Just a suggestion ... I do think the highest risk to your trucks comes when drivers have to pull into gas stations to fill up the tank. U-Haul should seriously consider eliminating this risk by charging "fair market" price per gallon of gas.Christopher P.

Took me a few minutes to find out how to put the hazards on. That's dangerous! There seems to be a sticker for everything but that. Also, the light in the rear didn't work and also took a while to even find the signage showing how to control it. I had issues on my phone checking in and issues checking out. So I waited for someone for a while as the signage instructs and I sat there but no one came for a long time. He was kind, however, once he showed. The location seems fairly put together but the online system was trouble. Also, you should make the documentation including terms of service and vehicle instructions available prior to checking in. I wanted to be careful on the road with the truck but I wasn't going to sit there and study all the documentation when there was simply no time to do so.Azriel Z.

On March 19, 2021 I had picked up a reservation for a cargo van and I was charged twice because the worker was doing too much at one time. Rushing my order and trying to take another order at the same time. He gave me the wrong truck. I was charged $113.25 for the estimate and when I came back on 547pm on March 19 to drop the cargo van off, I was charged another $82.16 A young woman said I would be reimbursed the difference but I was charged twice . Now my account is negative. I have been dealing with this particular location for years and never had so many problems.Todd C.

Hire customer friendly representatives at the Sheridan Blvd location who are kind and are willing, ready and able to put the customer first. Proactive employees are needed, especially in a time such as this when life has presented itself very challenging on many different levels. Uhaul customers are usually experiencing some kind of challenge in their life, which is why one would need this particular service; whether it be a vehicle rental, and or, or a storage unit. Also, the customer is usually working under time constraints which is why the customer service representative(s) need to be sensitive to these needs. Kind and sensitive representation is what UHaul needs on the frontline. This location needs an employee OverHaul. Shameful representation of the Uhaul organization.DEXTERA W.

Full disrespect and rudeness. I was ignored, overcharged with fraudulent claims by very rude and inattentive worker, mistreated and lied to. Very nasty individual who is a liar and needs to get fired. Complained to his superiors and branch office. Have video and photographs of all lies, disrespect, manipulation, ignoration and fraud by one specific person who wasted time intentionally and created false claims. He needs to get fired immediately. He was very very rude and unprofessional. This is not how you deal with customers. Horrible customer service and disrespectful and zero education level. Avoid this location at all costs. Have videos to prove it. Will file claims until person is removed and thrown out from facility and fired for good. He is a crook and belongs in prison.ARKADIY R.

i rented for a 2 day period the back door got stuck and i could not use it i brought it back early and was still charged as if i rented for a full 2 day, then because i could not clean the back due to the broken door besides charging for use i couldn't use. Reserved truck at Rockville Centre. Didn't realize that location changed until last minute. Cost me an extra $40 in mileage . Tried using â€œchatâ€ feature on internet which wasn't helpful. Was directed to call a 631 number in the morning. Called- no one answered. Called again and it kept routing me to different locations. No was was able to help me solve my problem. This was an overall Uhaul issue, not particularly Inwood. When returning truck, was accused of hitting something. Was also accused of taking the hand truck out of the back, however, when i got the truck- the back door was wide open.Timothy C.
