From the beginning, this process was horrible. I paid to have the boxes delivered to my house and ordered that to happen. The Richfield UHaul then calls me two days later and says they cannot deliver all of the boxes at once, because they don't have enough trailers. The number of trailers for UHaul boxes is not my problem - I paid for the service because I needed all of the boxes to be at my house for movers. They call again and say they can do it. Then I call to confirm the day before and am informed they cannot provide all of the trailers. Then I call the day of and MIRACULOUSLY they find enough trailers. At this point, I'm completely frazzled because I paid top dollar for this service and it's not going smoothly at all. Then, when we get to Flagstaff, I ask to get my boxes delivered. I am then informed that UHAUL WON'T DELIVER MY BOXES when I paid to have my boxes door-to-door, or at least that's what the website implies. I'm upset and deffered to a manager who isn't at the store at that time and told to "call back tomorrow." I eventually give up on this deception by UHAUL. A few days later I stop by UHAUL to access my boxes and am informed they need a 24 hour notice. Okay, so I give them the notice and state I want to access all of my boxes and pick up at least three boxes the next day. I arrive the next day and ONE of my six boxes is out and available at the agreed upon time. Okay, so I ask for the other five boxes to become available and after about 45 minutes, they are accessable. Then, I review which ones I want to take home and ask that all of them be put on trailers so I can see how many we will be able to take home. We move three boxes and as I'm coming back for the fourth, I see the person who trailers UHAUL boxes leaving the store. I then go inside and ask to have my fourth box trailored but am informed there's no one who can do that who's at the business at the time, even though we are 2 hours from closing time and I specifically ask to have everything trailered. So, I ask for all of the remaining boxes to be trailed by the next day at 4 pm. I leave. The next day, i call around 2 pm to confirm my boxes are going to be trailered when I arrive at 4 pm and it is confirmed by the person on the phone. I arrive at 4 pm. No boxes are trailered and the front desk asks if I need empty boxes. This is the fourth day in a row I've been trying to take my UHAUL boxes away from UHAUL to unpack. After another 30 minutes and waiting in line five people deep, I get my boxes trailered and transfer them to my home. I am irate and never plan to use UHAUL again. The website is deceptive about delivery options and the process took more time and energy than hiring an alternative. With this horrible experience, I expect some kind of compensation (AND NOT A FREAKING COUPON FOR YOUR HORRIBLE SERVICES). I am telling everyone I know to never use UHAUL for these services. As a United States Forest Service family who moves every 3-4 years, I will let anyone who is moving due to a new job to not use UHAUL or to expect an excruciating experience. This is a busy location, yet everyone seems to remain cheerful and upbeat and helpful. I did quite a bit of business in Flagstaff, and this most recent rental was the usual positive experience. Kathi Battali is a great asset for UHaul.STEPHEN K.

The gentleman who checked me in was polite and helpful. He got me out quickly, and provided me with a printed (live copy) receipt upon request. The only reason I did not give "excellent" is because there are no shuttle options - and often a single person has no ride after they drive the truck back to the depot. I would suggest this option - I ended up spending $20.00 for a cab to take me 3 miles to my home.STACIE A.

There was a small computer glitch when the counter person tried to print the receipt for us. Also, a sign on the counter said I could present a photo of my DL, but when I attempted to do so on my phone I was told that I had to present my actual DL so it could be copied.STACEY P.

The 26 footer was fairly new only had over 21,000 miles but it appeared it had been in a severe accident as the right front have been pushed inward causing the cabinet itself to shift in the door on the driver side as well as on the passenger side to be out of alignment the interior of the cab was in very good condition and very clean and the truck ran very wellMark H.

The Flagstaff location was helpful however I was originally sent from Flagstaff to Hanks Trading post to get my truck. I drove 30 miles to Hanks Trading post and it was closed. I had to drive 30 miles back to flagstaff to get a different truck.. Completely wasted 2 hours and 60 miles of gas..BRADLEY P.

The person who unhooked the trailer never spoke to me, he unhooked the trailer and then proceeded to walk into the office. I waved at him and he said you can leave, that was it. Beyond rude, unprofessional and not an example I would want for my business.TAMMY D.
Not location specific but uhaul is the worst. I chose uhaul specifically for the Bagdad, Az drop off location and i was jerked around from start to finish. Was allowed 3 days for one way rental. Upon check-in I was charged extra for returning trailer 3 hours after their standard duration. Placed was crowded with returns, and no one was waiting for a trailer. Poor customer service to ask me if it was okay to charge me extra. My response was of course, â€œnoâ€, but the check-in person evidently decided he wasn't empowered to do the right thing and override this. Unhaul should fix this to improve customer service.PHILLIP W.

The storage facility hours should be extended at least to close at midnight each night. Barring a few little leaks in the roof, the overall storage facility was awesome. Caleb is a great representative of Uhaul, very friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and most of all professional. The manager was rude to me while I was unloading my stuff to give to Goodwill. It was hard enough donating my dead fiancee stuff . I didn't need her to come in and yell at me and my guest and tell me to hurry up by 7 pm even though the storage unit doesn't close till 10pm as per contract. Plus the added on late fee of 15.00 every few days was impossible. U haul has probably made over 8 thousand dollars from me these last two years and I didn't appreciate this last part being talked to and treated like crap I will never use a U-Haul moving services again or will I ever use a U-Haul storage unit ever again and I will tell everybody that I know not to use it and the way that I was treated and talk toCINDY R. | Overall Experience
