The crew loaded the trailer onto the truck and strapped the car down for us in the pouring rain...above and beyond...great job. The drop off location was even better...just really nice people that cared about taking good care of the customer. I was impressed. I was not impressed with trying to call the local location, automatically transfered over to a nationwide calling center and could not talk directly with my simple question. Not cool.

I showed up at my appointed time, I was finally told several minutes later the truck I asked for was 15 miles away, and I could just drive up there to get it. so I can pay for more miles? I was canceling the reservation when luckily someone dropped off a p/u so after another 10 minute delay the reservation was put in my name. I haven't read the fine print on your guarantee, but I think it's clear y'all didn't hold up your end of the bargain

Richard McKeeThey did not have an appliance dolly available even though I reserved online ahead of time. The workers did not show up for morning shift so we had to hook up and lift trailer ourselves, luckily my husband was with me, as a single female I’m not sure what I would have done. The light cord for trailer was missing so we had to go back in and get another one to much confusion from the the employee. It just made for a long moving day. Then at the end I had to return it the trailer to one store and appliance dolly to another. I wish we would have just gone to the other location (811 e state hwy 121) first. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, they had everything at one location and had people ready to help us. The worker there offered to load our appliance dolly into our trailer. I’ve done many U-Haul trailers in the past. This was very different from the normal and disappointing. I would not recommend the stemmons freeway location to people looking to move.
CAROLINE BROOKEThe manager was very helpful and friendly. The 3 other employees I encountered were not very helpful and not customer friendly. When returning a trailer I really needed a receipt that showed I returned the trailer unharmed. I had to make 3 trips into the showroom while getting the runaround. I tried to tell an employee that there was a dolly in the trailer as he walked away from me. When I followed him to see if he Heard me he just said “ I heard you” not bothering to stop walking away from me all the while.

DOUGLAS CLERThis trailer was beat up and modified when repaired from the original configurations. I am grateful the damages were not assessed to me but this makes it hard for me to dispute charges when it is so hard to see what is damaged and what is not.

Perry LoweryI have rented both a truck and trailer the past two weekends. Using the website was a very bad experience. On the first rental, we had to call customer service. They were very helpful. On the second rental, I gave up and just called the dealer directly. The service I received there was excellent. The website is a real drawback and I will just call dealers directly in the future.
paul stevensPick up scheduled for 7 am. They were not set up yet so I came back at 7:15. I had a reservation already, but they did not have any gas in the truck they had set for me. Took another clunker with .25 in the tank. Meanwhile highway was shutdown both ways over the lake so had to take another longer route around the lake at $1.19 per mile. Truck transmission made noises the whole time. Not well maintained.
Kenneth EnosU-haul changed my reservation (less convenient) from a local place in order to get the size I requested. However, neither the size truck I reserved nor the dolly I reserved were available. So, I had to drive much further and take multiple trips, resulting in a more-than-anticipated mileage charge. The staff was very polite, and had to endure an alarm beeping at the front door.

Also no one should have to pay full price if they are not there the entire month. Had to pay a month of storage just for my belongs to be there 6 days. I wouldn’t advise anyone to use this place.

Uhaul windshield sign was up .. there was empty energy drink can in the cup holder .. I drove the truck to the front of the office and handed over the items to the shop attendant.. It is cold and rained in DFW metroplex since last Friday.. The driver side door leaked cold air in the cabin .. because of the rain and cold I was not able to finish my moving in one day. All I needed is a couple of extra hours to finish and I could deliver the truck back. Same night I called in I was told even if I keep it for a couple of hours I have to pay the full next day rental, they charge me for it .. Not happy .. The truck was leaking water inside the cargo. It was all wet inside the cargo in the box… The truck drove rough with a lot of vibration and noise on the road at 65 mph..

I get to the unit and try to unload my uhaul trailer after hours to come across not being able to. I had my wife and children ( 2children and a newborn) waiting in y’all’s parking lot trying to get help to get into our unit. Also had to miss work because I had to call customer service multiple times.I call and talk to several customer service people just to get told they cannot help me. Then I ask to speak to someone higher up just to keep getting told that in emergency situations like this y’all have no plan in order to proceed to help your customers. I talked to 3 customer service reps and then a customer service manager. 1) customer service rep hung up in my face. 2) was a customer service rep through the live chat that pretty much had no care and couldn’t help. 3) was a customer service rep who listen and tried to help me to the best of her abilities. She did keep telling me that there wasn’t anyone I could talk to. Finally I got to talk to a customer service manager who was great and helped me every way he could. I still didn’t get access to the storage but he did send out emails. I believe on emergency situations y’all need more plans to help y’all’s customers.

I asked if there was a way to go check or call the desk specifically to see and she said “oh sorry she doesn’t have a phone down there so you’ll just have to go see” It was an absolute nightmare picking up our truck with the 24/7 check in and on top of that they never gave us the dolly and furniture cloths we paid for. So getting this call after going through all of that was just the thing for me to never use U-Haul again.

Robin Lindley | Overall ExperienceOnline check still required check in at facility. Staff at facility (Karen/Greg) was professional, positive, and most helpful. Avg rating for this reason. Though I have 24-hour access, system did not work after hours. Created a huge problem with a 26ft truck with with furniture to move in. On June 3 at 11 PM at night I had no other recourse but to stack up the truck and my home garage because the truck needed to be returned the following day. Not at all happy about that incident. That night when trying to gain access, there was another customer there experiencing the same situation. Though he called the contact number there was nothing U-Haul could do to reset or to provide entry. I also contacted U-Haul to which they informed me that there was nothing they could do to give me access after hours. This is a situation that you have needs to seek to resolve. When you have a full truck of items that need to be unloaded, you must definitely need 24 hour access that was agreed-upon in the contract. However the next day when I return to the facility, Greg research and determined that he could not explain what happened the previous evening. He tested reset and tested my card and walked over to ensure it was working. No explanation for the access being denied the previous night. He promised to research and determine if my contract could be extended or what credit accommodations U-Haul would make for the unfortunate experience the previous night.
