while the folks at the golden store we're great, I spent almost 5 hours on the phone with customer service to set up my Ubox. it's clear that there is training and process improvement that need to take place

I had to drive in the opposite direction I was traveling, to pick up the trailer. my pickup location changed a day or 2 before my appt,, so he extra 2+ hours to pick up equipment far away, was not a good experience.

No one was available after much waiting to return my vehicle and was forced to do so on my mobile device which especially after sitting and waiting at the drip off zone for 20 mins took far too much time and effort .

Great experience. I stopped by 2 days early for a new ball on my hitch. Easy, quick. Trailer pick up was done in five minutes, maybe less (I used online pre-check-in). Return was quick too! Staff was polite and helpful.

There was no way to contact the dealer directly when we had an issue with the truck. It took over 15 minutes of going through your phone memu and all of that BS to get to someone who might have and answer. It was very irritating as I had a moving crew that I was paying $40.00/hr/person to waide through your "customer service" to get some help. Unfortunately, I will have to use UHaul again as we have not completed our moves. I will, however, use the Marshdale/Conifer office as they are much more user friendly and much more responsive.

I went to have a hitch installed it they told me would take about an hour and end up taking 2 1/2 hours . The workers themselves did a great job but they were so busy they could never stay on it . I feel they could’ve offered a discount since it took so long !

1. Ask clerks to indicate where they can be found when they leave the store. Store was empty when I drove up and entered. Clerk was 75 yds away talking to another customer. 2. Maintain trucks better. Truck suspension was worn ou & truck would not track well on the highway. Mirrors would not adjust.

The trailer had a lot of air in the tires. It was very jumpy. As soon as I got close to 45 mph it would move a lot. I have rented a lot before and it was the first time this happened. That's why it took me longer than what I had expected for me to use it and added more hours. But service is always great on this location.

I reserved a trailer for a 3 day use online. I did pick up the trailer on Thursday the 4th at approximately 1:00 pm. It was a quick transaction and I was handed the envelope and hooked up and on my way. The person said "See you Sunday". One thing to note about that was a link I was texted with the pre-damage photos was empty. I did not worry too much about it at the moment, just after the fact added to the "errors". When we returned from our trip on Sunday we cleaned the trailer and took it to Uhaul to return it. They were pretty backed up with customers and when I was approached by a female employee I was greeted with a very annoyed temperament. She was pounding away on her little internet/phone device to get it checked back in. There were several negative statements about the device from her and she was very annoyed. When she did get it to work she gave me a total of over 100.00, I do not recall the exact amount but asked her how that was possible for a quote that was just over 50.00. She said well you have had it for 6 days! Very nasty tone...I replied to her that I only had it for 3 and went to the car to get the uhaul receipt. I opened it and showed it to her, she then said that I was late returning it, I was super confused as it was Sunday. She explained that it was due at 10 am, I noted that I was not told that and she said I should of read my contract. I did then look closely and saw that it was due at 10. The print is so small and I did not look at it when I picked up the trailer. I feel that the employee that checked it out should of verbally given me the return time and or pointed that out at the least. At any rate, I agreed to the extra day charge and she fussed with her handheld device and asked if I wanted it on the card that was on file. I said yes...she then told me that it didn't matter as I had no money in my account? (pretty bold statement from her and inappropriate. I then went to my car, got my cell phone and logged into my bank account. There was in fact money in my account to cover the charge. We then went inside for her to use an actual computer. On our way in I noticed a hand written note on the door that they count not process credit cards at the time. When we went inside there were 5 or 6 people waiting for service. She was very frazzled and called for a 2nd employee. I asked if the credit card sign might be why my card was not processing....she said she doubted it since it was in their system already. After several minutes of her failing to find the problem she wrote the return time on a piece of paper and sent me on my way. I was assured she would get it checked in. What a ridiculous experience. I walked away feeling like I made a HUGE mistake in choosing Uhaul. THEN....I noticed a few days later that I have 3 charges on my account from the store. on 4/11 $60.80, on 4/11 $9.69, and on 4/8 52.87. What in the actual heck is going on at that store? Credit card system was down. They required $100 for my order than was less than $100 and I only had $94. They wouldn't let me go. I waited 20 minutes for my ride to come back with 6 dollars. The woman processing the order was unable to operate the rental management computer program and expressed her apology by letting us know she didnt normally work up front and that there had been change in management. She didn't show me where the van was so I found it myself. My move went great and I used one dolly in the back of the truck. I brought back the van before they closed so I could get my refund on unused funds they had held. Did self check-in while the employee stood there after she told me it would be faster if I did it myself. Now I'm seeing that she charged me for 2 dollies. Im beside myself and at the same time, feel sorry that she didn't even realize that she is making a case to remove herself from her job since the app is "probably faster" and definitely had higher customer rating. I'd love a refund of $7 for the extra dolly I was charged. I will definitely not use this uhaul location again.

TgAt couldn’t get a trailer to wire properly so I was forced to get a truck. Double the cost. When I returned it that said they would reduce the cost of refueling to help offset my costs and trouble. That did not happen as I was charged 4 per gallon. Big help. I would not go there again

The main guy Ed was really helpful. Turns out U Haul Moving Help does not do UBox delivery to my final destination in Avon. Ed hooked me up w/ a local guy willing to deliver. AAA+++ all the way.
