!!! And the check out was hurried; man that started to help me was more interested in getting his break (after only being open 1 hour!) then in carefully checking me out. Woman took over, did not go over the paperwork (fuel level, etc), and when asked about my signature at the bottom, was told "You don't need to sign it". (!!!) No one seemed interested in being of service, something I was taught with my first job 50 years ago. No effort to explain the working of the van for my safety - I had to ask all the questions - the woman checking me out just kept wanting to walk away without any assistance or instructions. Van was dirty outside and in. Brakes were soft. All in all - three/four people that could care less about their place of business or their responsibility in making certain each and every person that walks into their place gets excellent service and has a safe and good experience. Lots of work to be done to turn this mess around.

The process to check out was extremely lengthy, I walked out before it finished and I took pictures of the equipment in the condition I returned. It really was ridiculous how long it took, and the people working there do not seem competent enough.

My experience was bad. I reserved the unit online, however, found out at the store that I cannot use a Puerto Rico number to reserve a U-Haul. Due to this, they had to redo the whole reservation which messed up my timeline and that was the whole purpose of doing the online reservation. The manager was not empathic, did not apologized at all for the inconvenience and was rude. When explaining the phone situation, the manager looked at me like he did not understood (I have an accent, but know how to speak proper English). After leaving with the vehicle and getting home to start the move, I noticed they did not included the hand truck which I reserved. I called back and the manager was did not apologized (again!) and just asked me: do you want it or not? His service was so bad that I decided not to get the hand truck to avoid paging you guys more for the whole inconvenience. If you are not from around, it seems you are not welcomed at UHaul....bad experience.

I love, love, love the crew at Greenville and Ross. They are the best. It was literally the best experience I have ever had at a U-Haul location; and I have used U-Haul for a number of my rental needs in different locations. I can't remember their names, but the ladies and gentlemen at Greenville and Ross were extremely friendly and helpful. I know that sometimes employees move on as other opportunities come available, but I would recommend trying to keep this crew together at this location. Also, in the company as promotional opportunities present themselves, I would strongly consider them for other opportunities. Please invest in them so that they can one day see themselves as being owners of a U-Haul franchise. Fantastic experience! Thank you.

Very poor customer service & didn’t have tools to remove my trailer ball & staff told me it was my fault that I didn’t ask what size trailer ball I needed. I had to go to Home Depot & spend $50 dollars on a tool for same. Also, contact had to be redone as female employee initially stated that collision waver also covered my property ( antique car) which apparently was wrong! 2548139900

I was very disappointed with my experience this time. I made my reservation on my phone so I could just pick up quickly. The app didn't work so I had to go to desk anyway. Then, when I returned the truck it was pouring rain. I waited in the truck for someone to come out to take the keys so I could return quickly. No one came out, so again, I had to get out in the pouring rain to go inside. There were three employees inside looking at their phones. Awful customer service. I was drenched and not happy.

The whole process was swift and efficient! When returning the trailer I walked about 5 steps before being greeted by a young man who said he could help me with the return, unhooked the trailer, told me a receipt would be emailed to me, and away I went in less than a couple of minutes!

Super busy, took me over two hours after I had done the pre-check Of the truck because the system was slow. The dolly I had pre-rented wasn’t available when I got there, had to move without dolly. Will not be renting here again.

I was charged for gas when I had filled up the tank to the level I received it. The car did not have full gas when I received it. I took a picture of the gas gauge, received an initial from the mgr on duty and then replaced the gas upon drop off. I was still charged extra for gas that was not my responsibility. I will not be recommending Uhaul in general, even though the staff and service at this particular location is nice.

The guy who rented the vehicle to me was rude and surly. He needs to have an attitude adjustment. The vehicle had no shocks whatsoever, but it did the job, although roughly. The store was crammed with so many supplies that getting to the counter was a safety hazard. It needs to be better organized.

Location was understaffed upon pickup Sunday morning [1 of 3 employees there] however, the young man who was there was courteous and helpful as was the young lady upon return. Truck rented did not appear to have been vacuumed and prior damage notations were way off. Bathroom was clean [yea!]. Reservation showed 3 hours when I was told I had 4 but that did not turn out to be an issue. For the price though, ok.

the truck we picked up had major scratches and the service rep said take pictures before you leave and then you can dispute it - secondly the rubber mold around the door was coming off - we had to carefully try to put it back together - but we took a picture of that just in case they claimed it our fault - inside service was great but the outside service needs improvement and customer service training

Don’t drive into the parking lot, it’s apparently only for the trucks being returned. I was cussed out by a lady & was threatened with her fingers as if she was going to shoot me, because I asked to back out so I could exit the parking lot & not be trapped in the truck return traffic. Obviously she was overheated and probably from the extreme temperatures outside. Otherwise it was a great & easy experience.

The day I moved the movers i had hired from uhaul quit in the middle of the job. WHen I returned the van the two women who worked in the front office were so kind and understanding, it totally made a miserable day of moving better. I can't remember their names in this moment, bu tif you contact me I have them written down somewhere. They are truly exceptional employees!

They did not let me pick my length of time I needed the Uhaul. I was under the impression I had it for the whole day, and I only had it for 4 hours! Customer service was absolutely terrible. I will never be going back and will not recommend to any of my friends moving to the area.

I’ve never left a negative feedback. U-Box arrived early but I received no call/email. When I called I was placed on hold for an hr and transferred back and forth. Not pleased with our experience.
