I will not send friends and family's to 140 ROCKBRIDGE RD Lilburn .My first bad experience is with a female that work there on 1/15/22 @11am .Very nasty. Then I got back with the truck there was a guy there I ask him to check the truck before I leave he says he can't. There was two of them there with no customers. He was too lazy ðŸ˜ª to walk out to check the truck.He told me he will check it later so I left the on my receipt he charge me for gas â›½ï¸ which I fill up back.Got the transaction to prove itDONOVAN J.

Upgrade your system to let customers knowing if trucks available at the time a reservation is made so they don't waste time and make unnecessary trips. I made a reservation about 2 days ahead of time @ the Jimmy cater location for a 15ft truck at 8am. I realized I would not make it at 8am and called back to change my pick up time to 10am, which the young lady did and sent me confirmation. I get there and they to tell me they have no trucks, and there were nontrucks anywhere available until later that day and the system will let you reserve a truck without even knowing if any are available. The clerk really couldn't help me and I asked for his manager who had been standing next to him the whole time and didn't even step in until I said something to assist an upset customer. Finally Noel called around and found me a truck at another location. I ended up working with Pondra at the Rockbridge location who assisted me beautifully. She advised the truck engine light was on and that she told Noel that at the Jimmy Carter location but he didn't relay that info to me before I headed over there. I ended up having to rent a bigger truck than I initially wanted but the service at the Rockbridge location was excellent.GETHSEMANIE A.

The only problem she has she can't keep enough trucks there you'll need to give her more trucks it's hard to rent because they're always out number either only issue has I like to rent a pick up truck I'll use my business debit card and now she's telling me that it Hass to be a major credit card that's not fair for people like me that has small business and I don't do credit card I do debit card I should be able to rent a pick up truck with my business debit card that's the only default I hate I had to go to Renton a box truck I can use my business debit but I can't you don't wanna pick up why is that you'll need to fix this problemESTES G.

Megan handled our service and was exceptional. She was hard at work in the morning when we arrived, and still hard at work in the afternoon when we returned our rental. What a great disposition. Love the place, hated that the ownership kept raising rent, especially on a renter that was there for over 5 years, always paid on time and was never a problem. I stuck it out during the pandemic when I was not working for almost a year because I stored my business materials (team building) there even though I never needed them and was making no income. Charge new people more when they rent, leave excellent renter rates alone. I would've stayed for a few more years as my business improved but the last 7% raise was too much. So I'm gone. The manager there is so unprofessional and should be fired. When I first came to Uhaul the manager at that time was helpful, friendly, and made my move in a good experience. When I left management changed and it was the most horrible experience I have had, the manager was rude, lazy and all around made Uhaul look bad. I have always looked at Uhaul as a class storage company but after dealing with her it gives the impression of The lowest class storage company. She spoke as if she was from the lowest educated part of Atlanta and treated me as if I was not important. Not only that but when I moved out she did not want to do her job and complete my move out which resulted in being charged the following month and I had to go through a lot just to prove I moved out to get my refund which I did and received my refund after a week. And yet again she fail to do her job once move and left me in her system again and they debit my account the following month as well when I called to have them refund my money and remove me from their system she spoke to me as if I was bothering her and even told me not to call there again as if she did not care I was over charged once again. I am stilling waiting on that refund as of today. I will never use your company again and have made it clear to all my social media followers that if they want good service any other company is better than yours. I know I have personally help 5 of my friends find other companies so they could move their belongings from Uhaul to a better company. I always have a lot of friends and business associates in the property management world who I have expressed my concerns with regarding your company and with your prices increasing and never being the better price in the first place they have also decided to discontinue referring clients to Uhaul. I hope this feedback helps make major changes to your company so that one day you can once again be seen as a class A storage facility.Amanda P. | Overall Experience

Keep HR issues at the back of the house. I don't need to hear about employee's employment history and ugly details of other managers. I just want to rent a trailer with little fuss. Otherwise though, I understand they're struggling with employee shortages, and the main person working this location was very knowledgeable and personable. The lady at the counter was very nice. The truck we rented was very very old. The heater did not work and it was cold that day plus it was raining all day. The heater didn't work in the truck and the defrost. I had to pull over several times because the window was fogged up and couldn't see. We almost had several close accident on the wet road. That vehicle need to be taken off the road or have major repairs done to it.NATHAN B.

I was not happy when upon arrival to pickup the equipment. When I reserved the truck, I also requested appliance dolly, furniture dolly and blankets/padding. None of these items were provided and were not available. Rear door to the truck was extremely difficult to open.Dale G.

The location itself was good. Very clean and professional. I was given a truck with a known check engine light and was told that everything was okay. He's not a technician and I'm sure he shared what he knew. Turn around to get the truck back on time and now the truck won't start. When it did, it's making loud noises. Eventually we were able to get the truck back in one piece to the location but went through a lot to make this happen. The truck should've NEVER been rented out. His managers should've never allowed him to do so. I will not be using uhaul again after this.devante L.

The truck was not in good working condition at all. This truck should not have been put in the road. It did not go above 20 miles per hour the transmission was shifting so bad the truck was jumping and the check engine light along with a green wrench kept popping up on the screen. Our trip took longer that expected because the truck was not working properly. Then we I went to return the truck the computer had us down for renting the truck for two days our paperwork showed we only wanted it for one. So lucky the lady was still cleaning the building so she was able to physically check me in and fix the information on the computer. Over all this was a very bad experience and I should not have had to pay for such bad equipment. ðŸ'ŽðŸ½TERRANCE S.

The service was great, but the employees need to be better equipped. They can be (and were) excellent but if the technology they're working with is garbage, it's going to taint the experience. I waited probably about half an hour for the computers to work properly. In addition, the tool for accepting credit cards has a light up indicator where you tap your card for payment. But apparently U-Haul doesn't use/accept that technology and in addition to not accepting payment, it messes up the (already slow) computer system and requires restarting the application process. Also, the online check-in / check-out method doesn't work well with high-definition cameras. If the picture I take is too high resolution, it won't upload. Not sure if this is a U-haul problem or an android problem but if I hadn't spent 20 minutes figuring out a work-around ,I would not have been able to properly check out.GEOFFREY P.
