The staff is excellent

MARGARET SI was glad this location existed 20 minutes from my new location in Tampa but the place isn't clean nor inviting. However, given that you may not have that many customers who use this location, it makes business sense to keep it the way it is. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Assejid HThe staff was very friendly. The person that I rented the trailer from took the time to make sure I understood exactly how the equipment work. When I went to drop it off, I was greeted and took right back to drop it off. You have wonderful staff here
MARK KThey give me hard time they charge me wrong
NAVEED II told them what I needed the U-Haul for: a refrigerator and a stove. I got a 10ft. And a dolly. But the refrigerator would not stand up in the U-Haul, so I had to lay it down. I told them when I returned and they thought that was my fault.

BAKTASH AAbsolutely NOT! HELL NO! They checked in the wrong truck and charged me for a missing truck! $11,507.68! During Christmas! … and then took no accountability for it! Do not go to this location!

dan lI left because the prices were totally ridiculous! Ive had my stuff there for several years but i just could not afford that kind of money any longer. One other remark, on more than one occasions when i needed to pick up or drop off you all had your trucks parked in most of the spots and the others were taken so i had to either sit and wait or return at another time.

Fred RSteering was extremely sloppy on this vehicle, worst I ever had in the multiple years I have rented here. Constantly had to correct while moving. Though on return employee said steering not bad at all, there are worst trucks in the inventory. Otherwise the truck was clean and just fine.

DANIEL EI reserved a 10x10 unit but upon arrival was told they were going to give me two 5x10 units…which is the same square footage BUT we had quite a few large items which made us have to play Tetris for two hours and have to move thing across from one unit to the other to make it all fit. This was a huge inconvenience to come to after our 6 day drive from TX w an infant. Even though it's highly inconvenient…we still had to pay the same price for the unit.

JOHN YHonestly the truck was fine, the equipment did the job and I have no complaints for what I needed. But I think it comes down to in my opinion low quality customer service and process in itself. Whether the issue is employee related or lack of employees to do the work that's needed I can't confirm but here were my below items that if it were up to me I'd say need improvement: 1.) The expectation on the phone was that if I picked up during store hours I'd have more assistance and the process would be quicker/smoother. Honestly I didn't really feel so as aside of talking to the lady who took my license and handed me the key it felt like I had to do everything myself on my own phone. Note I will go more into the app and poor cell service in the area in a second but as someone who works in tech the app wasn't very great either and the service didn't help either. I felt like I could've just picked it up when I wanted and not wasted my time waiting until 7 to go in to work with someone. When I asked about if I could assistance on how to get it at the front, they didn't seem they were very willing to help or direct me to someone who could when I asked for clarification as I've never done this before. 2.) The app wasn't the best either, it "did the job" but considering how much of this I had to do myself would hope for it to have been better. The instructions weren't very clear on some parts what was needed, for example drop off location wasn't very specific considering the entrance was practically almost blocked with other drop offs, so I just dropped it off where I picked it up which worked out fine. The camera part of the app is not very good, I couldn't get the whole side of the truck that's 26 feet long in a camera angle. I took pictures just in case there was any concerns, but otherwise seems it worked out fine in the end. On top of that, the signal wasn't good there so after I spent 5 minutes trying to take pictures walked all the way to the front getting ready to drop off the key, the app failed on me making me repeat the process over having to go back and take them again. The app should really have an upload picture option because again it felt like I wasted time having to redo it all to get it to finally upload. 3.) I rented a 26 foot truck, remove the dolly from there if I want the dolly I will request it. It just was in the way and made me less likely to ever want to rent one. Overall the price and just needing a big truck to load stuff in it definitely did what was needed. But these things ask for honesty so just providing it. I appreciate how it helped and got the job done at the end of they day very quick.

Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and super helpful, working efficiently to help get you in and out because it seemed to be a busy center. The storage units and the public areas (including the restroom!) were clean. They had plenty of moving carts, loved that!! I also appreciate the high-tech security monitoring they have which ensures your safety while onsite. Highly recommend this location!

Such insight about these little business who rent out trucks. Its not good. If I ever rent another Uhaul, I will go to a dedicated Uhaul rental center with storage units. So very disappointed.
George MMake the key drop off box easier to locate. Underneath the custom hitch sign is a bad spot for a key drop. After hours truck drop off should also be better located. I dropped the truck where I thought appropriate

Bathrooms smell like a mix of urine and Pine-Sol in the climate control bldg and just a foul odor lingering in the sales area bathroom The two chairs for waiting customers are stained and dirty. I rented a storage unit here a few years ago( which is why I rented again) and the owner was on site more it was much better when she was present. This time I rented for less than a month & decided to get my things out of there as quickly as possible.Disappointing.

The area is clean and stocked but the truck rental was a nightmare. They locked my unit up with a note that I didn't pay my rent 2 days after renting it. They put a charge on my card when I paid cash a week later still no refund on my card for the hold. Closed early first time due to no internet and forgot to give me blankets I had to have for my move and paid for. Went back for them and they closed 31/2 hours early. 2nd truck sluggish and brakes stuck. Power steering was a nightmare. I am disabled and it was so hard to drive. 3rd truck sluggish and check engine light came on. One issue after another. When I was leaving in my car I drove over a screw and got a flat tire in their parking lot. Refused to give me my money back on a lock I purchased ever I did not need until I called costumer service on the manager and they told him to do it and how to look up my purchase without a receipt. He knew exactly how to do it and chose to act like I was a thief instead of looking it up!!! A total mess the worst experience ever and I have rented from Uhaul plenty of times in the past! I didn't even stop to tell them about the tire and just drove home. I couldn't deal with the rudeness and excuses. So stressful they see I can't stand or walk and they have me doing dbl walking. Between them and my real state agent on the sale of my home I will never move again!!!!!!!! The worst move EVER!!! When you see someone in braces struggling to walk in you think you'd try to help them hold a door offer to help with a box not make them struggle to walk. Be polite it's free. The gentle men outside were absolutely wonderful they should be running the Uhaul there!! I still don't get the giant rat traps everywhere that makes me so very nervous!!

Restore clothes in there so we had to move to another facility. The staff was very kind tried to help the unit would have worked except for dealing with the moths.

steven k | Overall ExperienceIf I had to do again, I would rent again with U-Haul and be smarter. The service, facility, and hours met my needs. What I didn't like was, I moved out my unit 3 weeks before my next payment was due, and I didn't receive a refund for those three weeks. In essence, someone else could move in the next day and pay for the month making that the unit has been paid for twice. I wasn't happy about that one bit. I felt like I had been taken advantage of. I called the next day, and the unit had been rented out. Although I live out of state, I never missed a payment. Right is right, and wrong is wrong! This was wrong! I could understand if they weren't able to rent out the unit for 3 weeks, but here…they rented it out the NEXT DAY. Double money for the company's pocket, or the manager's pocket; certainly not my pocket.
