Otherwise it was a perfect experience, would definitely recommend this U-Haul and would definitely rent from them again if there is a need. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Roberta I.The staff did not familiarize me with the vehicle at check in. It took 3 contacts on my part to get the vehicle checked in at the end of the rental and took in excess of 24 hours. Zach & Susan both promised to check me in and didn't. Shannon finally had to call the General Manager to get it done.

When I went to drop of truck Assistant manager was extremely rude and threatened to report the trucks stolen if I did not return keys to him immediately even though I was bringing back the trucks early and my contract was to return the trucks the following morning at 9am. The manager told me that the assistant manager had given blood 3 hours prior to me dropping off trucks and was feeling unwell and dizzy. She also stated he was in a hurry to close for the night and get out of there. I was going to return the equipment online therefore there was no reason for the employee to harass me to return the keys to him. The assistant manger repeatedly harassed me even after I ask him several times to please stop. He even threaten to call the police on me. I am extremely unsatisfied with my experience. I had just spent 9 hours moving and the last thing I needed was to be treated so poorly by employees and shown such disrespect and Harassment for no good reason.

brianny Y.I MIGHT recommend this location to a friend, maybe not. The people were friendly and helpful, but the truck had a rough ride. It seemed like it needed an alignment. It also smelled heavily of nicotine and it made me wish the steering wheel and other parts had been washed down. Also, the fees kept going up until it was double the original quote. That was disappointing. Overall though, the truck worked fine and we were able to move everything and that's what we needed.

james L.When you rent something that has a 24 rental period for the price and the National call center makes the time frame suggestion to you and posts it to your reservation, don't you dare be late! There's No maybe you'll be charged you will be charged for another day!!!! Speaking to the assistant manager and he makes a phone call to the manager and sorry sir that's policy! We have been Long time customer's of Uhaul until today. Sorry that's my policy, you don't treat customers like that, also read your contract well you will be CHARGED $20 FOR AFTER HOURS RETURN!!! They have your credit card number and will charge it!! Ellie NEVER would have treated us like that!! God Rest her soul. Picked up rental at 4:30 pm they close at 7 pm open at 7 am returned by 9 am the next morning, an hour and a half early if you were to use business open hours within the 6 hour suggested time anyway. Also had another duplicate unit on premises for rental when returned. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!

Mark J.I've moved (cross country) 4 times now and never had so many problems. Apparently when you rent a Uhaul truck or a Uhaul storage unit, Uhaul takes your money and reservation and never actually "assigns" it to a specific truck or storage unit. This happened with my truck AND my storage unit. I showed up to the storage facility on my move-in day to find out that the unit I reserved was not available, nor were any other units available in that size. I was then in a position that I had to agree to pay $50 more every month for the next size up (because I knew my stuff wouldn't fit in the next size down and I had movers on a ticking clock). The CSR I worked with was very kind and apologetic; I have no complaints about him. I also appreciate that his manager gave me a free month of storage because of this error. This specific storage facility is fine. My unit was clean, I feel safe when I go, and I have confidence that my stuff is safe. I cannot say I would recommend this facility to a friend though; specifically because of the association with Uhaul and the terrible Uhaul experience I've had.

WILLIAM W.I arrived at U-Haul at approximately 10:15 AM EST to pick up a 6' x 12' trailer I reserved for the day. I was the only customer in the store when I arrived. The two individuals operating this location should not be left unattended without a manager on site. The two people working the front desk had never rented a trailer before and were completely clueless. Then they received a phone call from a lady in Italy wanting to pay her yearly storage fees on her two rental units. She wanted to pay by credit card over the phone. This completely blew these two mouth breathers mind. I will spare you all the details, but I finally left at 11:45 AM with the trailer. It took an hour and half to pick-up a reserved trailer with all my information saved in the computer. Once the trailer was securely hitched to my truck the U-Haul attendant could not figure out how to get the U-Haul phone to take a picture of my license plate. Really??? These were the bottom of the barrel employees to say the least and I'm being nice. I will never use this U-Haul location again, nor would I ever recommend this location to anyone I remotely like.

Kevin P.Check in was pleasant with a very sweet agent who I overheard was still training. The truck performed perfectly and got the job done. When returning at 4:30 PM 12/14 during heavy traffic at the sharp left turn before the facility I must have missed whatever sign there was for the return lane. Pulling into the drive, that same agent asked if I was making a return. Yes. “You need to put it in the return lane.†Where is that. “Where the return arrows say it is!†I turned around and followed the signs as best I could while dodging traffic in the dusk and finally saw the small stop sign for the return lane. The same stop sign used on every gate with differing instructions I could now read close up. I stayed in the truck as the sign instructed, not willing to violate another rule. For 10 full minutes the agent stacked boxes and studiedly ignored me. When I went in, he asked, “Why did you stay in the truck.†The sign told me to wait. “I told you to put it in the return lane, not sit there.†Fine. I handed over my contract. “Do you have the keys.†Yes. “You're all done.†You know, if you had just pointed to the return lane, this would have been a lot easier. “You need to leave, right now.†And to my back as I walked out to wait for my taxi, “You need to learn some manners.†My overall impression: sweetness when there is supervision present, not so much without witnesses. Customers are all stupid for not reading signs and following instructions familiar to the agent. Customers who don't follow instructions are to be treated like incompetent subordinates. My idea of service: helping the customer to be successful in what is often a completely unfamiliar process. Consideration: people returning a 15 foot truck at dusk have probably had a pretty rough and tiring day and are not at their best. A 73 year old man who loaded and unloaded 1,300 pounds of cargo a few hours ago deserves a little slack. The receipt was signed Zackery Veach. I leave it to you to confirm the agent's identity.

MARGARET M. | Overall ExperienceFirst of all I was supposed to get one month of storage free. I didn't ask for climate controlled storage but that's what they put me in at $104 a month. I was tired from moving and didn't notice the paperwork until it was too late to change it. Then after many months of paying that amount I finally moved out before my rent was due and I notified the manager. And guess what? I was still charged $104 even though I'm no longer using the storage space. Now I'm still trying to get a refund. The facility is nice but the business practices are not.
