We had a 8 AM pick up on Sunday. The workers did not show up until after 8 and then told us he needed time to open the store. My plans were to be out of there by at least 8:15 so I could get on the road, but I was not able to until after 8:30. The people are helpful and friendly but they need to open up on time.

I would prefer to give above average but I couldn't because I thought there would be some equipment to lift heavy stuff or the drop clothes. Everything else was great. Thank you!

First truck given to me had check engine light on. Was given another truck but this wasted time. Did not receive updated contract with new vehicle number. When truck was returned to drop off location never received email notification and received additional $6.00 charge and have no idea what that was for.

So many things was happening in my life family my health and on an i go on . I had to give up the apartment and things in it and that's where U-Haul came in after having a few boxes left I put it in storage for a later date to pick up it help.

I had the worse experience ever. I was stuck in the snow 5x's, I slid, the ice kept building on the windshield wipers and making it hard to see I had to wipe them off over and over. The defogger wasn't working. It was horrible and scary.

Pick up location did not have the trailer that reserved at the reservation time. They said the earliest they would have it was 5 hours after original reservation time. We were able to coordinate with a regional office to pick it up 2 hours after our reservation time, but needed to drive an additional 25 minutes further to get it.

The husky African American man was extremely professional and courteous. Unfortunately, he wasn't the associate who assisted me. The other young man could use a course in client service. He doesn't greet or acknowledge clients nor does he reply when spoken to. I understand he works in a challenging neighborhood however, not ever client that comes through the door is of the neighborhood. He has to learn to flex his client service style according to his audience.

Wash and clean the vans. My van was filthy outside. Inside it was neat. The bed of the van was free of garbage. Wash the vans once in a while.

I tolerated occasional cockroaches and mice droppings all over my belongings, but the bird poop I'm my storage unit was the last straw. Uhaul facility in Inwood,NY needs updating to say the least. Too many pests.

The facility does not have enough customer service reps to help customers. It was a very unpleasant and scary experience getting to assigned unit of 2901. That unit was all the way in the back, I got lost trying to find it, the directions to units are not clear enough. I eventually came upon a gentleman who was working in an enclosed area who helped me out. The general manager is very professional and pleasant, though. But she might want to see how to make it easier for customers to get to their units easier and quicker.

Staff is great but this place is infested with mice. All of our stuff had mice poop in it when we moved out. Access hours are extremely limited compared to other places (unless you pay extra). There are no lights in the storage units themselves, and the ambient light from the corridors isn’t enough to adequately illuminate the inside of the units.

Your service was excellent until the last day. I literally waited in the store office for around 25 minutes before anyone assisted me. I called the office and I just heard the phone ring. I called the store manager Ms. Cleopatra Jones-Brown at 516.239.6374 and no answer. Her business card has her cell phone so I called it at 347.832.7237 and she still did not answer. I texted her and she still did not answer. By the time someone came the store had approximately 8 people waiting for service. This final day was horrible and unacceptable. You cannot leave you door open and then when customers come in there is no one to take care of them. Also don't put you cell phone on your business card if you are not going to answer the calls. If you open your doors THEN STAFF YOUR FACILTIY ACCORDINGLY.

Very disappointed. Came in w my wife n daughter w reservation. Torn between 2 sizes. Had questions. Customer service was horrible. Tanika was talking to me like every question bothered her. Attitude and talked back. Felt like an argument than a conversation.Told her I need to see actual storage space to make final decision. Negative vibes and I still proceeded w purchase. Yonkers rep took time to take me to actual storage space,she didn't care. Im aware of uhaul cards sometimes not working properly gave me a used card w back stripe very worn, told me it was brand new,could not activate it. So i suggested to try another card she said no.yonkers rep tried 2 cards before giving me one thats works. felt uncomfortable taking card that didn't work. Once we got to the back we needed guidance she refused. At this point my wife said cancel but I still proceeded to the back. Once I got there, the stairs and narrow walkway was not gonna work for me which I for warned her if pillar or anything inconvenient would make me not proceed w me paying i would refund. I WAS A LAYDOWN EASY PURCHASE.! If she took the time be professional, courteous, friendly i would still have took it. But the disappointment, anger n frustration w her push me to cancel and give my business in another storage in valley stream. I didnt ask for free storage i paid for mine. didnt deserve this treatment. There's more but I'm done. Asked to speak to manager she said no. When I came back in to give her me receipt for refund. She didn't want to, ask her coworker to do HER the favor . Rep name Tameka proceeded w my refund. She was friendly and helped HER out to help me out. Appreciated that!. Money hasn't hit my card yet . Ms. Cleo please call me 7184338069 to follow up about refund sorry it did not work out..

The quality and maintenance of the units on the upper level that we rented is very different from that on the lower level (we have friends who rent ground floor units). The upper level is unprotected (no ceiling other than a type of chicken wire) and exposed to vermin (many traps and poison packets in view). There was also difficulty with the key card as well accessing the building after hours. The lobby/sales area is very clean and well maintained. The staff is also stellar. They’re professional, friendly, polite and helpful. They make all the difference.

I received bed bugs on all of my things, had to throw away my whole bedroom set. I paid for storage for 6 months and I could of just thrown half of it away saved the money and bought a new bedroom set

To many people that uhaul rent storage to do not pack there things they just put them in storage no rapping no boxes dirty and this is one of the reason UHAUL HAS RATS. Staff should watch moving in
