Worst Uhaul experience ever. Had another reservation at another location and was not able to get in touch with anyone there. When I arrived there was notified my reservation had been moved and then canceled. Got no notification of any of this. Found this location to have the only truck available in the area so reserved over the phone. When I arrived at scheduled time, they claimed they did not have a reservation and did not have a truck. After a bit, another employee came in and said reservation was available. Extremely frustrating experience.Sondra P.

Add more employees up front. I waited over 30 minutes before talking to anybody when there was only two people in front of me. Even though I got there 15 minutes before my reservation time, I lost 30 minutes of my reserved 4 hours because the poor employee was ran everywhere and had to do everything himself. There was a long line behind me too. He dealt with rentals, returns, filling propane tanks, taking somebody to their storage unit, and helping somebody figure out how to even pay. He was great but the wait was stupid insane for how little people were INITIALLY there.Lindsay H.

I don't have a single positive thing to say about uhaul after this, and my last trip. My truck wasn't ready when I reserved it. When I finally got it the truck was filthy. The truck wobbled while on the highway. The brakes sucked. I was on edge the whole time driving it. The employees as every location I went to were young dumb ass kids who didn't give a shit about customer service. Trash company and I know none of you bastards care because it's the same shit every time. I'm paying more for a different truck next time. Never using uhaul again, fucked up trash comapnyrichard C.

This is the second time I visited this location, and I will never visit here again. Also I'm being charged $340+ dollars for miles that I did not drive. I drove from Abilene to Killeen, no stops, no other detours and the guy claims I went over 300+ miles. How is that possible, when my trip is 180 miles from both addresses. If you leave items in the vehicles you use then they don't put it in the lost and found. They don't check the vehicles well. My backpack disappeared but I know for sure that I left it in the uhaul! Customers call about their items but they are never found. Don't leave important things in the trucks or you'll never see them again.Courtney R.

Hello, I have rented from Uhaul 8 times in the last 2 years moving family, kids, etc. The Killeen experience was the worst. Not friendly and worst of all, the items we chose to rent days before online were not available and put us in a Sunday pickle. I ordered a utility dolly and a furniture dolly. I received neither as the claim was he hadn't had those items for months, BUT he was really quick to sell us models off the floor. I didn't know the dollies and the 1/2 dozen mats were missing until I opened the locked door at the property. We had no choice so I bought both a furniture dolly and a utility dolly at Uhaul. If I had known you didn't have these items I would have chosen a different source. Rented twice in Glendale, AZ the week after and rental confirmation was accurate and the team is really efficient. I fully expect someone to call me on this to put this to rest. I don't like I spent $100 extra on items I had no long term use for and made multiple trips to the facility to resolve. The hitch was installed within an hour and a half. However, when my husband asked for the hitch ball attachment, he noticed that it didn't fit. Instead of taking the hitch off, the worker came out with a hammer and a mallet, and then started hammering the hitch ball attachment in (which didn't work of course). My husband refused to leave with the hitch that was installed because not only did the hitch ball not fit, the worker had hammered/damaged the brand new products. We even have a video of the worker doing it with attitude when my husband repeatedly said we're not leaving with the hitch that was installed. Not only was my husband there for a total of 5 hours, had the worker hammered a little higher he could've damaged our newly purchased 2022 vehicle. They eventually took the hitch off and gave us a full refund. However, that should've been the first solution when realizing the hitch was a defect. Not coming out with a hammer, a mallet, and a ridiculous attitude as if it were the customers fault.MAGDALENE M.

I took my car to install a hitch cable from the outside of my car. BTW, This cable was not properly installed in the same store. After waiting almost three hours (instead of the 45 minutes), they gave me my car back with another cable, again installed from the inside, and to make the situation worst, shorter than the previous one. I was upset because they didn't installed the connector outside of my car (as requested). They told me that the lights were not working (that was not true), also the installer said that he checked the lights and was not working. In the end, they charged me 70+ dollars for something that i didn't order. Horrible store and customer service. Definitely i will use a different U-Haul store.Jorge C.
Update your online scheduler to only include times that employees are actually there. I made an appointment for 9 AM for hitch installation and arrived and was told the person who installed hitches did not get there until 10. Poorly ran organization, they do not inspect their vehicles. They gave a 10' truck with only one light working, I did not realize it until night fall! People honking at me, with their Beams on high because I was blinding upcoming traffic. I almost ended up in a ditch dead because I could not see a dead deer on the road. The truck smelled gasoline when I would put the AC on blast. I should have checked their reviews before doing business with them because they are all bad.Radjiv B.

Staff was very unhelpful. Walked in after having to do my reservation twice (once online which was cancelled by the location, and second over the phone on my way to the location). Upon arriving I told associate bout reservation to which he just started and shrugged his shoulders. It was not until I started to call the number that he decided to pull up my info. From the the transaction got worse. He kept miss meeting in information and making jokes about messing up. To them when I got the keys he walked me to the door pointed to the row trucks and said it's one of those. By the time I found it and started to do yall online Check our procedure they are already been done by the staff inside. I requested a 26 Foot truck from a location close to my home at 8:00 AM on Saturday for an 8-hour time period. I was called by a U-Haul rep informing me of the location change and time change. New location was farther from my home and the time was now at 08:45 AM. This ruined my schedule with the hired workers AND the return time was now 7 hours. I have been now penalized for being late returning the truck. Charged me an additional $39.95 for the two hours that I was "late".Jesus C.

The truck needs new windshield wiper blades badly. The lights in the bed of the truck did not work. We tried multiple times and never got them to work. The guy that waited on us told me the place I requested to return the truck was not an option on his screen, even though I told him exactly the name and location of the place. We have returned trucked there previously and was the most convenient for us, He said " I'll just put customer doesn't know where they want to return the truck on the contract" - and then I'll have to call before I can return it. So I called - waited on hold for 10 minutes and then the lady said i was good to go and had no idea why they couldn't find the location since it came right up in the system as I said it would.David F.

U-Haul website needs to reflect the actual facility access hours. It closes at the same time as the office and cannot be entered after business hours. Extremely inconvenient if a customer needs access after coming over from work or while moving. Due to covid we have to wear masks. The staff was not wearing a mask. And they were eating... I brought it to their attention about the masks being necessary and they said " oh yea but" and continued eating.. Some 4 more customers came in without masks and they didnt tell them anything.
