I did arrive early however the truck was not cleaned or cleared of snow, ice before they told me it was ready to go. Had to dispute a few of the pictures they had on file, but at least that's an option. They clearly don't clear their parking lot and there is minimal parking.

I had issues with my key to my storage that I also have there. Got a pin now but not being able to access my storage caused me to have to keep uhaul over night which I hadn't planned on doing but every single one of the workers there are absolutely amazing! It's fixed now just for future reference just use the pin instead lot easier.

The manager is great. But his employee, that took care of my last rental, was absolutely horrible. He was rude and disrespectful to me. I will not pick up a rental from there again.

Travis and his team made took a lot of the pain out of a very painful experience (moving). They made reserving, picking up and dropping off the trailer very easy. They’re expertise in boxes needed for our move simplified the process. Travis is extremely friendly to the military and I saw no drop in service to those that weren’t. I would highly recommend this location if you are moving across town or across the state. A huge thank you for all of your assistance.

Great location and staff! However, the corporation does NOT stand behind their reservation guarantee! I booked a trailer and it was buried in a snow bank, I was told i could shovel it out if I felt like it(Macs Moorhead Location) I called customer service hotline and never got anywhere with rebooking a reservation and getting the guarantee they stand behind so diligently... good location, poor corporatists

The only problem we really encountered was the truck had no traction. None. Very difficult to get up small inclines and anywhere it was icy.

When dropping off trailer I was notified that one of the brake lights on the trailer was out. When I left Fargo I was told everything was "good to go". Not sure if it actually was.

I was told by 2-3 different employees, one the dispatcher on the phone and the other an in-shop worker that their dolley trailer would be able to tow my 2015 ford Taurus. To my surprise when we were rolling my car onto the trailer to be towed, my whole right side of my bumper cracked off, CLEARLY unable to be loaded on the trailer. Absolutely terrible customer service. I haven't been refunded for my trailer rental ( which I should be rightfully so because I paid for a service that I was told would function and it would not ) and I also haven't been contacted by my claim for the insurance I bought. I can't believe U-Haul doesn't know which models are able to be loaded on their trailers.

I reserved a truck one week in advance to be picked up on a Thursday at 12:00 noon. On the Tuesday before, I was informed that a truck would not be available until 4pm. When I went to pick up the truck at 4pm and inquired as to the reason for the late pickup I was told it was because my rental was one way and one way vehicles were limited. However, when I went out to the vehicle, it was covered with snow and it had not snowed since the previous night. Obviously the vehicle had been sitting in the lot the entire day. This 4 hour delay made the difference of my getting home at midnight instead of 8pm like I wanted to. Very inconvienent for no reason. Also, I rented two dozen packing pads. The sales associate handed me two plastic bags of pads and told me there were a dozen pads in each package. I did not bother to count the pads at that time, My mistake. Upon opening the bags of pads while we were packing furniture it was discovered that we only had 12 pads in total. We were to busy to go get more so we made due. When I returned the truck with the pads I was told that all bags had 12 pads and that I was short 12 pads. There is no way I lost 12 pads, the truck was never left unattended, we certainly did not steal any pads.

The guys at the business were great. Friendly and helpful. Pulled the truck up and wiped off the snow. May have forgot to leave the ice scraper as one would have been helpful during the day of snow. The truck may need better tires - like snow tires. Got stuck twice on roads where other vehicles moved along easily.

The general manager that was working with me on 12/14/19 around 10am was awesome. Great guy. The cargo door was difficult to open and might need some lubrication but over all good experience

Instead of saying the truck is full and making me fill it up completely in order to avoid charges, actually have the paperwork accurately reflect that it was only 3/4 full when I rented it.

This was no fault of the local location, but the cargo van we rented was not good for North Dakota winters when it was empty. We spent an hour getting it out of our driveway with only a few inches of snow. Rear-wheel drive and bad tires are not good in North Dakota in the winter.

One minor issue, and this has nothing to do with the location but just a general policy of U-Haul - the settings that control the volume on the radio limit it too to low a level to really hear it. It goes up to 14 but if the limit were 20 it would actually be less distracting. But then I listen to NPR, not just music. Hope you will consider getting that feedback to the big bosses! Thanks!

A family medical emergency occurred during rental period, so return was delayed. Small town friendly staff made everything simple and pleasant. Please tell Brian that our son is well on his way to healing.

The problem was mostly with corporate, except for an equipment problem, luckily they had another working trailer other than the one that blew the fuse in my car. One of the guys did get it all worked out, but it took us 2 hours. Drop off in Wichita, was awesome, 5 min.

Didnt have anything I ordered, nor was I contacted about you guys not even having furniture dolleys but were fine charging me until I called. I was a couple hours late returning due to doing everything by hand since the appliance dolley nor the furniture dolley were inside. Yes I was upgraded 3ft to a 20ft truck rather than the 17ft one free of charge because you didnt have the truck I asked for but when dropping it off, it tried charging me $80. For what exactly...? Being a couple hours late? Because that shouldn't even be that much since that's what I paid originally when I had anticipated all the extras I asked for. Completley unsatisfied. I'd rather go anywhere else next time

The staff member I worked with was rude and impatient with me. When I asked to take a look at the truck before I left, he said, 'it's fine' and handed me the keys. Super unprofessional.

Rented a truck to go 1 way from GF to MHD. Get a call the day before saying they have no truck in GF, I need to either drive to Crookston and get smaller truck and then drive to GF and have a trailer hooked on to the truck, or I need to rent a bigger truck in Fargo and drive it both ways. I took the bigger truck in Fargo. Came to pick up the truck and they didn't have it. Ended up waiting and waiting and eventually got a truck that was on E for gas. Because I now had to drive the truck round trip, it cost an extra $50+ dollars in gas. Went to return the truck and they had no record of this truck and it took about an hour to get it dropped off. The whole experience was a disaster.

Checked out December 24, 2018 and was still receiving invoice and left for January rent, and I was "officially" moved out of the system until January 12th. That's ridiculous! Im glad Aaron fixed it.

Had this 4 years and when I moved out of the inside climate controlled unit I discovered that my mattress and box spring that were wrapped in zippered vinyl were totally ruined!! Mgr never called back
