Mark H. | First ImpressionsThe unit I rented, had an area inside of it that is 5×5 that was completely blocked off and unusable to me. That is 1/8th of the total area that I couldn't use. I asked about a price break since I couldn't use that area, got a big fat nope. But I needed it, so I took it. But, that showed me what kind of company I was dealing with, and said all I needed to know to get a different place. I see that as blatant false advertising when you're renting a 10×20 unit and you're getting a unit that you can't use 25 sq ft of. And to charge the same rate as a fully useable 10×20 space ?? That's just wrong. So yeah, you lost a $250 a month renter, cuz you wouldn't make a $30 concession. The people and place are great, just didn't like the full price fee for a unit I couldn't use 1/8th of. And if you don't think 1/8th is a lot, cut your pay by 1/8 and see if you still don't think it's a lot. Other than that, all was good.

Daniel N.No matter when we arrive, early in the morning or later, it seems to take one individual staff member longer than usual to get going. We were helped by a female at this location. She kept blaming that she didn't have coffee that day and to forgive her, but in reality the check-in/out process shouldn't be that difficult. I think she could benefit from some more training.

Harold H.Nolin and staff are great. Very accommodating. Our only negative comment would be about the Uhaul policy of not pro rating Uhaul box rentals. We ended up paying an entire months rental for 2 boxes even though we only had them 2 days of the 30 day cycle. $150.00 for 2 days. It was not Uhauls fault at all, but still very frustrating.

Otherwise appreciate the folks working here including the manager. Always a good experience renting a van or truck or storage unit.

william W.This was by far the best trailer I have ever rented from uhaul. Apparently newer with good rubber. I see a Demco hitch and assume they built the running gear. I have owned 10 Demco trailers over the years as equipment haulers and they know their business. 1300 miles in 2 driving days and equipment was flawless.

And although we did miss our deadline before being charged(I didn't even realize after being in survival mode) there was no sympathy, no empathy just .. give us our money. Never mind CDC regulations. So, after spending 1800+ dollars on uhaul trucks and vans, thinking we'd save a little with the free month of storage, driving the truck 45mph the whole way, because it sounded like a bag of hammers, coming to a pitch dark storage unit, unable to see after 7:30 pm, aka after work, missing 2 weeks of being productive because the domino effect of a virus trickling its way down to the kids and finally to our elderly mother, I get told, sorry...PAY UP. SO that'd be my experience.

Balin G. | Overall Experiencethe owner acted like he was doing me a favor waiting on me ,no personality.He gave me my gate code and did not work and had to go to office 3 times,while the alarm was sounding the whole time I was unloading.The same thing happened to get out and the gate closed on my truck. the next day the same thing happened and was told the code should be 5 numbers not 4,still did not work I asked for a card and was told that corporate would not allow this.Today i needed to get tools out of the locker at 6a for a jod and couldn' t get in.When back at 10A to get something done and was told not to "yell at him' and he finally called for help and was given a gate card.This was all with the owner who should of called for help the first and could not figure how to return 2 mattress covers.This whole exerience I was treated are I was a problem and a inconvenience and if I had the energy and move out,lockers in Myrtle Beach are a dime a dozen.Thank you. mike Risner 4103024721

On January 22, 2022, the manager called me to see if I was still using my unit. I advised him that I had moved out 3 weeks prior and had personally told them I had moved out on the day we moved out.

Would be nice and considerate of uhaul to reimburse me some of the cost i had to pay for the hitch and installation. Since it cost me so much extra in gas and time to get it on and done correctly.

JAMES m. | Overall ExperienceConstant billing issues: would get bill, non-payment email, followed by payment email - every month for two years. Spoke with managers and general managers - to no avail. Mean, ugly people have worked at this location, extremely nasty people to deal with. Went to empty my unit, a non-payment lock was on my unit. - I'm on auto-payment? When manager went to my unit, told me this was due to non-payment, then changed his mind and told me it was because there was no lock on unit, which is impossible because U-Haul requires every unit to purchase a lock? I closed out my unit on the 5th and was told I would not be billed. Of course, I was, and the girl in the office on the 10th - told me not to worry about it as it was just an email blast. when I brought up, I had a pending charge, she transferred me to a manager to resolve. Get this, asked me for a card since my account they have been processing for two years has an issue? I hope I get my refund. Let's just say I have never been more frustrated and relieved to leave your business than now! Nothing positive to say, other than the [new manager Noel] seems like he really wants to help and was professional.
