We experienced engine troubles with our rental upon our return. The trouble extended our travel (5) five additional hours within our return trip. It was an experience I would not wish on anyone.

Jimmy R.The only issue I had was at the removal of the trailer. The guy removing trailer took my safety pin out of my ball hitch and never put back. I had to drive 10 miles to retrieve. The manager defended his staff initially saying they wouldn't do that then I asked him if the Uhaul staff at the location I picked up from failed to check the pin, then a light came on, was friendly but young and needs experience dealing with customers!
CARLOS G. | First ImpressionsThe staff was very unfriendly and not really personable at all, when I got my rental and went to get in it it was still hooked up to a trailer (which is no big deal). However, it was not cleaned up at all before I used it (which is a big deal). It smelled like smoke so bad inside that not only did I go buy wipes to clean the inside with I also bought air fresheners and frebreeze to spray inside it. On top of that, the starting mileage and gas amount was incorrect on the paperwork compared to the actual dashboard which tells me they didn't even check it in properly before I got it. If I didn't ABSOLUTELY need it for the week I would've returned it immediately and I actually did try to find another rental elsewhere but was unsuccessful. I would not recommend this location to anyone unfortunately for them because of this experience nor would I ever rent from them again and I've been renting uhaul trucks for the last five weeks and will be for the next couple of weeks still. Just not from this location.

Clay P.My first truck broke down. My second truck was dirty. Wasn't even checked in when I went to swap it out from the first one. Asked the worker to clean the windows, she did but not really. Sprayed some cleaner and moved the dirt around. I ended up doing it my self. The cabin was dirty and sticky. I cleaned it my self. Overall, the first worker I spoke with was great. The second the next day just seemed annoyed I asked to have the windows and mirrors cleaned; and the cabin was dirty. Truck performed great. No issues mechanically.

When I asked if there was a second regular dolly available I was also told no “there were none available.â€

Jozef V.If a customer is taking a uhaul on a one-way long distance, please make sure it is not a truck with a 143,000 miles, broken interior items. The check engine light came on during the trip. This caused to have to spend a night during the trip to travel in day time in case of a major break down.

I must add the teamwork between the staff is always displayed while working with the unreasonable customers I've witnessed and the team subjected to indure while remaining professional. They charged me a late fee and put a lock on my unit. They did of course correct their mistake and remove the lock and fee once I reminded them I am on auto pay. They also apologized and stated they didn't know why it decided not to run the card. Other than that, they were excellent. Well lit. Plenty of space. Plenty of carts to transport. Staff was usually always at the front desk so there was little to no waiting to talk to someone.

Expect to have to go to the office, in person, to ask or resolve any issues. During my check-in process there were untrained staff running the front desk. The owner, in person, actually said he will process my free month but he never did. As I checked out the employee working the desk was wonderful and handled my free month, hopefully. Still waiting for verification. Make sure this facility also trains you on how to enter the storage facility. Tip. You must swipe your care on the left hand card reader. Do not use the one on the right. The staff knows the one on the right doesn't work. Also the sliding glass door will always be open making the facility unsecure.

Then they did a fire inspection and update of the building that required our lock key left at the office until it was complete. It took forever and it was a pain to go to the office to key my key each time I needed to go into my unit. This June I was late on my payment for the 1st time in all these years because I was out of state at the time and payment was overlooked. I got charged $30 in late fees! They also locked my unit. I went to clean out my unit a couple of weeks after got back in town. I had already made the late payment and the lock was still on there. I had to go to the office to get it removed. The past few times I've been in the office it has been a long wait for assistance because there is only one person working the counter. Plus, I have been unable to get the location on the phone. Keep getting a main location automated system. Very frustrating experience the past 3 years. Glad I am all moved out as of July 15, 2021.
