The staff were especially helpful, even during the press of June 1st, when students were inundating the facility. My one COMPLAINT is that U-Haul didn't prorate the final month of my 2 storage spaces.

If it says big giant numbers on side of the van how much it cost most people would assume that's about how much it cost and then when it rings up to double and you say hey that's kind of not right you don't expect the person working there to say yeah did you expect us to give you a van for $20. Who says that. And then for him to say he knows it's a rip-off but he don't care it's not coming out of his pocket. And the van was dirty inside. The guy working there was extremely rude and didn't care about his customer. Would never go back to that location for sure.

I'd also rented two storage spaces for the last several months. As it happened, when we first loaded in our stuff it happened to be June first and the day that all the college people were using U-Haul services of all sorts. It was tremendously demanding for the staff, and every single one of them were tremendously patient, efficient and helpful. Moving everything out this last weekend was much calmer, and the staff was still great. Tell them all thanks for me.

this uhaul was so great! staff was kind and helpful, the space was clean, it was hardly busy, so loading and unloading was really easy. the process of signing up and canceling was super smooth!

I thought it was a very efficient online booking and in-person check out process including the trailer hook up. The return was also super efficient. Much better than years ago. U-Haul has really done a great job of streamlining everything and keeping prices affordable.

One of your representatives gave away a 15 foot truck that WE reserved from 1-6pm to someone else because we were late and arrived at 1:50. WE ARE MOVING. THINGS HAPPEN. If it is OURS until 6 PM, there is NO REASON to give away the truck we were completely reliant upon to someone else, with no effort being put in to call us. We were stuck with a cargo van to do both of our entire moves, took five times as long, and we worked for 30 hours straight. You caused us to drive an excess in miles going back and forth to both of our apartments and made the experience so frustrating. I am disappointed in the judgment of said individual at your location and I will no longer be using Uhaul, especially the Lincoln Park location, as my moving truck of choice, as I don’t have any trust in you anymore.

Your elevator was broken the day we moved in. Lock left on after daughter moved out. Several phone calls with you saying you take care of it and charge me. Never did. Horrible communication

I had a overall terrible experience from the day I went online to find a 20 ft truck which I was able to reserve online. I then was called and given a 10 ft with 5x8 open trailer which I was told I would not have to pay for the trailer. Upon picking up the truck I was told I would have to pay for the trailer. I then got a text stating I would have the truck 24 hours then at 430p got another call saying the truck is due back in. I needed a 20 ft ended up with a 10 could not move everything and lost some of my furniture because I had to leave it. I am so disappointed with my Uhaul experience.

Give your employees more autonomy so they don’t constantly need to ask for permission to do simple things. Honor your pricing. We were told we could get a certain price for movers by a uhaul agent then found out later that wasn’t true when we needed to make changes to the reservation.

Customer service was awful. I reached out to the store a couple times while I was out of town to see if I could get my rent due date moved to match my payday. Never got a response and had to pay extra

I discovered that the main door to the parking lot was broken and had been broken for TWO WEEKS !!! The wait time on a Friday evening was minimum half hour with ONE person working. UNHELPFUL!!

This facility is next to a university. It was the day before student dormitory move out and they were terribly understaffed to handle the customer needs. it was a 35 minute wait.

I have a problem with the fact that once I vacated my storage unit with about three weeks remaining, that I was then charged for rental of the UHAUL POD. Should have been prorated. NOT HAPPY!!!
