I reserved a pickup truck to do a little yard work. When I reserved the truck online, the quote said it would $30 total with the $20 rental fee and $10 for optional insurance. By the time I returned the truck (after driving a mere 25 miles total) it cost $60 all together. I could have hired a kid in the neighborhood to do the work for a fraction of that price. It's robbery and lying. They shouldn't say it's $20 to rent a truck when in reality it's closer to 50.
Ian L.Put a sign out front indicating the location of the drop box. The guy inside mopping got way too angry about me knocking on the window and asking where it was. He yelled and was in a rage. Simple solution:. Sign on the front window indicating where to drop the keys.

David A.We arrived for our 26 foot Truck that had been scheduled for pick up a week in advance, and they didn't have one. Ended up with a 20 Foot Truck. Then we use the vehicle to haul 2 loads, use 13 miles, put in 2 gallons of gas to make sure we were at 1/4 tank and then returned. The next day I am charged $118... Stated we weren't at 1/4 tank so they charged a $30 fuel fee plus $33 in who knows what else gas charge... But agreed on the mileage we used.. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that we didn't use more then 2 gallons going 13 miles.. And all this after screwing us on our original reservation. Then when we call Lonnie or whoever is the manager was rude and unprofessional and told my boyfriend "Come put more gas in it then!" and hung up. When he went down there to talk to him, he wouldn't come out of the back and made some lady talk to my boyfriend for him as he told her stuff over a walkie talkie intercom thing to say. waste of time and money!!! Worst Customer Service I have ever received... Extremely unprofessional.. Just a Bunch of Money Hungry scammers!! Would not recommend to ANYONE!!!
Mark B.I had a two day auto transport and less than 24 hours after picking it up from the Ceder drive location the North Ave location called me wanting to know when I was going to drop it off. Made me feel rushed. So I hurried up and finished using it then took it to there location. Apon arriving, there was a truck getting propane filled and other vehicles blocking access to there yard. Also 6 costumers standing in line at the desk. So I parked the trailer on the other side of the building from there yard in a good place next to there building out of anybodys way, not blocking any roads or driveway and left. Then got charged a $20 after hours drop off fee. Even though I dropped off around noon while they were open. Not my fault there yard was blocked and they were backed up. I will not be doing business with this location again. Will not recommend this location to anyone

Steven T.When checking in at the desk. The receptionist totally missed spelled my last name and did not even come close to spelling my first name. My phone number wasnt my phone number for the transaction so it was a bit difficult to return equipment and extend hrs of usage. But over all uhale employees were totally understanding and very helpful

bradly H.Retuning the trailer after hours, but within my 24hr rental period was a terrible experience. I could not get help front the phone or chat customer service contacts for at least 20 minutes. I sat in a dark area of the U-Haul lot trying to figure out if I would be okay to just leave the trailer there since the online checkin with the reservation number would not work.

Multiple other people stopped by in the 2 hours I was waiting and they were also upset they couldn't get in. I need to drop things off at 7 tonight and the office told me I wouldnt be able to get in and there is nothing they can do. I have had my money scammed away and am a full time college student and full time worker. I have to sleep in my car until I can get my money back from the man that scammed me. I will not be able to sleep in my car and will have no place to sleep tonight unless I can put my things in the storage unit. I would never have gotten the unit from u haul if they had informed me the hours werent as advertised. The staff told me there is nothing the can do.

Maybe she should focus more on doing her own job, than worrying about someone else's because she also didn't give me the keys so I had to stand there waiting for that as well.

CHRISTOPHER STEP J.I have one complaint. I move from one state to another. Rented a uhaul and a storage unit. When we got to the destination to unpack the uhaul, the storage we rented was not available. They only had one other storage available for 50 more. So we had no choice but to get it. They would discount the storage unit to the reserved price which I thought was bad business. It was reserved and they should have honored the price. Luckily they had 1 larger unit. Not sure what we we have done if they had no units.

Not only were they hanging out outside the UHaul storage units, they were going in and out of a unit in which it seemed that multiple males were living in the unit. All of which makes me extremely uncomfortable to continue to rent my units for multiple reasons. First, I usually visit my units alone bringing safety to the fore front of my concern. Secondly, the risk factor of theft and fire.

I had to take one in a different location that was in doors. I don't understand why it even lets you make a reservation if you're not going to be guaranteed the unit.

When I went to the office to sort it out, the staff member was exceptionally rude because it was "close to closing." He gave a another unit, across town, that turned out to also already be occupied. At that point, the office was closed and I had to find alternative storage because I didn't have time to wait until morning because I had to be out of my house by the next day.
