She didn’t explain anything, short, rude. Never heard about having to keep under a certain number of miles, the closest U-Haul is an hour, which is a back track. Should’ve been explained this but all that was mentioned was gas tank levels… using a different service next time

Everything with the rental itself went smoothly, especially when I found out I needed a cargo van last-minute. The receipt says Breigs P, so if that was the agent who helped me out, thank you! :) What didn't seem fair was that I was asked to return the truck with a full tank. When I was driving off the lot, I noticed the tank wasn't full to begin with and took a photo of the gauge. When I returned the next day, I filled up on the way back to the office. I spent $28.95 on 5.8 gallons of gas after driving 14 miles. 14 miles and a $29 gas bill?? It nearly doubled the cost of the rental. I brought this up with the person who returned my van. I told him the gas wasn't full to begin with and all he said was "oh, it should have been." I asked if an adjustment to my bill could be made and he said there was nothing he could do. "So I just paid $30 for someone else's gas?" "Yeah, I guess." Just ridiculous. Why was this my responsibility? Why was I penalized for following the rules that not everyone had to follow? I'd love to have a conversation about this.

When we arrived, we got the U-Haul truck late. The worker was very unprofessional, I used the contactless pickup and they wouldn’t give the keys saying “oh you’ll probably just have to go to the customer service line” even after I saw my truck and confirmed it with what the app said. Will never go here again, it was extremely horrible and disorganized.

Carlos was very kind and patient! Briggs was super communicative with me when I let him know we misplaced my keys in the uhaul we had already returned and someone else was using it but he kept me updated several times throughout a 4 hour period. This location did not have any of the dolly equipment that I needed despite reserving it well in advance. This made my move unexpectedly more difficult. This office should do a better job of honoring reservations by making sure they are not promising equipment they do not have and having enough supplies as a moving company. A nice courtesy would’ve been giving me the equipment they did have (blankets) free of charge.

The website was a little confusing for picking out a unit as a newcomer to UHaul storage. Unfortunately we were unable to fit our couch through the staircase & door. Perhaps the website could more clearly indicate the tighter size restrictions for split-level units. I would also definitely appreciate more photos of the different types of units. After visiting the location in-person, I realized my mistake. Besides that the experience was good.

This location has long lines for pickup quite often compared to other locations (such as chinatown), but staff is always nice and helpful.. I just wished I didn't always need to plan an extra 20 minutes for pickups.

The truck I rented was old, had over 89,000 miles on it, and had been rode hard and put away wet. Rental center was good, they had the equipment that my reservation called for, but the poor condition of the truck had me worried the entire trip that there would be a problem with the truck

I was given a LOT of pushback when I tried to return the trailer. They tried to get me to take it elsewhere because they "didn't have space." Once I got through that problem (and it took the better part of 25 minutes, way too long), they had me pull it into the building and there was TONS of space, so that really irritated me. The young man that helped me was rude and off-putting. He made negative faces more than once and made no effort to be courteous/diplomatic.

Good morning I was extremely disappointed with the location at 1200 W.Fullerton I made reservations on April 26 for the truck and storage prior of returning bk to the location with my furniture the space that I had for was given away I was very disappointed. I had to go to another location and the customer service were extremely helpful mind u I had to make the reservations over the phone with the call center Nancy was helpful and I was given one month's free. I did not wanted to pd more for the space I had no choice. No I will not be returning bk to the uhaul at 1200 W.Fullteton also there was a customer that went through the same situation.

The truck had bird crap on the hood of the truck scratches on all sides. The inside can smelled like a person crapes in it. The wheel was dusty and I had a cracked tire on the passenger side if the weather was hot I believe I would have had a blow out. I asked the worker for another truck they refused me. If I did not have a job I promised to a customer I would have refused to do business with you people . I will never rent or recommend this unprofessional location. The manager was just as bad as his workers

“Traffic”’ informed us the night before the move that our truck was no longer available. We traveled 2,000 miles to do this move. They offered us a new location which was a 45 minutes away, each way, in an unsafe area. We had no vehicle, no family, just a hotel room. Not right. Won’t use again. Enterprise rents trucks.

I felt like I was going to get ripped off at every corner. As soon as I pulled off the lot my truck went up a mile and the gas gauge dipped below where they recorded. Customer service took hours to speak with someone, thankfully I was not charged a late fee due to their tiny parking lot being completely full. I had to wait an hour to unload. This isn’t the staff, this is the location. Regardless of their being uhauls all down the road, this is the only one next to a college and transient community. Fore warnings for surcharges will make the company look more credible and less sneaky. No one likes a sneak surcharge for something that you have no control over. Also, the 15” trucks do not fit on east side of the storage facility. It would be nice if this was taken in account on the website for this facility so that people wont have to make changes at the front desk. Jayce helped me out at this location and is an optimal employee. He was patient and attentive in a zoo of people. There was another gentleman that helped me in the morning and he was nice too. Kudos to them for being a shining example of quality customer service. They get 5 stars for sure!

My movers were stuck on elevator for 1 hour, which delayed our time schedule. Mr. Mueller needs to be trained in better customer service. I sent an email April 15th & April 17 informing him of my move and no longer using storage as of April 19th, 2024. He never replied to my notices. So I had no idea if he ever received my emails confirming. Even after notifying Uhaul of my last day, I was billed on April 26th,2024. Mr. Mueller can never be reached. I plan on following through with the CEO of Uhaul.

I’ve been there 2 days, the elevator was out of service, we have to stay two days getting out my stuffs by the stairs and I don’t feel no one sense of urgency to help. It was the worst experience I’ve ever done! I stay from 2pm to 2am late night to carry my stuffs in my arms, through the stairs.

Experience was totally fine except for the fact you don’t prorate your monthly charge. That was unexpected and something I will remember the next time I need storage. I moved out 2 days after my monthly renewal. It would’ve been nice to have a weekly charge rather than a whole month

No one ever answered calls. I would even leave messages with customer service reps and the location would never get back to me. This location charged me after I moved out and then I had to spend over an hour in the phone trying fix their mistake. The manager, Martin, is so rude and does not do his job properly. In person, Martin was rude to me after a mistake was made by a different manager, as he tried to blame me for it. Even after he was the one to move me out of my storage unit, two days later he sent email saying I would be charged. I called and told them I had moved out, Martin helped, and that I should not be charged. Two weeks later they took $100 from the. Had to fight to get the money back. Another employee had to help and was super kimd

I had 2 storages and 3 rental vehicles and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, even around last minute changes. The Lincoln Park U-Haul team that I worked with from mid July to mid August provided a great service.

My unit was sold out from under me without any notification, email or phone call or voicemail. I got notification a week after it was auctioned off. I lost everything I owned, family heirlooms, priceless items, irreplaceable memorabilia upwards to over 25,000. I will be retaining a lawyer and pursuing charges of business malpractice and theft of property.

Visiting the web site on a phone recommends installing the application a little too strongly. (The web site works well on the phone. I'd rather it informed me there was an application rather than launch the phone's app store, forcing me to switch back to the browser, reload the page, and hastily find the "Continue to web site" link.)
