You charged my credit cards three times for the rental of one truck based on your archaic computer system, a local franchisee manager who has nary a clue what she is doing, and, as such, her staff is completely untrained, and personnel at your 800#'s who have no authority and in some cases the knowledge to correct what should should have been an incredibly easy situation to resolve. The U-Haul organization is in total disarray and has lost any trace of customer cenctricity. Next time . . .Ryder for sure!Charles F.

While the location and equipment were very nice the staff needs a bit of some training. The staff person is overwhelmed and not able to answer questions, calls go on hold for a very long time. Staff person was also rude in person not just on the phone. Unclear if staff is simply overwhelmed therefore they have a bad attitude or what exactly the situation is, but there definitely needs to be some changes made.TYLER C.

It took over an hour for me to get my key because the associate working said I needed to wait for a code to pop up on my phone to pick it up from a locked container out front. The app explicitly said to pick it up at the counter, and didn't not provide a code. Finally, another employee came in, looked at the key wall hanging behind the counter, and quickly spotted my key and gave it to me.Robin C.

The staff at this location do not help resolve problems they create. I had reserved a truck with insurance. They did not place insurance on the truck. When I realized they hadn't I asked to place it but because I had waited over 15 minutes they told me I would have to reverse everything, and that means I would have be charged for a day rental. I was upset and the woman said â€œI'll take care of itâ€. We went about our way and I get a phone call back with her just putting some money back on my card which is NOT taking care of it. The next day I came back asking to reverse and fix her mistake she told me she can't unless I want to get charged for the day. She didn't bother to look at other options or seek someone higher up for advice. In addition, I rented a trailer but when I asked for help guide me and they didn't want to because they didn't know how. This location is bad with customer service and don't want to help their customers. I decided to drop the trailer completely and fortunately was able to receive my money back.Yelena K.

Work on customer service skills. The manager was very rude and once I returned the equipment the return employee called me a man then proceeded to tell me I needed to return the equipment in it's location. I would like for someone to call me because this is very horrible.niaimah R.
I've used uhaul and other rental truck services quite a bit over the years, and this was the friendliest, most helpful staff I've ever had. Front desk clerk was very friendly and she was easy to understand and helpful. The drop off employee was also extremely friendly and very clear about all the details. Properly trained staff and hire managers who care. The gentlemen who helped me could barely type yet the managers wanted him to handle my contact alone even though he was having issues with the system. After 1hr I ended up with the wrong size trailer which was too small and I am having to make this costly trip again.ANDRES D.

I was overcharged and no one has responded to my inquiry for a week. I prepaid for six extra days (for a total of 12 with the 6 days included) upon the start of the rental, and then was charged a late fee even though I returned it on the 10th day. Unacceptable.PHILLIP K.

The place we selected pushed us to another location miles away. The new location was way understaffed. Only one person on a Saturday morning with 15 people in line. Truck had a check engine light due to gas cap. The person who checked truck in obviously didn't check truck. What else was wrong that I didn't find.Timothy B.

Can you explain to me why I can't access my storage unit 24/7 like advertised? Like I understand it's a software check but why is it not default? So now I have to have things in my car while deployed instead of being able to put the items in a climate controlled storage unit.JUSTIN A.
I had a 1:00 pm appointment to have a hitch installed. When I arrived there, scat was in the stall, no one working on it. I had to drive to another facility to get installed.if it had not been a prepaid item, I could see a wait, but not when I had already paid for it. They should have taken that car off the rack because evidently the owner was not there There is no excuse for that to happen. I am a senior citizen and a. 100 % disabled vet. I deserved better. It wasn't ok for to have to drive half way across town to get my hitch installed!!!!Sonny S.

The trailer was not swept out, but it was well maintained mechanically. Dropoff was a challenge due to grumpy employee. But it was late in the day and perhaps he just wanted to go home. I would rent here again.Brandy B.

I appreciated the quick and friendly service. I see no room for improvement at this time. My reservation (made the night before) was ready for me when I got there and the employee who helped me was super friendly and efficient.PAUL T.
The place of the original reservation for S Fort Hood street was not open! The reservation was quickly changed to this location. So now the review is for veterans memorial location. Quick and easy check in. I was running an hour late and should have checked out the wipers and ramp before leaving. My fault. Those items did not work. I needed roadside assistance but it was 11:00 pm when I called. I got help at 12:30 am. The ramp could not be fixed except by climbing under the truck to push it up. This meant that I would not be adding anymore to the truck in the morning for the drive to unload. At unload, I paid a young guy to help me because I needed to return the truck and the only way to close the back is if the ramp is correctly stored. Windshield wipers.did not work because they were old and made no contact on right side. If there had been bad weather, this would have been dangerous. Positives: I got good gas mileage and was comfortable in the driver's seat. The mirrors on both sides were helpful seeing other cars. I did not drive over 70 mph, but 60-65 on the highway. Check out the wipers, the body and the ramp before you leave. I sanitized the cab before I left the location and cleaned after I dropped it off.LISA V.
When I first went to pick it up, the guy who was supposed to connect the trailer on to my truck couldn't pick it up. So now the office lady, who is just standing there.. says to me "are you gonna help pick it up?" So I pick it up and connect the trailer...then I have to go back and attach the trailer lights. It looks like she bent the prong trying to attach the lights. Probably the worst service I've ever seen. The pictures of the trailer that they used weren't even current, they used older pictures from some other day.ERNEST M.

How about letting the customer know of additional charges. After the drop off inspection I was told everything was ok & to pickup my receipt inside. It wasn't until I was walking to my car that I noticed a $17 charge for fuel. Even though I filled it to the specified amount. If it wasn't for a list of things to do that day & the thought of having to argue with some manager I would have gone back inside to contest it. I wasn't informed that I would not get my deposit back if I didn't use the truck. I returned the truck after a few hours later unused because I went to see the house first I was going to deliver to and found it to be inhabitable. After that I returned the truck. I originally set my rental up for a different location and was expecting to pick up at 0900. As I am on my way to the location I get a call from Uhaul saying the location I selected does not have the equipment I requested. The closest location was the next town over. The person giving me a ride was unable to take me that far so I had to return home and drive myself. When I arrived at the new location only one person was working and 4 people were in line ahead of me. The line did not move fast. Then when it was my turn they told me that my pickup time was at 1200 and my rental was not ready. So again I had to wait. I was way behind scheduled. I was not pleased with my experience.Jason R.

Manager of the store is rude, she had a new employee training him and was very condescending the way she spoke to him as well as me. She never did an inspection of the equipment after she informed the employee he was hooking the trailer to my truck wrong, consequently when I went to load a vehicle on the car hauler, one of the straps to strap the tires to the trailer was damaged and therefore wouldn't reach the rachet mechanism to secure the load. Very displeased with the service from the female manager as well as the equipment she rented me. I'll never frequent this location again with her running it .T M.

Due to covid we have to wear masks. The staff was not wearing a mask. And they were eating... I brought it to their attention about the masks being necessary and they said " oh yea but" and continued eating.. Some 4 more customers came in without masks and they didnt tell them anything. I ecpressed how i had lost 2 family members of covid and 23 friends and maks were necessaty and they laughed it off...
